I know they're aware of bugs going around, but I don't know anything more. Hoping it all resolves. Some people are having really bad issues, so mine is minor in comparison.

Has anyone heard from or seen anything from @Mike H. ? He's dropped out of sight since the update.

In addition to HIC's VG TH/reg nic review, after doing a side by side comparison with and without flavors, I think the TH VG nic is much smoother than the TH nic in PG.

Thanks :)
I ordered it in VG - I found out the really hard way that I apparently cannot tolerate 100% PG... I didn't mean to go 100%, it was a mistake, that I didn't realize until after vaping it for three months and my head nearly exploded. :D
Okay it wasn't as dramatic as all that but I had been using about 70/30 PG/VG before that, who knew that 30% of VG made all the difference in the world.

OK one more question: What FA flavors are good all by themselves? I'd like to have a few stand-alones ready to go while I let some of my other mixes steep.

Great to know! I LOVE ANISE!!! I'm actually one of the few that enjoys black licorice, and you've listed 2 or 3 on my must get list.

RY4 Double was the flavor that convinced me that DIYing was even doable. With the flavors above, Kingboomer should be able to make a passable similar clone. He might also need Acetyl Pyrazine, depending on his tastes.
I'd be happy to send him some of mine, over 20ml will last till I'm 100.....lol!

@Kingboomer ...she will too. All here are great. Teresa and I have shared a lot mailing flavors and supplies back and forth. I only diy for myself and son n law. I have plenty of 10-13 ml. Of flavors that I love, but use little of...for example fa cardamom, walnut, kiwi, strawberry (accidentally put two 10 ml. In cart), chocolate, blackcurrant. I don't share my vanillas or creams! Have lots of both limes too. I'd be happy to send some your way....cookie, meringue....maybe more, gotta look. Pm me.

Son n laws New vapes...

HICS Prickly pear margarita and..

Candy Island
3% TFA cantaloupe
1.5% FA Custard
1% FA Papaya
.5% FA Mango

This tastes very "candyish". Fyi tfa cantaloupe does not taste like cantaloupe....sweet candyish tasting.

No fa cantaloupe:eek: Bet it would be more fresh fruit with 1-1.5% FA cantaloupe vs. The tfa. Think I'd even up the papaya to 1.5% any who try do tell me about fa cantaloupe. I think these four fa flavors would rock together!

I have FA cantaloupe, but haven't tried it yet. Wonder how it would taste in that recipe?

If ELiquid Mart would get their collective heads out of their butts, no. Got a big bottle coming when they decide to wake up.
@wllmc could teach some of these vendors a thing or two about shipping!!

You're son in law has pretty good taste. I mixed up your Candy Island and I like it. It tastes like one of those colorless/clearish hard candy balls of undefined flavor.

Thanks to you Daintanee, I was able to use a little of my TFA Cantalope I thought I had no use for.

I asked that same question when I first started DIY, then ended up with a bunch of flavors I hardly ever used, while needing a bunch of others I didn't have. What worked for me was to initially pick some recipes and order stuff for those. From that, I started coming up with flavors that I never wanted to be ot of, and I know that list won't match anybody else's, so won't even go there. :D
I agree Cindy that is the approach that I took about 10 days ago . I found 4 or 5 recipes that I wanted to play with adn ordered all the flavors for those and then looked at the list and added a few more that I thought I would be interested in mixing with my originals. I also bought a couple of specialty flavors from Mama J's that I thought would be idiout proof if I had trouble with the recipe's. I convinced my wife that DIY was going to save us money in the long run so I need to have this work.

Well mixed up my first DIY recipe this afternoon with my 13 year old daughters help. I am legally blind so I do not trust myself to count the drops on small batches. I did HIC's Hawaii'n Pineapple Upside Downcake the only problem was that I forgot to order the caramel, so I added more brown sugar to the recipe. I then found I wanted a little more pineapple to come out so I increased it and I am enjoyng it will mix a 30ml bottle tomorrow and let it steep for a week. Does anyone know how well Game over custard works in place of Capella's

I havent tried the game over custard yet but It will be in my next order. From the sound of it it would make a great base it you are wanting to add in like cherry or strawberry to it.

Its a lot different than caps. Id suggest making a small batch of game over at the recommended % to get an idea of the profile. its super easy to mix with. you could use it in place of in a lot of recipes. just try it you will see :)

Everyone keeps praising VT nic...and I have a quick question...is there a difference in taste between the regular and the throat hit one?
I want to get the VT nic but I'm scared it'll have no throat hit...and if I get the throat hit one I'm scared it'll just taste like all the others and won't make a difference.
Anyone have any experience with the throat hit VT nic?
I only use the VT no throat hit and I find there is still a slight hit in the back of my throat at 3 MG.

Thanks :) that's good to know....I ordered the TH one, but also a small sample of the regular one....and I use about 12-13mg so maybe it'll be enough for me.

Boy this vaping thing is never ending innit? Ever since my first day I had visions of grape, green apple, cherry, etc dancing in my head but every time I try fruit vapes, it just doesn't work for me....but now I'm thinking maybe it's the nic and that peppery taste that's killing it and I might enjoy fruit vapes with the VT nic because grape and pepper just don't go well together.
good lord.
Am I going to have to make an order of FA fruit flavors? (All I have right now are a bunch of TFA fruit flavors that I used once and then they went into my "meh" box)
And I thought I'd save money giving up the cigs.

I hear you. I had the same issue with my mixes. Good way to check is to mix up you flavors and base without the nic and give it a try. If you like it then add your nic. If the harshness comes back then certainly is your nic. After I felt the throat hit with my nic I contacted VT because I thought I got the wrong one. Upon receiving my second batch of no throat hit I realized there will be a small amount of hit. I think it's mainly due to my sub ohm tanks because in other tanks it's barely noticeable plus as I have come down from 24 to 3 nic I am more sensitive to nic now. Definitely not a bad thing.

I never liked fruity vapes when I started DIY, not even FA's fruits. I figured I just didn't like vaping fruit, so I mostly stuck with fancy coffees at first.
When I got VT nic and tried fruits again, my hobby definitely expanded! It was like a flavor veil lifted, and suddenly fruits tasted right. I can still use lousy nic and get good coffees, but I can't get good fruits with it.

Darnit all to hell, I'm gonna have to make room in my diy drawer for FA fruit flavors now, I just know it!! :D

@ouzel, I learned AFTER pif'ing flavors I thought I didn't like, to not get rid of flavors. My taste buds still change/heal from smoking. I very much enjoy flavors that I didn't really care all that much for when I started out. Fruits have fallen into my daily rotation. I never thought I'd like fruit flavors. Admittedly, they are better with the VT nic, but everything has been, lol.

I have the feeling HIC has mentioned Cuban Supreme in this context, Dainta, but you'd have to check with HIC...or somebody who knows something about tobaccos. (Not me:))

Has anybody else noticed that talk of hoarding nicotine liquid seems to have been on the rise in the fora recently?

It goes in cycles based off of negative news reports and states getting greedy looking for tax $$. I'm seriously thinking about getting a 6 liter jug of 100mg/ml in VG base to add to my stash in the basement freezer, just in case of a Zombie attack. I just hope they ain't Vaping Zombies, then I'd be fucked.

I was wondering if you've tried nude nicotine, and how you'd say it rates with Vaper's Tek nicotine.....is there really such a difference?
