Im not sure whats going on with vaporcube or Hohmtech right now but I didnt hear anything that they arent selling boxes anymore...they actually have plans for more powerful boxes on the horizon...
It may be due to christmas guys...Remember this time last year they didnt get much if any customers...now they are gaining traction and they might not be as ready as they were hoping.

Id be pretty shocked if these guys pulled a joytech/asppire/sigelei with all the resources they've gathered and put into the development of their FSK chip and software...they started from almost nothing and companies that start like that dont tend to throw it all away after making a certain amount of sales.
Not to mention the breakthrough they made in temp limiting. Can't see them throwing it all away.

The money is in the chip, not the mods, the mods were a tool to get the chips out there, that's why the G2 was built the way it was, an indestructible case holding the prized chip. If the money was in mods then we would all have Evolv mods but we dont, we have other mods with Evolv chips. But maybe I'm just being negative, im sure a lot of companies start unloading all there inventory well before Christmas at Rock bottom prices because who would pay premium prices at Christmas time?
I havent seen any real unloading the G2 has been sold on ebay, ecig.com and that LA store for around $60 for months now...I think they were selling Refurbs but not saying it...The G2 is a great mod but people complained too much about it not being attractive so they made the slice, people complain that it wasnt enough power...they started selling the chip by itself and selling refurbs for those who didnt like the $140 price tag....all they've done has been done for the consumers sake...they are also good at keeping things hidden until the info release date not starting hype like alot of other companies do...I have faith that they will balance it all out and come back strong...if you look for negativity you will find it but if you look at everything they've done its been all for us.
Im still waiting for someone to print or make enclosures for the chip....I still want a triple 18650 FSK Squonk Flask but I want higher output at lower resistances

Lots of places unload inventory at the end of the year for accounting purposes. I'm hoping that's the case here. They really did make a revolutionary board and it would be a damn shame to see them go by the way side.

The cost of developing a new mod for US mod makers is astronomical with the new FDA BULLSHIT. The problem may be the sales have skyrocketed when they lowered the price but at that price point it is no longer profitable.
Really sucks, truth is I would not have bought my first G2 if the price had not dropped. Now that I have really grown to appreciate all it can do I would have paid more, even $150 if it came in a Think Vape Finder case.
As jbone mentioned the chip is the key, I am hoping they can get a Evolv type business model to sell the FSK chip to other mod makers. Would suck like hell if this fine chip was no longer produced.

I know they are but IL keep emailing both companies every day just because I'm curious to see how long it takes to get a response. The grammar of the gentleman that replied to your email is about what I would expect from a company that doesnt answer customer complaints. It sucks that it happened but I'm kind of glad it did. There is a ton of great mods coming out in the next few weeks, Hohm tech would have continued getting my business but now I will buy the entire line of Panzer 250s that should be out in a few weeks, after that probably a triple 18650 DNA as I don't own any triple 18650 mods as of yet and my first might as well be a DNA. Let me start by saying that over all i really like this mod, I'm actually very impressed with the build. Now, with that out of the way, sadly I'm going to start using this in power only mode. Over the course of the past week I've had a recurring issue pop up in that tc just randomly stops working on my ss builds, multiple atties. This using the ss setting in the mod. I've had it happen on my limitless using .2 aliens, the Buddha using claptons, alliance using both spaced and non spaced builds. So it's not the atty, not the build. When it stops not even going into xxx mode works to get it to fire (which i shouldn't need to do to run a tc wire anyway). While yes i can swap over to watts mode, fire it, let it cool, pull the atty off and reset it, i feel i shouldn't need to for a tc build to work, it's not like I'm using kanthal. I'm hoping they release a update soon that fixes this, but until then i think I'll be sticking to wattage.

Yes. Again if it was one build or one atty i would say it's me, but with it happening on every single ss build i put on it, that leads to me it being either the chip or the firmware. Even when it won't fire in tc, i can swap it to wattage and it works perfect. I've let hohm tech know, so hopefully they can do something in a future update.

I'm in Florida and the temp change from the AC to the outside will do this to me, only takes a couple seconds to bump the fsk up or down and it works fine again. Just something to keep in mind if you change temp significantly
