I went to my doctor yesterday for my annual physical. Other than being old and fat I'm doing ok. I requested a covid antibody test and will get the results next week. I need every weapon in my arsenal as my company will follow Biden's jab mandate.

With my travel schedule and the fact that I will only wear a mask when required the odds of me being exposed to the Wuhan flu is pretty big. I eat in bars and restaurants that are fully open with no mask requirements. The only illness I've had since March of 2020 was what I thought was a head cold in March 2020. That very well could have been a mild case of the rona. If so, I have natural immunity and have no need for the jab as study after study say that natural immunity is many times stronger than any of the jabs.

I need every weapon in my arsenal as my company will follow Biden's jab mandate.
Sorry to hear this my friend, hope you can find some way around it. That would be a tough choice but I would have to give a job up if they mandated the poison dart.

You have to give yourself the time to feel the emotions. Scream. Cry all you want. Punch a pillow. Do whatever you feel you need to do.

Know that the way you’re feeling now won’t last forever. You have to feel it to heal it. Once you have had some time, you can allow yourself to move on.

Be kind and understanding to yourself as you go through difficult emotions.

MIRACLES​

My mom has just the most incredible garden. It has grown in size over the years, now sprawling over the back corner of their property and giving life to an astounding number of veggies. She has even started growing a winter garden, and they can now enjoy fresh greens throughout almost the entire winter.

I remember when she first took us out to proudly show us the knee-high metal arches, covered and forming long little greenhouse-like tunnels down the length of her garden. It had snowed recently - which it does a lot where they live, about 35 minutes south of Blue Mountain - and we used brooms to brush off the tops of the tunnels so that they wouldn’t collapse onto the green sprouts beneath. She lifted up a corner of one of the covers and we each took turns peeking underneath in surprise and wonder at the bright leaves just starting to emerge from what should have been frozen ground. If it wasn’t for the deep snow and the silence of winter surrounding us, it would have been easy to pretend that it was summer while looking down those runnels of green.

It felt like a miracle that anything could be growing there.

We think of winter as a time of quiet and hibernation, where growing and new life is put on hold while nature pauses for a few months and gathers her strength for spring. But adaptation and perspective shifts create new opportunities, like the ability to grow something while surrounded by snowbanks.

There is never a colder time than when we are faced with something like cancer. It feels like our lives are put on pause, and we’re forced to pick up the pieces of what was once a normal, happy life. But something beautiful and new and unexpected can emerge from the times that at first seem to be the most barren and stark that we have ever found ourselves in. I personally have grown more in the winter of cancer than in the summer of my brightest days.

Wonder and magic and miracles surround us, they are just sometimes really hard to see when we are focused on the ice and snow that pile more prominently on top of them. Take a deep breath, focus on my reminder that where there is life there is hope, and grab a broom. Sweep away the snow and take a peek at what is revealed underneath. You may just find more hope and more life than you ever could have imagined was hiding there.

And remember, miracles happen every day.

I have gotten to the bottom of it and will be posting it next week, so instead for MHM this week, I shared another FREE event that is happening online from Monday, September 27th to Friday, October 1st.

The Gratitude Builds Fortitude Summit is bringing together 30 of the leading women in autoimmune disease, chronic illness, and mindset. Don't get so preoccupied with thinking about your problems that you forget to be grateful, and to experience goodness in the moment.
