Why not try putting a SE in the cart and trying the code? Haven't tried it myself but you never know.

I am not crazy about the symbols emphasized either but the more and more I see them the more I like them. I have to admit, I wish my black SE was the LE, it is just too plain.

do what I did and put something on the door! yeah tried the SE on the cart and code trick do that all the time when buying, unfortunately no go. I'm sure there will be on sale on black Friday or cyber Monday plus hohmtech has something new coming out of the closet really soon so no reason to try to bank in on old gear

Hey guys I was checking out the cloudy vapor site in there moders section I think it was named . Guess what they sell the fsk chip for 60 bucks I think think about a custom wood box mod with fsk chip moders should be offering this chip imo. No need for escribe fires down way lower than my dna I just don't care for the square box mod.,also the battery sled comes with it soldered to the chip .

You could but the whole mod for less lol but I agree with you. The slice is a good option for a more pocket able mod.

A friend of mine use to work with a guy who is an engineer and has a 3d printer. If his place wasn't so far away I would go there and see if he can make a new enclosure for my G2. Would love to have something like the Boxer with a FSK chip in it. Get a fat daddy 510 for it centered so 30mm tanks would sit flush, that would be a dream mod.

Slice is a no go for me i don't like 26650 single battery mods had one and had to carry 3 26650 batterys to work sucked loll. Imo hohmtech should come up with a compact dual 18650 I heard about trip 26650 home run that's ridiculous imo.

Gives me a damaged atomizer message with my twisted messes 24

My first G2 gave me problems on the first day with about 4 different tanks. I almost sent it back the next day but that was a Friday so told the vendor I would use it over the weekend and if I still had problems I would ship it back on Monday. After a day or 2 the problems were only with my Horizon Tech tanks. Called Hohmtech on Monday and they said those tanks may have a longer 510 so try a oring drip tip on the 510 connector. I did that and the problem was solved.

Might also try unscrewing your TM 24 until you hit the fire button and it says connect atomizer, hit the fire button one more time until it says it again then screw on the tank and hit the fire button. Sometimes it doesn't clear the resistance of the previous atomizer and will give you a damaged atomizer warning.

I'm waiting for cloudyvapor.com to carry the Slice board. I was planning on buying the FSK chip from them but it looks like it would be quite a bit of re-working involved in getting it to fit in the VF Classic. I will wait and see what Hohm Tech will come out with before I start tearing my toys apart.

I have a TM 24 Sq on the way I hope it works on my g2. I have yet to have my mod crap on me with 510s too long. I have a RDA with a 510 pin that sticks out 3mm or more and it works fine on the g2.

for TC or power mode?
for TC I'd say use XXX mode. start really low like 5% FSK curve set watts to 171 and temp to 450f then raise the FSK curve until you get the vape you want. should be between 5 and 20%

That's good, but I personally wouldn't start any higher than 2.5 or 2.8 on the fsk. I haven't ran a kanthal build over 5% in xXx mode yet.

yes upgrade to the latest. can't remember which one added the extra 20 watts but the latest update smooths out the TC even more and gives more options for SS wire

Have it on 3.0% tried higher but it can only fire for 1-2 seconds. batters are below 60% if that matters

Here is a suggestion for all the ones having trouble with no connection when they put on a tank. I had the same problem wth the youde bellus. I ordered some 510 heatsinks, just get the ones that are labled type B. The type B has an adjustable screw on both sides. Fastech, gearbest, and 3fvape all have them. Just make sure the screw on the inside is also adjustable.
Now I have a question, on the Joyetech ultimo with the ceramic coils, has anyone ever used them in temp control? I do not know what kind of wire is in the ceramic, so I have no idea where to put the settings on temp control.
Thanks

I agree, the heat sinks with the adjustable screws work like a charm.

The Joyetech Cermic coils are leaky pieces of shit that have absolutely no consistency in their manufacture. I have ordered some of the notch coils for my Ultimo to save it from hitting the trash. Like all things Joyetech... the ceramic was a great idea, but a piss poor/cheap ass implementation.

And they are Kanthal.

If you have a G2 or Slice, when in doubt, xXx mode is your friend. I know they have a mode for ceramic coils, I believe it is the W but don't take my word for it.

I have not had that problem with leaking on the ceramic coils. I even rewicked mine with cotton just to see if I could do it. It worked fine.

Good luck with them for sure! I didn't like the manufacturing inconsistencies between the coils.
Not to derail the G2 thread too much, but how did you rewick them? I couldn't get the coil apart without smashing the ceramic, that bottom slug is pressed in quite tight.

Which is the wire inside ceramic coils.
Yes indeed, the sealed ceramic coils with the Tungsten wire inside that is used in the Horizon Krixus.
HZ-KRIX10-7.jpg

The Joyetech ceramic coils for the Ultimo are nothing like the above. Using the W setting on those would be all wrong since they are not Tungsten.
