Seems the way around here. Really hate when she's off in another part of the apartment and says something quietly. Probably, fifteen years ago, I got hearing tested. I was at the very least half deaf. Don't want to think how bad I am now.

Guess I ought to arrange my own hearing evaluation soon. Maybe get some kind of hearing aids. She fusses when I don't hear her. Her voice is soft-spoken, or frilly at times. *smh* It's not all a husband's "selective hearing".
