Here’s a few things I’m doing:

  1. Post:The Truth About Chocoloate, Cacao, and Carob. I’ve always been confused by chocolate vs. cocoa vs. cacao, and their supposed health benefits. This blog post clears it all up nicely, and shows which one you should be using for its health benefits. Click here to read the post.
  2. Quote:“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” - Naval Ravikant. Naval made this statement in response to the latest social media uproar over God-knows-what. He’s noting that the Outrage Economy is predicated on getting you to care about the latest happenings and engage. It’s a game, and even a business model for some. They are trying to get you to engage in an argument simply for clicks, page views, and likes. And the prizes for winning that game are maybe momentary feelings of “Oh yeah, I showed them!!” seems pretty stupid right?
  3. Product: Biocidin. I have two little kids that are constantly in some state of sickness. They go to school and daycare and come back sneezing, coughing and with noses running. Being a busy parent and business owner, I just don’t have time to be sick. Whenever I feel something coming on, I take a few squirts of this stuff and it’s gone. It’s expensive, but worth every penny. One bottle will last months.
  4. Recipe of the day: Paleo Peanut Butter Cups. Speaking of chocolate… We eat a diet that I would call ‘dirty keto’. We never consume refined sugar, and often use stevia as sweeteners. But we (and especially our kids) often crave treats, so this was perfect for a delicious sweet treat. There’s no baking involved! Paleo peanut butter cup recipe.

Everything we call “aging” is really just inflammation.
Wrinkly skin?

Lots of people online say that free radicals cause inflammation.

The Cancer Cash Cow

Cancer—a word that strikes fear into the hearts of many—is not just a disease; it's a multi-billion-dollar industry. In 2023, global spending on cancer medicines reached $223 billion, marking a $25 billion increase from 2022. This expenditure is projected to grow significantly, potentially reaching $409 billion by 2028.

Let’s talk about cancer treatments. You know, the ones that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, make you vomit your guts out, lose your hair, and leave you so weak you can barely function. Chemotherapy and radiation are the gold standard, right? Well, what if we told you there are cheap, widely available, and far less toxic drugs that have shown remarkable promise in treating cancer—drugs like ivermectin and fenbendazole? But wait, you won’t hear about these from your oncologist. Why? Because Big Pharma can’t make billions off drugs that cost pennies, and Big Pharma owns medical education in the USA! That’s why!

Let’s dive into the science and the scandal of why these treatments are being ignored while the “cancer industrial complex” keeps pushing its toxic, profit-driven agenda.

Ivermectin: Not Just for Horses and Parasites

Ivermectin, the drug that became a household name during the COVID-19 pandemic (and was promptly demonized by the media, has been quietly making waves in cancer research. According to a study published in Frontiers in Pharmacology, ivermectin exhibits anti-cancer properties by targeting multiple pathways involved in tumor growth and survival. It inhibits the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, which is crucial for cancer cell proliferation, and induces apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells while sparing healthy ones.

A 2021 study in Anticancer Research found that ivermectin significantly reduced the viability of breast cancer cells and enhanced the efficacy of conventional chemotherapy drugs. Another study in The Moss Report highlighted its ability to disrupt cancer cell metabolism and inhibit angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels that feed tumors).

But hey, why use a cheap, well-tolerated drug when you can pump patients full of expensive, toxic chemo cocktails?

Fenbendazole and Mebendazole: Dewormers That Deworm Cancer

Fenbendazole and mebendazole are anti-parasitic drugs commonly used to treat worms in animals and humans. But guess what? They also have potent anti-cancer properties. A groundbreaking study published in PMC (PubMed Central) demonstrated that fenbendazole disrupts cancer cell metabolism by inhibiting glucose uptake and microtubule formation, effectively starving cancer cells to death.

The same study showed that fenbendazole, when combined with vitamin E and a high-fat diet, significantly reduced tumor growth in mice. Similarly, mebendazole has been shown to inhibit glioblastoma (brain cancer) by targeting cancer stem cells and disrupting their ability to proliferate.

But wait, there’s more! A 2023 article in Natural News highlighted the synergistic pairing of ivermectin and fenbendazole, which together create a powerful anti-cancer protocol. This combination has been shown to enhance apoptosis, inhibit tumor growth, and even prevent metastasis.

Yet, despite this mounting evidence, these drugs remain on the sidelines, relegated to the realm of “alternative” treatments. Why? Because they’re cheap, unpatentable, and don’t require a team of specialists to administer.

The Human Cost of Ignoring Evidence

While Big Pharma counts its profits, real people are suffering. Chemotherapy and radiation are brutal, often leaving patients with lifelong side effects and no guarantee of a cure. Consider the case of Joe Tippens, a stage 4 lung cancer patient who was given months to live. After stumbling upon fenbendazole, he decided to give it a try. Within months, his tumors had shrunk significantly, and he went into remission. His story, detailed on Cancer Choices, is just one of many anecdotal accounts of these drugs’ potential.

Enter Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a vocal advocate for medical freedom and alternative treatments. Kennedy has pledged to prioritize funding and support for clinical trials on repurposed drugs like ivermectin and fenbendazole for cancer treatment. His commitment to breaking Big Pharma’s stranglehold on healthcare could finally bring these promising therapies into the mainstream. With advocates like RFK Jr. pushing for transparency and innovation in medicine, there’s hope that these trials could finally get the attention and funding they deserve.

The question is: will the medical establishment embrace this shift, or will they continue to protect their profits at the expense of patients?

The answer could determine the future of cancer treatment—and countless lives.

Lower Blood Pressure May Prevent Dementia

A recent study suggests strict control of hypertension may help prevent dementia.

Researchers at the U.S. National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) used MRIs to scan the brains of hundreds of patients with high blood pressure.

They found that people who got "intensive" control of their high blood pressure showed a slowing of accumulation of certain lesions in the brain's white matter, compared to people who got "standard" blood pressure treatment.

Prior research has suggested that people with high blood pressure are at increased risk for accumulation of white matter lesions and also for mental decline and dementia.

The study also found that patients who received intensive blood pressure control had slightly more loss of the brain's volume, compared to people who got standard treatment. The effect was seen predominantly in men.

Dear Jimi,
Our goal with the XY Wellness Diet, along with our nutraceutical regimens, is to transform what you consume into a powerful weapon against cancer, and in the process introduce you to the joy of preparing and eating real food. In order for it to work, it needs to be sustainable. In other words, no room for militancy here, but plenty of room for you to better understand the tradeoffs that you make with every dietary choice that you make, and with this awareness choose what makes best sense for you.

Why is Diet such a critical element in the XY Wellness approach to health? Let’s first reflect back on what we felt when initially diagnosed. As we know, a diagnosis of cancer is disorienting. Suddenly our life and future feel less within our control than the moment before we heard those words. Although we already knew that much of life is beyond our control, this was a blunt, unwelcome reminder. With this in mind, we at least know we have control over what we put into our body. When it comes to our diet, there are foods that will boost our ability to fight disease, just as there are foods that will actively fuel the disease. The reality is that our dietary choices are either part of the solution or part of the problem. Taking full control of our own nutrition is one way that we can make an immediate difference. We are the "captain of our own ship" in this fight against cancer, but we are going to have to work at it.

As always, it is not a question of “if” we can do it, but of how quickly and effectively we can make some new, savvy habits a way of life. In this series on the XY Wellness Diet, we are going to examine what needs to be done, and are going to acquire the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed. The rest is up to us. Let’s be clear: we are not proposing a deprivation diet, but are instead proposing just the opposite.

We’ll now just give you a preview, and then something that you can start with today even prior to working your way through the more detailed guidance. Using this preview, you will be able to dive into any and all of the following core principles of the XY Wellness Diet:

  1. Cancer-fighting: is abundant in phytonutrients that actively inhibit cancer growth

  1. Immune system boosting: is rich in antioxidants and immune system enhancers

We know that chronic inflammation poses a material risk to our health and our ability to combat disease, and we know that we can reduce our exposure to inflammatory agents by simply making smarter dietary and lifestyle choices. To demonstrate how dietary choices either boost or tax our body, as a challenge, do your best to avoid three well-known dietary sources of inflammation, and see how you feel. What are the three? They are sugar, dairy and gluten. Give it a try. It is not as difficult as you might think. For now, and as always, proceed at a pace that you can sustain. Success comes down to making smart choices daily and to committing yourself to doing what is necessary. This copycat recipe is spot on! Fresh romaine lettuce tossed in a delicious homemade Italian vinaigrette, topped with dried cranberries, candied walnuts, gorgonzola, and Granny Smith apples!

Listen, I have a rough history with salad in general. I’m a meat-and-potatoes-girl at heart. But this Green Goddess Salad makes my heart sing in a way I didn’t even know was possible! It’s packed with fresh herbs, crunchy greens, and an unbelievably creamy (and vividly green) dressing. It’s especially transcendent when you add crushed salt and vinegar chips on top (I mean, hello? I think I would like every salad better this way??)
