12 Spices That Belong In Your Medicine Cabinet
Hey Jimi,

In our opinion, our society is a bit too quick to reach for over-the-counter (OTC) meds for relief of everyday ailments like an upset stomach, headaches or muscle aches.

We look at these types of drugs as safe because they were not prescribed, but there are plenty of things in them that thin the lining of the gut, add a burden to the liver or kidneys and just overall don’t need to be in our bodies.

Instead, why not turn to nature for relief first?

Within your own kitchen, you possess all you need to calm, soothe and relax whatever minor ailment may arise.

1) Cinnamon:
Just half a teaspoon daily can dramatically reduce blood glucose levels in those with type 2 diabetes. Cinnamon is also proven to reduce triglycerides, LDL (“bad” cholesterol) and total cholesterol, as well as ward off urinary tract infections. The cinnamon we buy in stores is usually called cassia and is not real cinnamon, which is called “Ceylon.” The two spices don’t come from the same plant, but they do both offer an anticoagulant (anti-blood clot) property.

2) Basil:
This herb can be used on skin infections and insect bites. Basil is high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, phosphorus and calcium. It is also a source of iron, magnesium and potassium. It is proven within 8 weeks to help eyesight, depression, the cardiovascular system, and to ease digestive distress. Basil tea can also soothe a headache, calm the nerves and can help with lowering a fever naturally.

3) Cayenne:
Cayenne’s claim to fame is that it promotes circulation and boosts metabolism as well as offering relief from menstrual cramps and fibroid tumors when consumed internally. Externally, it can be used in a compress and creams as a pain-killer.

4) Cloves:
This delightful fall spice is a powerful antifungal and antimicrobial, making it a clear choice to promote digestive health. While it tastes fantastic in chai tea, you can also use it externally for dental pain (apply the oil) or add it to a footbath to get rid of athlete’s foot.

5) Parsley:
When used externally, parsley relieves itching (put fresh parsley in a warm bath). Taken inside the body, it is one of the most nutrient-rich, detoxifying herbs we have. It acts as an anti-inflammatory, an antispasmodic and a diuretic, helping conditions from colic to indigestion. Whenever you make or get a green juice, be sure to add parsley to it!

6) Sage:
Externally, sage is very beneficial in treating acne, gum and throat infections, breast pain and oily hair. Internally, sage is great for mental health. Sage tea has helped ease depression and anxiety for generations.

7) Thyme:
A wonderful anti-parasitic agent that can improve poor appetite, diarrhea, stomach cramps and indigestion. It helps with hangovers and doubles as an aid to alleviate symptoms from colds and bronchitis.

8) Cardamom:
Used internally for indigestion, nausea, vomiting and can help to cut back excessive phlegm. It is also used to prevent stomach pain and flatulence. In ancient Ayurvedic traditions, the cardamom seeds are chewed to sweeten the breath and help reduce the acid effects of caffeine in coffee.

9) Cumin:
Loaded with phyto-chemicals, Cumin is high in antioxidants, minerals like iron, copper, calcium, potassium, manganese, selenium, zinc and magnesium and contains high amounts of B-complex. The active principles in the cumin may increase the motility of the gastro-intestinal tract as well as increase the digestion power by increasing gastro-intestinal enzyme secretions. Cumin is also used to help with sleeplessness, and because of its antiseptic properties is great to consume when you feel a cold coming on.

10) Cilantro:
Cilantro is rich in nutrients and is a good source of iron, magnesium, phytonutrients and flavonoids and is also high in dietary fiber. Cilantro has been used for thousands of years as a digestive aid as it stimulates the appetite and aids in gastric juice secretion. It can also aid in lowering blood sugar having hypoglycemic properties, possibly the result of stimulating insulin secretion.

11) Ginger:
The root has a stellar reputation for controlling nausea of all types. Studies have shown ginger to be especially effective in curbing motion sickness, morning sickness, and postoperative and chemotherapy-induced nausea. Ginger is an excellent digestive, aiding in the absorption of food, and elimination of gas and bloating. Ginger stimulates circulation so it is good for cold hands and feet.

12) Turmeric:
A powerful dietary spice for auto-immune-related inflammation and pain. Turmeric is also a fantastic source of indirect antioxidants, which means that it boosts and stimulates the body’s own production of antioxidants for hours after consumption. Some of the longest-living people in the world are in Okinawa, Japan. Their longevity is credited to their ability to manage the inflammation process. They do this by drinking turmeric tea daily (see recipe here).

Cheers to health!

By now you probably understand that the health and productivity of a regenerative agriculture system is rooted in, and springs forth from, biodiversity.
And on the other hand you probably realize that managing agriculture from a reductionistic warfare paradigm that destorys soils and attacks "weeds" and "pathogens" threatens to collapse the biosphere via an "insect apocalypse" and contributing to the die-off of phytoplankton in our oceans.
In other words, an ecological approach to agriculture is essential to human and planetary health while a non-ecological approach could lead to our own extinction.
But are you fully applying this understanding to the management of your own personal health?
Enter "biological regulatory medicine" ... a diverse and evolving set of healing systems based on a holistic ecological paradigm.
It has never been more urgent to radically transform the collective medical consciousness now that the medical-governmental system may soon attempt to inject more substances promising to protect us for a feared "invader" ...
... with potentialy disastrous consequences if the results of recent safety trials are any indication.
You and I may understand the foolishness and danger of naive and poorly tested manipulations of biology, but many others are completely hypnotized, indoctrinated, and potentialy terrified into submission.
And if most people remain in this fear and don't demand strong evidence of safety before rash measures are taken, it probably will not go well for any of us.
And this goes far beyond recent world events. With or without infection-related epidemics, we are headed for economic collapse if collective health care consciousness is not transformed very soon.
We need to help our colleagues, friends, and families wake up to how biology actually works and how safe we truly are as long as we don't succumb to fear, reductionism, and warfare-based biological and medical paradigms.
So I'd like to ask you to watch and share the Beyond Biological Medicine series that started yesterday.
The day 1 interviews with Zach Bush, MD, Detrich Klinghardt, MD, Kiran Krishnan, PhD, and others were quite eye-opening as usual.
Most importantly, we must help the people around us to realize that our bodies are ecosystems and that isolation and warfare medicine will not create safety.
Again, I hope you will watch and share this series to help transform the collective medical paradigm and calm fears fomented by beliefs and messages that divide us from Nature and separate us from our true nature.
There is exciting and hopeful news coming out of the latest research about what viruses really are and what they really do (interview with Zach Bush).
And I was blown away to hear about research showing that whether a toxin affects us may depend on how the autonomic nervous system is functioning (interview with Dietrich Klinghardt).
Let's keep pushing for a paradigm tipping point because there is freedom, abundance, and security waiting for humanity on the other side of that.
And I sense that watching and sharing the Beyond Biological Medicine can send a few more transformational ripples across the pond of human awareness.
Live healthy on a thriving planet,

Good day, Jimi!

The "art" of healing the human body with medicinal plants has been around since at least 1,500 BC, when Mother Nature was the ultimate physician.

Today, you might reach for a bottle of acetaminophen if you have a fever, but ancient civilizations were likely to use a mixture of common centaury and wormwood. The had similar remedies for everything from stomach cramps to joint pain.

--->>Download your complimentary eBook, The Little Book of Proven Remedies!

Harnessing the power of nature to heal the human body used to be practiced by nearly everyone. That's because, in those days, if you couldn't use plants and herbs to heal yourself, you might be in trouble.

They didn't have well-trained doctors, medications and massive hospitals to help recover from common illnesses and diseases. For this reason, people learned out of necessity about the remarkable cures Mother Nature offers.

These days, with the prevalence of hospitals and prescription medications, the average person has forgotten how to heal the body with natural methods. When you get sick, you head to the doctor's office or urgent care and rely on someone else to make you better.

What if you could learn the secrets of nature's medicinal plants?

--->>Gain immediate access to the Little Book of Proven Remedies now!

When you unlock this gift, you’ll also save a seat for the free, online Secrets of Natural Healing Summit (starting on September 29th) -- with over 30 world-renowned experts who reveal the hidden truth of Western medicine’s role climbing death rates, and show you what to do instead.

You can truly get started on better health today!

Hi ,

What if you would have to eat eight oranges to get as much Vitamin A as your grandparents would have gotten from just one orange?

That's exactly what researchers have found...

According to Dr. Vandana Shiva, "60% to 70% of the nutrition in food has disappeared in industrialized countries".

How can that happen and what can we do about it?

Watch Dr. Shiva share her research and solutions here.

From the US to Europe to Australia - everywhere researchers look, they find a decline or dilution of:

  • calcium
  • iron
  • vitamin B2
  • vitamin C
  • vitamin A
  • potassium
  • magnesium
  • zinc
And the list goes on with unkown consequences for our health and future.

In her eye-opening presentation, Dr. Shiva breaks down the history of farming, where we went wrong and what we have to do to have a chance.

Did you know for example that two out of the top three fertilizers are critically short in the US and according to UC Berkeley professor Ronald Amundson may run out in a little as 30 years?

Imagine that:

Unless we find a better way, not only are we losing nutrients, we may dependent on other countries to grow food at all...

Click here to watch Dr. Shiva introduces a new paradigm in agriculture and draw a startling comparison between industrial farming and cancer cells (once you get this, you'll know exactly what needs to be done).

And while you're there be sure to request your complimentary access to the full interview. It's part of the Plant Fit Summit which includes six bonus presentations that look at the link between personal health and planetary health. That's on top of 32 brand new interviews on health, fitness and mindset with experts like Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Jim Loomis, Dr. Vivian Chen, Chef AJ, Ocean Robbins, Cyrus & Robby, Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. Linda Carney, Dr. Kristi Funk, Dr. Doug Lisle and many more! (full line up here)

And if you're interested in growing food the right way, click here to learn about Dr. Shiva's online resources.

This is our most important summit yet - so please share this email with your friends and family so they can join us too.

Thank you and wishing you a great day wherever you are!

Yours in health,
Tobi

Did you know your liver serves over 500 essential functions in your body? So when it isn’t functioning properly, neither are you. To learn how you can support this vital organ, sign up for the upcoming Fatty Liver Docu-Class, as my guest, and get a detailed list of the toxins that damage your liver.
Your liver's main job is to filter everything that enters your body — but it was not made to handle the high amount of toxins we now encounter.
Although it has amazing healing capabilities, constant exposure to toxins can sometimes cause irreversible damage.
Learn how to protect your “Queen” and how to stop the damage.
Your liver can be compromised up to 90% without warning. With the direct correlation to autoimmune conditions and the absence of symptomatology, my good friend Jonathan Landsman wanted to make sure people had the necessary tools to address this problem before it became too late.
He created the Fatty-Liver Docu-Class to share this information.
I join him on Day 5 with my talk on "The Wheat-Liver Disease Connection".
  • Find out what the gut-liver axis is and how it affects your ability to avoid health problems.
  • Discover the “at-home liver health test” that every person should take now.
Heed my warning about the rise of liver cancer, so you don’t become another statistic.

Good day, Jimi!
Are you feeling like you may have lost some gigawatts in the brain department?
Not experiencing the sharpness you had in your 20s and 30s?

Do you feel tired no matter how much you sleep?

It’s all too common, and the frustrating part is that it’s difficult to do anything -- it’s hard to fix a problem if you don’t know the root cause.

The good news: we may know the root cause of cognitive brain challenges, and there is something you can do about it.

Your endocannabinoid system (ECS) interacts directly with your brain. In fact, its receptors in the hippocampus (responsible for learning and memory) actually decrease with age.

Researchers believe this is one reason for the correlation between aging and cognitive decline -- it's being called "endocannabinoid deficiency
."

--->>Join us for a live Q&A (with on-demand replay) with Leanne Ely and Will Kleidon!

On Wednesday, September 23 at 7pm US Eastern (New York time), we're excited to bring you a live webinar, How to Rebalance and Restore Your Endocannabinoid System… and Resolve Your Unexplained Health Issues!

Continue reading for a sneak peek a
t how to use fatty acids to balance your ECS...
Endocannabinoids are produced from arachidonic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. Having enough arachidonic acid is essential for endocannabinoid production, but having too much may lead to down-regulation of cannabinoid receptors, and excessive omega-6 intake is also pro-inflammatory.

--->>The trick is to balance omega-6 fatty acids with omega-3 fatty acids in a one-to-one ratio.

And the typical western diet is ten-to-one.

Omega-6-fatty acids can be derived from safflower, sunflower, corn and soy, and in animal products like non-grass-fed meat.

Omega-3 fatty acids are found in hemp seeds and oil, flax seeds and oil, chia seeds, walnuts, sardines, anchovies and pasture-fed or omega-3 enriched eggs.

Here are a few other things to help prevent ECS deficiency:

  • Avoid certain pesticides (like chlorpyrifos, glyphosate & piperonyl butoxide) found in almost all non-organic foods
  • Choose organic meats, dairy & produce
  • Avoid phthalates in plastic & tin containers & water bottles
  • Choose glass or stainless steel food containers & packaging
  • Never eat food that's been heated in plastic

--->>There is so much more to learn about the amazing endocannabinoid system, and how you can optimize it for a better life.

For almost as long as we have been walking on 2 legs humans have been processing food.
We grind it, smoke it, cook it, ferment it, and so on.
However, it has only been the last couple hundred (and particularly the last 100) that we taken processing to an industrial level.
Turning an inedible variety of corn into... well, into almost everything we eat has been a technologically impressive feat. Sadly, the evidence continues to mount that it is killing us.
Every so often I like to give people a reminder that you are not getting this email simply because you like to grow tomatoes, but because you have joined the Rebellion.
The Rebellion against an industrial food system that is destroying the soil, our health, & the Earth.
From novel viruses to toxic smoke filled air I am regularly reminded how important being healthy is.
At Rebel Gardens we focus on the food growing side of this equation.
You never have to buy anything from me. Ever.
But if you want to support the mission Amazon has our popular Organic Veggies curated seed collection on sale. They have added a clickable 15% off coupon, so feel free to stock up for your fall garden or just for next year.

Hi Jimi,
You’re wheeling through the grocery aisles, feeling pretty good about the fresh greens and other healthy foods you’ve picked up after carefully curating your list. Then you reach for that same item you pick up every week, the one that disguises toxins under an ingredient that sounds harmless.
With so many cryptic names on labels these days, how can you possibly understand exactly what certain mysterious words mean? With just a few simple missteps, you can undo all the hard work you put into clearing toxins from your home and diet.
>> How can you tell the truth from the toxins?
By equipping yourself with the facts, you can strike off your list the one thing you eat that increases the risk of death from cancer and heart disease by 35 to 75 percent, according to a major study by the Journal of the American Medical Association. You can also discover which everyday foods can help prevent chronic inflammation that can change your DNA and trigger the growth of cancer cells.

And you can add this one food that -- even by eating four ounces of it per day -- would decrease your risk of colorectal cancer by 12 to 17 per cent.
Have you guessed yet which shelf has the items that cause obesity, cancer, infertility, type 2 diabetes and other life-shortening ailments?
You don’t want to feed yourself, your family and your guests foods that will shorten their lives by up to a decade. Once you know what to avoid, all you have to do is substitute another delicious item for tonight’s supper.

Are You Experiencing Allergies or COVID-19?

By Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen, MDs

The start of fall brings pumpkin spice lattes, fresh apples, and allergies. The most common causes of sneezing, sniffling, headaches, and red-eyed misery are ragweed and other weeds, along with trees and the mold and mildew from wet, fallen leaves.

But this year, with the presence of COVID-19, you may find yourself worrying that your symptoms are virus-related instead of coming from allergies.

That's understandable. Many symptoms — such as a sore throat, shortness of breath, fatigue, and loss of taste and smell — can seem similar to COVID-19. But there are important differences.

Special: If Nothing Has Fixed Your Fatigue, Try This at Home

Coronavirus symptoms are often accompanied by a fever. That's not an allergy symptom.

Gastrointestinal distress and achy muscles are also not signals of seasonal allergies.

Itchy eyes, nose, throat, and ears? Sneezing? Those are generally signs of an allergic reaction, especially if you experience such symptoms annually.

If you're nervous about how you're feeling, you can take these steps:

  • Make an appointment with an allergist. A scratch test will identify most allergens.
  • If you have allergies, avoid being outdoors during peak pollen hours (mid-morning to early afternoon).
  • When you do go out, wear your face mask. It can reduce pollen exposure while decreasing the chance of spreading COVID-19.
  • Use a neti pot — scrupulously cleaned — twice a day to flush your sinuses and reduce irritation. You can also use over-the-counter antihistamines and other medications. Ask your doctor what's best.
  • Get a COVID-19 test. If you don't typically suffer from allergies and you have new symptoms, getting tested is the smart (and socially responsible) thing to do.

Statins Work, but Watch Out for Side Effects

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

Statins are one of the most widely prescribed drugs in the United States for one simple reason: They work!

Partially because of statins, there’s been a 30% drop in heart disease deaths over the past few decades.

However, the most common reason for the reluctance of patients to start taking statins is that they do have potential adverse side effects.

Special: How to Keep Your Doctor From Lecturing You About Cholesterol

When they were developed a quarter-century ago, statins were seen as having few side effects. But over the years, concerns have arisen, including:

  • Liver Injury. In rare cases, statin use can damage the liver.
  • Memory Loss. The FDA has received reports of memory loss, confusion, and other thinking problems in statin users, but such symptoms are believed to be reversible.
  • Diabetes. Statins can raise blood sugar, and in some cases that can lead to an increased risk of Type 2 diabetes. Blood sugar levels should be monitored.
  • Muscle Damage. Statins cause a rare type of progressive muscle wasting that is very serious.
  • Muscle Pain. This is, by far, the most common complaint of people who are taking statins, sometimes accompanied by fatigue as well. Changing to a different type of statin, taking it every second or third day instead of daily, and taking a CoQ10 supplement may offer relief.
Who should take statins? For people with heart disease, the recommended goal is a total cholesterol number of 150 or below, with an LDL cholesterol level of 70 or less, and an HDL cholesterol level (the so-called “good” cholesterol) of 45 or more.

We hear about heart disease all the time...
And cancer...
And diabetes...
But when was the last time you heard about Fatty Liver Disease?
Well most people don't know this but...
1 in 3 people have Fatty Liver Disease — and it's the precursor to almost all chronic diseases like:
  • Heart disease
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Dementia
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Sleep problems
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Underactive thyroid
  • Skin issues
Plus even more shocking...
A new study from the UK recently revealed that your risk of being hospitalized with coronavirus DOUBLES if your liver contains over 10% fat!
How is this possible?
Well, your liver is the largest internal organ — and the reason it's so big is because it's involved in over 500 bodily functions.
So when your liver is compromised it affects every organ and system in your entire body.
Why haven't you heard about this before?
Well it's no secret — all the latest medical studies are shouting it from the rooftops — but for some reason the mainstream media hasn't picked up on it yet.
(Makes me wonder if they're hiding something!?)
My friend Jonathan Landsman is going to tell the world about it in his upcoming Fatty Liver Docu-Class.
You do not want to miss this life-changing “LIVE” event if...
  • You've been diagnosed with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
  • You have any of the health conditions listed above
  • You're overweight or obese
  • You have Hepatitis (A, B, or C)
  • You have cirrhosis
  • You're on the liver transplant list
Jonathan has been a leader in the natural health field for over 30 years now — and known for being controversial — but he's really rocking the boat with this one!
You don't want to miss this event!

Unlearning 3 Childhood Eating Habits That Don't Serve You

Everything you’re doing now is rooted in what you learned in your childhood home.

That may be a tough pill to swallow, but only if your listening is defensive. Perhaps you read that sentence and had the thought, “I’m an adult. I’ve modified my behaviors as I’ve grown up! I’m not childlike anymore!”

In reality, we’re all childlike – the idea that adults mature to a magic number and pupate, crawling forth from their cocoons and emerging into perfect and complete adults couldn’t be further from the truth.

Even in the ways we rebel from our childhood selves, we’re basing our current behavior on lived experiences from our childhoods.

Including the way that we eat.

Kids are tricky, and parenting, as anyone who’s been parented or is a parent certainly knows, does not come with a manual.
image

So sometimes, we ingrain habits in our children that we don’t mean for them to carry with them forever.

And yet, impressions are a curious thing. Nagging your child for 18 years about the importance of doing the dishes right after dinner might never stick, but that subconscious guilting via “starving kids in China” could stay forever.

Psychologists specializing in childhood analysis will tell you – many of the issues that plague you in adulthood are borne out of experiences you had when you were little.

Often, those experiences and the learned behavior that accompanies them no longer serve you!

And there are three major childhood eating habits that could stand to be unlearned…

Finishing Your Plate

If you can remember one or both parents refusing to let you leave the table before you finished your meal, reminding you to be grateful because a child in a third-world country would be thrilled to have your dinner, or encouraging you to get seconds after you’d finished your first plate, it’s possible you’ve internalized this message.

Sometimes, parents just wanted to make sure you were eating enough calories for your tiny body to grow. Sometimes, they were using a false sense of scarcity to instill gratitude in you for the food you were given.

But as adults, a lot of us tend to pile our plates up high, and then eat way past the point of satiety in order to accomplish an unspoken contract between us and our plates: You must finish your portion.

Here’s the thing…

You don’t have to. And in fact, in the West, our portion sizes are considered huge. You don’t ever have to finish your plate. You can save it for later if you think you’ll eat it, but you can also compost it, throw it away, give it away, or repurpose it into something else.

Picky or Familiar Eating

Here’s a tough one to pinpoint, because every picky eater has had a different journey with food.

Maybe a microwavable chicken pot pie made you sick once and you never tried it again, or you couldn’t stand eggs because one time your mom left a shell in your scrambled breakfast, or just hated the taste of brussel sprouts from the first time you ever tried one.

Fear of relinquishing control or losing your agency as a child can make you cling to those identifiers long past their usefulness, and hamstring you in certain grown-up endeavors.

For example, the more we understand the implications of our diet on everything from our energy levels to the bacterial colonies in our digestive tract to mental illnesses, the more we try to diversify our diets.

Self-imposed restrictions you haven’t reconsidered in years may be holding you back – tell your inner child to be brave and try new things.

Just because you wouldn’t have eaten an acai bowl at 10 years old doesn’t mean you can’t at 40!

Making Meals out of Junk Food

We didn’t always know what we know now, and the internet wasn’t around for a lot of parents to research and outsource other options.

For a long time, a heavy pasta dinner with bread (and a small salad) was a pretty normal meal. As families steadily required dual incomes, cooking a well-rounded dinner every night became less feasible, and so many of us grew up eating microwavable TV dinners, quick-fix quesadillas, and other junk-food disguised as real food.

And now that you have the power of the grocery store, your income, and the internet at your disposal, you can make adult-friendly versions of the treats you loved for dinner as a kid!

Use real cheese for that quesadilla and stuff it with veggies! Try a pasta replacement, like spaghetti squash or pasta made with ancient grains, plus tomatoes from your garden for that decadent Italian dinner. Make your own chicken pot pie from scratch with bone broth and farm-raised chicken instead of microwaving a frozen one.

There are all sorts of ways to upgrade your eating habits from the ones that kept you alive through your childhood.

Eat exactly how much you need, always be open to trying new things, and use fresh and healthy ingredients if you’re feeling nostalgic for a childhood favorite.

But if you need more help and guidance beyond this advice…

You may want to consider signing up to watch Dr. Trevor Cates’ exclusive four-episode series, “Cooking for Vitality.” As a naturopathic doctor and a mom of three kids, she’s made it her business to know what kind of eating and cooking feeds you energy, and what kind doesn’t.

The series doesn’t drop for a few weeks, but if you click here to find out more about it, you’ll be ready when it does!

What are Electromagnetic Fields?
And How They Can Sabotage Your Sleep
EMFs are created by electrically charge objects, and it is the combination of electric fields (produced by voltage), meet magnetic fields (produced by electrical currents). These EMF are everywhere – both existing in nature, and manmade. However, what makes these EMF’s strong or weak are the frequencies they give off.
Some household items, like some kitchen appliances, have low frequencies and therefore don’t give off as many EMF. It’s the higher frequency items – TV, mobile telephone, WiFi router – that can be of concern. Think about it – these items communicate and are connected to satellites thousands of miles away –think of the energy they must be giving off.
Individuals with electromagnetic sensitivity will commonly experience the following EMF exposure symptoms:
  • Headaches
  • Poor sleep/insomnia-trouble falling and or staying asleep, feeling unrested next day
  • Tension headaches along the sides of the head and temple area
  • Heart palpitations and a pressure in the chest
  • Feeling that the heart wants to jump out of the chest while at the same time the chest is being stepped upon
  • Skin burning, redness, rashes and tingling particularly on the face and arms
  • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
  • Fatigue and tiredness during the day (even after many hours of sleep, tiredness pervades the day)
  • Cognitive decline
  • Memory and concentration difficulties – a “brain fog” and feeling that one’s brain has aged 30 years in a short period of time
  • Anxiety or tension within the body (often experienced as inner agitation that seemingly comes from nowhere. In retrospect, the person is near a cell phone
  • Mood-swings (the endocrine system, which governs our hormones, is highly affected by EMF pollution).
  • Arm, finger and leg twitching (involuntary finger movements when exposed to microwave radiation from radio towers)
  • Low moods

Laughter
Knock knock. Who's there? Yah.
Yah who?
No thanks, I use Google and Duck Duck Go.

Well maybe that didn’t make you laugh but at least I tried.

Have you laughed today? Did you know that laughter is good for your health? How great is that?

For me, comedy is a great way to relieve stress and relax. Whether it’s a funny movie or just sitting around with friends telling funny stories. But, did you know that laughter doesn't just make you feel good? There are some real quantifiable health benefits.

According to the Mayo Clinic here are some of the benefits.

Short-term benefits

When you laugh, it doesn't just lighten your mental load, it actually induces physical changes in your body.

Stimulate many organs. Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain.

Activate and relieve your stress response. A rollicking laugh fires up and then cools down your stress response, and it can increase and then decrease your heart rate and blood pressure. The result? A good, relaxed feeling.

Soothe tension. Laughter can also stimulate circulation and aid muscle relaxation, both of which can help reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress.

Long-term effects

Laughter isn't just a quick pick-me-up, though. It's also good for you over the long term.

Improve your immune system. Negative thoughts manifest into chemical reactions that can affect your body by bringing more stress into your system and decreasing your immunity. By contrast, positive thoughts can actually release neuropeptides that help fight stress and potentially more-serious illnesses.

Relieve pain. Laughter may ease pain by causing the body to produce its own natural painkillers.

Increase personal satisfaction. Laughter can also make it easier to cope with difficult situations. It also helps you connect with other people.

Improve your mood. Many people experience depression, sometimes due to chronic illnesses. Laughter can help lessen your depression and anxiety and may make you feel happier.

So the next time you hear a good joke, pass it on and spread some good vibes.

Until next time. Make good choices and stay healthy! ?

? Fiber is essential in regulating the body's digestion. Fiber is the part of a food or plant that the body is incapable of digesting. There are two types: soluble and insoluble fiber—both types of fiber play key roles in the body. Eating more fiber is beneficial to a healthy diet, especially when accompanied by increased water intake.

The textbook definition of health is "the state of being free from illness or injury."

I think we can do way better, don’t you?

I think health is more than that… it’s mind, body and spirit working together in harmony.

It’s collectively us all working together. In harmony.

Look, we’re all facing some challenging times but what if we had JUST the right guidance?

What if the world’s leading minds gave you their best tips to achieve vibrant health?

See, my friend Lloyd Burrell has been putting together an amazing event called The Healing with Vibration Summit.

And right now, when you register (at no cost) he’s GIVING you his eBook, 9 Breakthrough Strategies to Heal with Vibration.

It shares a new vision for health and is packed with 27 tips for healing with vibration.

Like Dr. Tom O’Bryan who says: "The gateway to consciousness really resides within us not outside of us. And to get there we need to understand that a potential map to more awareness, more consciousness, is inside of us right now."

And Jonathan Goldman: "There are two different ways that sound, particularly music, can be used for healing. One of them is called psychoacoustics. That means the sound goes into your ears, into your neural pathways, into your brain, and affects your brain, your nervous system, your heart rate, your respiration, and your brain waves. So depending upon the music, it can either speed up or slow down your heart, to cause your sympathetic nervous system to relax. Music is an extraordinary tool for relaxation."

And Magda Havas, PhD: "Many people suffer from EMFs, or electromagnetic pollution. It is an incredibly serious problem and the symptoms can include: cancer, brain fog, reproductive problems and neuro hormonal effects (electro hypersensitivity)."

These are just small snippets from this extraordinary eBook.

When you download the eBook, you’ll also gain access to all 50 expert talks from the summit beginning Sept. 22nd (launches yesterday!)

In this first-of-its-kind summit you will learn how to harness the power of vibrational healing, grounding, transcendent thought, bioenergetics, herbal medicine, quantum health and more.

You’ll discover simple solutions and protocols to balance your autonomic nervous system, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve focus and energy.

Some of these tips take just seconds before you start to see results.

>> Head here now to gain access at no cost.

The eBook,9 Breakthrough Strategies to Heal with Vibration, is FREE to download.. get your copy NOW.

Here’s to your highest state of true health.

Hey Jimi,

Dr. Elisa Song is someone I've followed for a long time and admired from a distance - but I'd never personally met or been connected to her in any way. I was actually a little nervous to record this episode of our ongoing Wellness Optimization Series!

I've watched several interviews of hers over the years and she's always 100% on point with her clear, concise presentation of information and her personal experience and expertise. She's also a prolific creator of very high quality, high value content on her website, social media, etc...

A bit of a rock star, if you will.

As you may or may not know, we started the Wellness Optimization Series back in March when the pandemic situation first kicked off. It began as a series of informal conversations with some of my closest friends in the health industry to talk about various aspects of what was happening, what did we know, what actions could people take, etc...

When I saw her post in a professional group about ways to talk about kids regarding what was happening in a simple, safe, and clear way - I decided to reach out and see if I could get her to come on and share her wisdom with you... as I know many of our RHT community members have little kids!

Unfortunately, the week we'd booked to record, in mid-March (very early on) - I got a text that read - "Really sorry, need to postpone, both my kids have covid and I'm taking one of them to the hospital today."

Fast-forward to now, late September, nearly 6 months (or 12 years - which is what it feels like) later, and we finally sat down to talk.

Click Here to hear the rest of that story, her experience (and research) the last 6 months as one of the most sought-after integrative pediatricians in the country, and other nuggets of wisdom that make this one of the most interesting discussions I've had in the series!

Wellness Optimization Series - Episode 10: A Pediatrician's First Hand Perspective on the Pandemic w/ Dr. Elisa Song - Rebel Health Tribe

Also, a little secret I'll let you in on... Dr. Song will be presenting as part of both new RHT Masterclasses that we're currently recording and producing - one on PANS, PANDAS, and Autism (these are a big focus of her practice), and on the rising epidemics of childhood autoimmune diseases she's also seeing in her practice.

I couldn't be more excited to have made this connection and finally gotten to introduce Dr. Song to you! (Thanks to Dr. Maya Shetreat for the intro!)

As is the format with these Wellness Optimization Series videos, it will be available, in full, with transcript, for your consumption enjoyment until Sunday night. After that, it will become part of the "course" (which contains the rest of the episodes), which is available for FREE if you'd like to add it to your library on the RHT site!

Click Here to check out the entire Wellness Optimization Series!

We're going to keep it at no cost for the time being in an effort to make sure this information is accessible to everyone who needs it - our way of being useful during this whole mess of a situation.

So head on over, check out this fun, informative, and emotional conversation with Dr. Elisa Song - and make sure to follow the links under the video to some awesome freebies that she is willing to share as well!

In health and happy kids,
