It goes in cycles based off of negative news reports and states getting greedy looking for tax $$. I'm seriously thinking about getting a 6 liter jug of 100mg/ml in VG base to add to my stash in the basement freezer, just in case of a Zombie attack. I just hope they ain't Vaping Zombies, then I'd be fucked.
I wouldn't worry too much--they'll only be vaping the brains flavor :)

I was wondering if you've tried nude nicotine, and how you'd say it rates with Vaper's Tek nicotine.....is there really such a difference?
Yes, there is a MAJOR difference. My first experience with NN will be my last. My 100mg bottle from them tasted like someone dumped a pepper mill into it. It's stashed in the freezer for emergencies.

My next purchase will probably be nic. I just bought another 50 glass bottles in prep. These taxation reports are becoming all too frequent and why not get it while it's cheap. I figure a litre will last me more than 7 years so will probably get two.

Hey tobacco fans, which fa tobacco would be closest to a marlboro light cigarette?
Having smoked marlboro lights, I'd have to say Burley as far as FA is concerned. If you're willing to branch out, Inawera Little Space Drop with Inawera Dirty Neutral Base is pretty flippin close.

I used to add whole tobacco alkaloids to my mixes when I was big into tobacco vapes. Calmed the urge to smoke.

Have you tried this one? http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-light-american-cigarette-replacement.2927/
I'm not into tobacco vapes at all, but I was thinking of mixing some for my nephews - I got them vaping for about 2-3 months, then they went back to smoking, and can't stand vaping food. :(

HIC is the real taste expert around here. I made this one as soon as he posted it but it had a lot more cigar taste to me than cigarette, so I didn't stay with that one. This one doesn't taste anything like it's name to me, but is very easy to get hooked on.

I've actually gone the other way...started with 6mg in the morning (when the cravings for a cig were bad) and then used 0 nic the rest of the day ... I'm up to about 13mg all day now.
woops. :)

I figure when I'm 82 I'll be right at about 255mg. :D
lol

lol! I've gone up as well, which surprised me. Then down, then up, and now back down again. I seem to respond differently to nic at different times. Does anyone else have this?

When I first quit smoking (from what I've read) I was using was 56mg--in the strongest version of White Cloud. That definitely hit the spot, but I couldn't vape often at that rate. When I switched to regular vaping-vaping, I started at 24 and gradually went down to 12 (over a few months) and then crept back up to 18-24. Now, in the last few weeks, I want it at around 10-12 again.

Someone needs to come up with a sort of ejuice dispensing doodad, like those coffee dispensers.... you punch in the nic strength, vg/pg, and flavors, and amount...you place your little bottle underneath a nozzle and voila, instant eliquid.

it could work.

Hey, I quit with White Cloud, too! They only had up to 36mg back then, so that's what I used. Then whatever Halo's strongest was, then DIY starting at 36. I still keep a bottle of 36mg unflavored around for desperate times, but I mix at 15-ish most of the time. Of course I vape at least twice as much, so no nic reduction for me (and I have no reason to try reducing, so...)

Sounds good to me! Maybe George Jetson could start making them at Spacely Sprockets :)

White Cloud was pretty pricey but I liked some of their flavors a lot (Espresso and Peach Pit) and compared to other cigalikes at the time they weren't bad at all. I had tried E-Health Cigarette from China and judged it "too involved"... heh heh heh. How naive I was! I would never in a million years have predicted I'd get to this level of involvement.

Ha :D ... 20 points for remembering Spacely Sprockets, excellent memory.

That would be so dang convenient, because, like you say, sometimes you don't really want that much nicotine, sometimes you do but having three or four bottles of the same flavor in different strengths multiplied by however many flavors you want around....that's a lot of bottles.

I want a button! An easy 21st century button.

I'm sure it could work, you just preload it with 100mg nic, some pg and vg, and all your flavors, throw a computer chip in there, a weighing apparatus and you're all set.

Maybe I can rig something up with some tupperware. :D

I can see that happening in the future. I could be hooked on the hand to mouth thing more than Nic. It seems pretty easy now to lower the Nicotine.

Me, too. I can be a chain vaper at times, so I figured it may be a good idea to lower the nic levels. Plus, I'd like to reach a point where I won't need to worry about getting nic in the event of a vapocalypse. I threw my ancient phone list of unsavory characters away a long time ago :D

Chances are I'll be one of those unsavory characters. I'll buy 2 litres of nic and then find I don't need nic anymore. When I started vaping I bought 5 cartons of cigarettes the day before. I still have them.

When I first bought premium VT Nic I had recently dropped down to 12 mg and then thought I missed the throat hit.Made my next base back up to 16 and it gave me a rush I didn't particularly want. Back to 12 and 6 quickly. Now thinking it's time to go lower as I really believe just the act of vaping is quite satisfying.

This^ would likely be a more satisfying vape. If you don't mind a little sweet honey flavor, Maxx Blend has good cigarette flavor.

Big time, I got down to ~5mg but it wasn't cutting it at times. Now I mix 12 and 6, switching up depending on how I feel.

I started out at 30 when I quit, am now doing all my mixes at 12mg. I still have a few 18mg I'm trying to use up but honestly can't tell much difference between 18 and 12. I did try vaping what was left of a 30mg and holy crap! That stuff about jacked me up! LOL!

I started at 24mg when I quit smoking, worked my way daon to 12mg, then back up to 24 for a bit. I'm currently at 18 now and I MAY try to work my way back down again.

I'm going to have to do some experimenting. I started with 24mg thinking I needed to. Now I make most of my juices at 14, but why????? Just because I guess. I really don't notice the difference from the higher nic. I guess I need to make some low, like 3 or 0, some 14, and some 24 of the same favorite juice and see if I can tell any difference.

OK, so what's everyone's general consensus on menthols? Specifically, menthol extract or menthol artic? I do like a bit of cool to some of my vapes, but not a punch you in the face blast of cold.

@Kingboomer I wasn't a huge fan of menthol analogs, so I didn't really think would end up mixing with it, but after 7 months of mixing, I've finally ordered the FA Arctic Menthol for kicks. And I made an interesting butterscotch, coconut, chocolate, menthol vape that is very smooth and icy. Nothing like a spearmint, just very cooling taste. I think I will experiment more with it over the summer with fruits. :D Dive in, give it a try!
I use it at 1% or less, so a 10ml bottle would last probably till next summer, unless I go rampant.:rolleyes:

I only notice a difference in extreme cases. 12-18mg, no biggie, but 12 to 30, yeah, that's pretty noticeable.
I tried 12, 18, 24mg when I first started vaping, but still smoked cigs. The vape didn't satisfy me, but when I went to a 30mg vape I didn't need to light up anymore. Haven't smoked since and I've lowered my nic level to 12.

@pdxjlb I had no idea FA made a menthol, but went to Mama J's and found Arctic under the tobacco flavors. Is it a straight menthol, or a menthol tobacco? My go-to stealth vape at work is a clone of Kringle's Curse and I may want to try the FA menthol and peppermint when my TFA stuff runs out.

The only other menthol I have is TPA Koolada. It seems quite similar, but obviously I lean towards FlavourArt. Basically because of the main contributors to this thread.:p

Yes, I admit that I have gone and purchased a 120ml of VT nic. just to try, but obviously to have extra on stock. My stock so far has only been a 1 liter from MFS that I bought last Sept, and has now been broken down into 8oz. glass jars with 20% headroom, in the freezer :D
(I feel a little better. But the kind better like, having a huge zit, popping it, then having to deal with the leftover crevasse to heal for days.)
Insert cuss word aimed at "regulation".o_O:(:eek:

There's one out there in concept mode, I'll see if I can find a link.
