Yes u need a pc for dna boards but you can set 7 wire types up (8 if u don't want a power mode option) and switch between them on the mod itself.

If they made a fsk board mod with balanced 2 amp charging in the design of the alien I would horde the shit out of them. Even one like the therion would be nice. I mean I like the look of the g2. I have 3 of them but it's a shame such a good chip is confined to such a plain boxy mod. Dna chips are used in tons of mods but if u want an fsk it's the slice or g2 only
Dna250 mods have 2 amp charging. I'm waiting for a specific one to come out to grab one instead of another dna 200. Plus I could use the extra wattage. A big reason why I don't use the vt133 as much anymore is it can't power some of my stuff.
I am right there with you, if they put a FSK chip in a therion or lost vape finder enclosure I would buy 1 of each color. I guess you can say the Hohm mods are function over form, I love to use them but wish they had focused on style a little more.

Try this as a work around: Press the fire button 3 times so you are showing watts for adjustment not the temp once you get the temp you want dialed in. That way the TC should kick in if you accidentally hit the up/down buttons. A lock feature would be nice and I'm sure it's something HohmTech could put in with a FW update.Well, I've had my G2 for a little over a week now, and I just can't put this thing down. About the only time, I'm not vaping the G2 is when I'm driving simply because I have been running an RDA on it almost exclusively.
The G2, in my opinion, is absolutely the best bang for the buck mod on the market. I wish I had two or three more in my collection, (it will happen eventually) as this thing can take anything you throw at it and deliver a fantastic vape. The only negative I can find with this mod is there is no way (that I know of) to lock out the up/down buttons. I have had a couple of instances where I must have hit the up button when holding it and go to take a pull and almost set my throat on fire only to find that the temp was up to 700F.

That's why the 10 wrap 26g radiator coil I built wouldn't get any hotter past 66W. The watts will still climb but the voltage remained locked at 7.5V. I am going to have to build a parallel version to get the resistance down.

The FSK chip leans heavily towards the Linux side or things, relatively easy to setup and the ability to fine tune for maximum performance. Joyetech and its ilk represents Windows, in spades!

No insult. I always enjoyed OS X and never had any issues with it, but I am quite out of touch with any of the newer gear. The only machine I have left is an old MacBook C2D running 10.6...
Yup I'm more of a console guy myself. Have a ps4 and xb1 and getting a Scorpio next year. I got tired of pc gaming a while ago barely do any anymore.

The Radiator coil is a Boden (ECF) design and he builds them with double or triple parallel 28g or 30g. I only used a single 26g build, it really needs parallel.
