I’m writing this, because I’m grieving and I hope I might assist you or your family.

Please read this while you can, I can’t even say the whole name of this bug, without the email company stopping you from reading this.

Last wednesday my grandma Sallie at 86 died from C19…

My sister is currently positive, my brother-in-laws mom is in a touchy situation… Other members are positive but asymptomatic..

It’s a pretty intense time for my family…

My grandmother was amazing and had a long beautiful life. It is sad but I’m grateful she didn’t suffer much. She was older and had many pre-existing conditions.

That being said, lots of younger people with much less pre-existing conditions are struggling… and dying...

Personal Preparation is the KEY!​

Not avoidance, not a vaccine, not shut downs, etc.

I’ve been saying this since March, it’s not about IF you get it…

It’s WHEN you get it.​

I’m not afraid of C19 any more than I am driving to town.

I wear my mask and follow local laws. But I don't believe the hospital has anything that can help me more than what I can do before I need them.

My hope is that an email like this will help you not be afraid but also not be ignorant that this is real situation and your actions matter.

It’s not too late for you and your family to start now.

So here’s what my family is doing and what I suggest you look into.

Disclaimer:
this will NOT prevent you from getting C19 and these ideas don't treat it. If your breathing becomes an issue or your Sp02 drops to 90 or less get medical help right away. This is not medical advice, it is just my best ideas to help your body be as healthy as possible.

This is however based on extensive research and current clinical trials being run around the world.

Stage 1: Always Ready Plan (daily)​

  • 10,000 IU of Vit D3
  • 25,000 IU of Vitamin A (retinol form)
  • 200mg of Selenium
  • 3 grams of Vitamin C
  • 20-30mg of Zinc
  • 6.5mg of Iodine
  • Butyrate Supplement 500mg per day
  • Activated Enzymes 2-4 before bed (systemic)
  • 3-10mg of melatonin before bed

Stage 2: Exposure / 1st Symptoms​

  • 20,000 IU of Vit D3
  • 50,000 IU of Vitamin A (retinol form)
  • 200mg of Selenium
  • 5-10 grams of Vitamin C (to bowel tolerance)
  • 50-60mg of Zinc
  • 6.5mg of Iodine
  • Butyrate supplement 500mg 1 per day
  • Activated Enzymes 2-6 before bed (systemic) and 2-6 in AM before food (systemic)
  • 20mg of melatonin before bed
  • Glutathione or 3g of NAC + B-vitamins if you have it
  • Olive extract, Quercetin, Elderberry, or whatever other herbs you use
  • Increase probiotics, prebiotics, other support supplements

Stage 3: Symptoms Worsen (7 Days ONLY)​

  • 100,000 IU of Vit D3
  • 100,000 IU of Vitamin A (retinol form)
  • 400mg of Selenium
  • 5-15 grams of Vitamin C (to bowel tolerance)
  • 100mg of Zinc
  • 6.5mg of Iodine
  • Butyrate Supplement 500mg per day
  • Activated Enzymes 6 before bed (systemic) and 6 in AM before food (systemic)
  • 80mg of melatonin before bed (plus 20mg in AM, 20mg at lunch)
  • Glutathione or 3g of NAC if you have it
  • Olive extract, Quercetin, Elderberry, or whatever other herbs you use
  • Increase probiotics, prebiotics, other support supplements
After 7 days - Reduce D3, Vitamin A, Selenium in half

Each of these compounds has been shown to either be depleted under times of illness or has supportive research against upper respiratory illness.

If this is too much for you…​

I want you to focus on 3 areas.​

  1. Vitamin D3 - recent research shows 50-97% of severe cases have a level of less than 50ng/ml. There’s 16 studies in all showing improvements for better Vitamin D3 status. The UK government just started issuing it out to citizens. This study used 60,000 IU for first 7 days.
  2. Melatonin - Doris Loh and others having been saying since March higher dose melatonin is not toxic, not an issue, and possible life saving. Many clinical trials are underway. You can take up to 180mg a day (for short periods unless doing cancer treatments). A brand new clinical trial is rolling out now using 60mg at night, 40mg in AM.
  3. Vitamin C - 3-5g a day is a big deal in this fight and much more if you start to feel symptoms. Doris and others have written extensively and there’s plenty of research if you search for it

Where’s the PROOF?​

Doris Loh is a rock star and has plenty of links in the articles above if you are curious to follow the breadcrumbs.

I don’t have a research assistant or writing assistant and that’s why there’s not many supportive links to what I’m saying here. However I've personally read the research studies on each of these line items.

Hi Jimi,

BD's story in the field of EMF's and dirty electricity began almost 13 years ago.

'Whenever you're in business, there's a business story. And often, business starts with a personal story.'

So this is BD's personal story. Just after graduating, he got married, and together with his wife they moved from Montana to Hawaii, where they had their first child.

But a couple of years later, his wife tragically passed away in a car accident.

He was a single dad, with a very young child, so he decided to move back to Montana to be closer to family.

He bought a very functional, lovely home.

This home was right under the biggest power line in the city. This city had about 100,000 inhabitants, so the power lines were quite substantial.

At the time, BD didn't give the power lines a second thought.

The year went by and his son was doing a lot better, even at school, he got excellent grades.

Except the following year was not quite the same. His son started having trouble sleeping, was grumpy at school, anxious, missed days of school, his grades were slacking.

He was 'just not his normal self'.

'I truly felt at this point like I had failed my child, like I had failed my wife.'

At the time, BD was working for a company that made light bulbs that didn't 'dirty the electricity'.

Not for health concerns, but so the bulb remains cool, last's longer, and save's you money.

So when his son started having these acute and vague disorders, he began to investigate.

A light bulb went on in BDs head, ''his symptoms matched up with EHS, electromagnetic hypersensitivity. And I realized it was probably the power lines.''

His engineering background led him to research dirty electricity, to discover more about the things that are happening to and in the electricity that affect our biology, and how to make an electrical component set, to correct it.

"I spent the next decade of my life trying to save my child. And that has become, through personal experience, the main focus of my life in my 40s."

Today BD's son is a lot better, but this was not immediate. It has been a long journey, which has also led BD to do some remarkable work in the field of dirty electricity.

8 Foods That Will Lower Blood Pressure

Lifestyle changes for better health for people with high blood pressure often include a change in diet. Here are some of the best foods to add to your diet for lowering blood pressure. And because many of these foods are fiber-packed, they also lower cholesterol.

Asparagus. Researchers have found that potassium citrate, which asparagus contains, is as effective as taking a potassium supplement. Asparagus is also a natural diuretic, which rids the body of excess fluid, thereby reducing blood pressure.

Hawthorn tea. Just one cup a day of this tea can make a difference. It contains a beneficial flavonoid called proanthocyanidin, which causes the blood vessels to relax.

Oatmeal. To get the most cholesterol-lowering benefit, eat cooked, organic oatmeal, not the instant kind.

Blueberries. This berry’s natural pigment, anthocyanin, gives it its distinctive color while reducing high blood pressure. They also contain a form of pterostilbene, a relative of resveratrol, the beneficial chemical found in wine that’s also particularly helpful in blood pressure control.

Nonfat Yogurt. One study found those who ate more nonfat yogurt were 31% percent less likely to develop high blood pressure.

Sunflower Seeds. In addition to being high in vitamin E, folic acid, protein, and fiber, sunflower seeds also contain blood pressure-lowering magnesium.

Beetroot Juice. You can reap the benefit by drinking one 16-ounce glass of beetroot juice daily, which contains nitrates, a key to lowering blood pressure. If you don’t like beetroot or beetroot juice, celery, lettuce, spinach, and arugula are also nitrate-rich.

Potatoes. They often get a bad rap, but potatoes can actually help lower blood pressure because they are rich in potassium and magnesium. The key is that you must bake, boil, or microwave them — never fry. And forgo the butter, bacon, or sour cream. Just add a touch of olive oil and fresh herbs like parsley.

A few years ago, someone posted in our private group that she’s scared to go to her husband’s family holiday dinner because of the lack of support, ignorance, and mockery that she will face.
I started writing a supportive reply and realized this is worthy of a whole new blog post—this is how “You Don’t Need to Apologize at the Dinner Table” was created.
It’s not for the holidays only—any family gatherings can invoke these emotions.
Here are some practical tools to deal with family BS but also how to shift your own energy and mindset around critical, negative people who don’t understand the power of food and healing.
Because really, you should not apologize or feel bad for having chosen to honor your body.
  1. Share how you are feeling and why you are doing it.
  2. Ask for help and support.
  3. Validate their skepticism.
  4. Bring compassion—because it’s their fear, not yours.

Hi Jimi,

For many in the Western world, the shift to winter barely registers - except that maybe it's time to haul your heavy coat out of storage and turn up the dial on your thermostat.

However, when we carry on living the same way regardless of the season, we lose the opportunity to connect with nature... and with our deepest selves. Even though we can control the climate indoors, it's vital that we pay attention to the lessons that the earth is sharing with us outside.

For our ancestors the world over, the beginning of winter marked a sacred and deeply symbolic time. It's celebrated by many as winter solstice, and falls on the shortest, darkest day of the year - beginning our return to longer days.

Ancient cultures - like the Egyptians, the Maori, the Maya, the Celts, and so many others - all celebrated solstice in some form. In the Chinese Taoist tradition, winter solstice is considered the most yin (dark / feminine / damp) day of the calendar. Energy comes to a momentary point of pause, before it gives birth to yang (light / masculine / heat).

Yin and yang form the basis of Chinese medicine and according to this school of wisdom, one cannot exist without the other. These two seemingly opposite forces are intimately connected and complementary.

I love this concept. We need times of darkness, quietness, and stillness for healing and rest, as much as we need activity, noise, and light.

The winter solstice takes place tomorrow, Monday, December 21st, and I'll be taking time to rest (I may even nap!), nourish myself with warming, wholesome soup, and practice more yin activities: meditation, pranayama, and quiet walks outside with my family.

As a matter of fact, this year marks a very special winter solstice.

Mighty Jupiter and imposing Saturn will come into conjunction. Jupiter and Saturn are the two largest bodies in our solar system, and this Monday, they will appear only 0.1 degree apart - the closest they've been observed together by the naked eye since 1226.

We Polizzi's plan to snuggle under a blanket together outside watching this mind-blowing sight! Some astronomers suggest the proximity of these two celestial bodies may even appear as a bright Christmas star, pouring starlight down on us.

Like solstice, this Jupiter-Saturn conjunction holds deep symbolism. Ancient and modern astrologers often associate Jupiter with the forces of light and good, and Saturn with the forces of darkness. Saturn is the bringer of rules, regulations, and tradition - while Jupiter represents blessings, new ways of seeing and being, and spiritual insights.

The fact that this historical conjunction is taking place on winter solstice compounds the momentousness of this day! Who knows? This could be the birth of a new era...

I don't know about you, but I certainly feel ready to welcome a positive transformation for humanity and for this beautiful earth we all cherish.

I was getting dinner ready on Thursday night, feeling tired and sore after an acupuncture session and feeling hot and stuffy with the stove on in our small kitchen. Jesse got home and immediately started digging through his drawers, explaining that there was a homeless woman in the bus shelter next to our house and that she was wearing a skirt, in the snow and sub-zero temperatures.

He wanted to give her some sweatpants, and we quickly threw together a bag of pants, a sweater, a scarf and mitts, and an old pair of winter boots, since she was just wearing sneakers. Looking out the window while he took the bag down to her, I watched as she got dressed, outside, in a bus shelter, in the snow. And here I was, moments before, grumbling about the after-effects of my acupuncture treatment and feeling TOO HOT in my apartment, while this woman froze in a skirt outside just feet away. I was suddenly struck by the sheer volume of stuff that we have, by the total abundance in my life, and I just felt so, so grateful. But I couldn't help but be filled with a deep sadness too and a feeling of unfairness. How can it be that some have so much while others have so little?

It's a question I can't answer, but Jesse's actions reminded me that what I can do is keep sharing what I have with others. And this reminds me of yet another ethic from the Anishinaabe code; it's a simple one:

"Share your good fortune with others."

And it doesn't have to be a sharing of material possessions. We all have things that we can share: our time, our knowledge, our support, our comfort. It's always been my goal with Orenda to help others coming up the cancer path after me and to hopefully make it a little easier for them. It brings meaning and positivity to the challenges we're met with to use what we've learned as a result of facing them to support others who face them next.

One of the toughest years in a long time is coming to a close, and sharing what we have, whether that's material possessions or our time and experience, will make an upsetting and difficult year a little better, for others and for us. It brings perspective to the challenges we are facing; even when it comes to cancer, for many of us things could be worse, and there is often someone for whom things are worse. Share your good fortune with others, and when you're the one in need, have faith that someone will be there to share with you.

Mental Health Monday​

Where did that year go? The longest and also somehow the shortest yet for me. Since being diagnosed and starting Orenda, so much has gone on each year that I feel the need to unpack it at the end, and I've started doing what I call an end-of-year reflective practice. It's basically setting aside time to think about what's changed, whether I like those changes and how I can address them if I don't, what I want to change in the coming year, what I'm most grateful for from this past year, and what I wish for for the new year. In this week's MHM vlog, I'm offering four tips or activities for starting your own reflective practice and some ways that you can express your reflections other than in writing in case writing isn't your thing.

It's been a doooooozy of a year, #2020, but in the years that are extra tough it becomes even more important to take time to reflect on all that's happened, process it more thoroughly if we haven't had a chance to yet, remind ourselves that there has still been good even with all of the bad, and to fix our sights on better days to come. My sweetheart, Dori was filmed in the recent docu series The Answer to Cancer where she shared her story of experiencing Ovarian Cancer.

Normally, I don't send emails this time of the week, or with the information you're about to see. In this case, I felt I must. I consider you my friends, family, and loyal community. This weekend I have an incredibly informative 2-part podcast for you with Cammy Benton, MD, who is a board certified family and functional medicine doctor and a specialist in vaccine science.

After several adverse reactions in her children, Dr. Benton dedicated many years analyzing the science on vaccines. In these two episodes, she’s talking about vaccine efficacy and risks, flu vaccines, ‘anti-vaxxers’ vs. 'ex-vaxxers', debunking myths and misconceptions about vaccines, and more.
