After being begged by a patient in extreme pain, who no other doctor could help, Dr. Yoni Whitten devoted himself to finding the key to pain recovery.

What he discovered were 3 secrets to becoming pain-free, all of which could be done by people with any level of pain, without doctors, drugs, or surgery.

He also found some startling information.

1. The doctor's conventional approach to pain treatment is fatally flawed, and has no chance of working.

2. The NSAIDs that are often prescribed lack any evidence that they work, and kill tens of thousands of people each year.

3. Opioids don't work for pain either, and during the opioid prescription hey day, they actually pushed back pain rates up 260%.

4. Bed rest for pain has no therapeutic value, and is actually extremely harmful and delays recovery.

This data has been published in multiple medical journals over the past 3 decades (he will show you the evidence) but they still give this bad advice.

Dr. Yoni Whitten also uncovered evidence for the underlying cause of pain.

It turns out that modern living is the perfect recipe for creating pain.

We use escalators and lifts instead of stairs.

We sit at computers for work instead of doing physical jobs.

We watch TV or use our phones instead of traditional entertainment.

In the past we needed to move - to build shelter, to make fires for cooking, to hunt, gather, or harvest our food, and to work for a living.

Now, we sit down for everything and press buttons, even for cooking.

Statistically, there is 400% more back pain in developed countries.

And there is ample evidence that the modern sedentary life is the cause.

In fact, sitting is the #1 cause of back pain, no matter what position you sit in.

Pain is a warning signal to the real danger: Posture Prolapse Syndrome.

Today, this damaging forward head posture is seen in up to 70% of humans.

Apart from pain, it causes everything from carpal tunnel syndrome, to fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue.

It takes a lot of energy to hold the body in these inefficient positions.

Same with typing at a computer, as we were not designed to sit and hold our arms out in front of us, so it drains our energy, and ruins our posture.

In fact, this developed forward neck posture reduces our lung capacity by 30%, which is the same as a person at an altitude of 11,000 feet.

Furthermore, studies show that forward head posture makes us 2.5x more likely to develop atherosclerosis, and twice as likely to die from lung disease.

Even Killer Whales in captivity suffer from Posture Prolapse Syndrome.

In the wild, they have straight dorsal fins, with 1% having a bent one.

But for the males in places like Sea World, 100% of them suffer from it.

Without natural movement, the body develops unnatural postures, and this eventually leads to problems with chronic pain.

After discovering this underlying cause of all chronic pain issues, Dr. Yoni Whitten's research led him to the solution that all pain sufferers search for.

He presents the solutions in his brilliant, jam-packed-with-proof webinar:

3 Secrets to become Pain-Free, without Doctors, Drugs, or Surgery

He will share how he uncovered the holy grail of pain resolution, which was surprisingly published in the medical journals (and ignored) back in 1993.

You'll learn simple movements that can decrease back pain in as little 10 minutes, reduce migraine intensity, and decrease joint pain by up to 70%.

Plus a powerful technique that will reduce ANY type of pain immediately, no matter where the pain is in the body.

The techniques don't just help with pain, but improve your posture, make you appear more youthful, and unlock a rarely spoken hidden secret to longevity.

Dr. Yoni Whitten will also introduce you to his famous Pain Fix Protocol: A specific action plan to eliminate pain permanently, for the rest of your life.

Webinar registrations for 3 Secrets to become Pain-Free, without Doctors, Drugs, or Surgery are now open, as it launches on Thursday.

Make sure you don't miss this one. Click the button below to register.

Today, my conversation with Joe Rogan is live, and my newest book, Biological Elegance, is now available.

Both the podcast and the book hold the same invitation: to become curious again about life, intelligence, and what the human body may be capable of remembering.

There is something ancient and regenerative in our return to conversation. Information embodied by one human, offered to another, reflected back, changed in shared presence.

No expectation of where it must go. Only the willingness to remain curious long enough for something real to emerge in the field between us.

Bee Hummingbird

The bee hummingbird of Cuba is the smallest bird on Earth. Grown adults stretch just over two inches from beak to tail and weigh less than a dime. They are so tiny that people can mistake them for a bumblebee. Their wings blur through the air at around 80 beats a second, fast enough to hover in place, fly backward, and even stop in midair.
Living at that size uses a surprising amount of energy. A single bee hummingbird can visit hundreds of flowers in a day, sipping nectar to keep their racing metabolism going, and they carry pollen from bloom to bloom as they feed. So this bird, small enough to sit on your fingertip, may be one of the hardest-working pollinators in its habitat. Pretty cool for something that weighs about as much as two paperclips.

Good smoke, bad smoke

Most summers, you smell it before you see it.
Out here in Montana we get a stretch every summer where the light goes flat and orange, the mountains fade into gray silhouettes. Smoke season is pretty common these days. If you live anywhere in the West, you know the feeling. But it’s certainly not been limited to the West, as of late. Rather than panic or to shrug and push through oblivious, there's a middle path: knowing what's in the air, when to act, and why any of this is happening in the first place.
So what's actually in the haze?
The thing that matters most in wildfire smoke is a fine particle called PM2.5, roughly thirty times smaller than a human hair. Those particles slip past your nose and throat, go deep in your lungs, and can cross into your bloodstream, where they can stir up trouble for your heart as much as your lungs. The American Lung Association has a short, clear video on how that works if you want the two-minute version. Kids, older folks, anyone with asthma or a heart condition, and our pets all feel it sooner and harder, so they're the ones to watch when the sky turns to smoke.
Making your home a pocket of clean air
Here's the practical part…Before anything else, check your local number.

Hi Jimi,
One study found that people who ate at least a golf ball's weight of allium vegetables per week had a 64% lower risk of cardiovascular disease compared with those who ate almost none.
That's onions, garlic, leeks, shallots, and chives, which are some of the most affordable and flavorful foods in any kitchen.

Making Orange Juice Healthy Again and Saving Taxpayers More Than $1 Billion — Your MAHA Media Hub Recap

mail
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced in Florida this past Friday that the FDA will eliminate outdated regulations that have made orange juice sweeter, more processed, and increasingly reliant on imports.
Americans deserve healthy orange juice made from American grown oranges, and this change will help support the farmers who grow them.
Secretary Kennedy and CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz also announced a major crackdown on Medicaid fraud, pausing more than $1 billion in federal Medicaid payments to Minnesota and California after both states failed to demonstrate the funds were being used for the purposes they were billed.
Taxpayer dollars should never be lost to fraud, especially when those funds are intended to care for some of our nation's most vulnerable Americans.
At this week's MAHA™ Media Hub, we heard from a diverse group of leaders and experts discussing everything from the upcoming Fauci hearing to the growing use of GLP-1 drugs in children.
Senator Rand Paul discussed his upcoming hearing with Dr. Anthony Fauci next Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET, where he said nothing will be off limits as Fauci testifies publicly under oath.
Dr. Eric Berg warned about the rapidly growing use of GLP-1 drugs in children, explaining that we still do not understand the long term consequences of these medications.
Lily Tang Williams, MAHA Action's endorsed candidate for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District, reflected on growing up under communism and warned that many of the same warning signs are appearing in America, including attacks on medical freedom during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last week, I asked a simple question on social media:

"What made you lose trust in a doctor?"

I wasn't prepared for the response.

More than 7,000 people shared their stories.

Some talked about being told their symptoms were "just anxiety."

Others described years of being dismissed before finally receiving a diagnosis.

Some said they felt rushed through appointments.

Others said no one listened.

As a physician, those stories are difficult to read.

Because while I know most doctors truly want to help, I also know something important:

People don't just want answers. They want to feel heard.

And when you don't understand what's happening in your own body, it's hard to know what questions to ask, what tests to request, or when to seek a second opinion.

That's one of the reasons I wrote my Health Protocol Guide.

No, it isn't a substitute for seeing your doctor.

And it isn't meant to diagnose or treat anything.

What it can do is help you learn about the lifestyle factors that influence your health, and walk into your next appointment feeling more informed and prepared to advocate for yourself.

The more you understand your own body, the better conversations you can have with your healthcare team.

If you've ever left an appointment feeling confused, unheard, or unsure of what to do next, I think you'll find this guide helpful.

Garden healing goes beyond the herbs you grow.

Could planting and tending a garden be medicine in itself?

When Brandon Ruiz joined Mimi Prunella and I on HerbMentor Radio this month, his stories transported us straight into the garden. We could almost smell the rich earth after rain, hear bees pollinating blossoms, and feel the healing that comes from getting our hands in the soil.
If you've been craving a little more connection - to plants, to place, or to community - this conversation is for you.
You'll be enchanted by stories of Brandon's grandparents’ gardens in Puerto Rico and inspired by the cultural richness of the Norris Square Neighborhood Project in Philadelphia where he now helps cultivate herbs, food, art, culture, and belonging.
Brandon is a community herbalist, educator, urban farmer, and author whose work beautifully weaves gardening, foraging, and community. His work is deeply informed by his Puerto Rican heritage and his passion for connecting people to plants, place, and one another.
Over the years, Brandon has led projects that expand access to herbal knowledge, culturally meaningful foods, and medicinal plants through community gardens and education. Today, he continues that work in North Philadelphia, supporting youth programs, public art, food cultivation, herbalism, and the celebration of Puerto Rican culture.
His newest book, How to Forage for Medicinal Plants Without Dying, helps beginners safely and confidently build relationships with the healing plants growing all around them.
In our interview with him you’ll learn about:
  • What makes a garden a rich and healing space
  • How plants and gardening can bring people together in unexpected ways
  • Some of the many gifts of tulsi, mugwort, and other garden herbs
  • Why it’s important to set an intention before you harvest
This was one of those conversations that lingers long after it's over. Brandon's love of plants is deeply contagious, and don't be surprised if you find yourself planning a garden, wandering your neighborhood in search of herbs, or texting a friend to come help you dig a new garden bed before the episode ends.
Happy gardening!

Hidden Medical Issues That Can Develop Later in Life

Hidden Health Risks That Increase With Age
Aging brings wisdom and experience, but it also introduces health risks that often go unnoticed until they become serious.
While some changes are expected, others develop silently and can impact daily life before symptoms appear. The body undergoes shifts in metabolism, immune function, and organ efficiency, making it more vulnerable to certain conditions.

Cause Is Not Cure by Dr. Eric Gordon
"Root cause" is the phrase everyone reaches for, but in complex chronic illness, we find it's rarely the thing that restores full health. The longer a body compensates for a problem, the more it reorganizes around it, metabolically, immunologically, neurologically. Until removing the original trigger barely moves the needle.

In our latest article, Dr. Eric Gordon shares what 40 years of practice have taught him: it's not finding the root cause that restores health, it's understanding and addressing the compensations the body builds along the way.

The fix isn't finding the cause faster; it's understanding what the body rebuilt in the meantime.

Hello There

One of the questions I hear most often is, "What does a typical day of eating look like on AIP?"

I'm always experimenting in my own kitchen, looking for ways to make nutrient-dense meals easier, more affordable, and practical for real life.

My latest obsession is an instant Modified AIP protein porridge that takes just a few minutes to make, packs 40 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber, and is perfect for meal prep or travel.

I recently shared the recipe on Instagram, and it quickly became one of my most-requested recipes.

Recipe: Instant Grain-Free Protein Porridge (Modified AIP)
This has become one of my favorite breakfasts because it's incredibly quick, easy to prep ahead, and keeps me full for hours.

Ingredients (1 serving)
  • ¼ cup quinoa flakes
  • 35 g pea protein
  • 3 tsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
To Serve
  • Add hot water until you reach your desired consistency, stir well, and let sit for 2–3 minutes to thicken.
  • Top with fresh berries, coconut yogurt, or your favorite Modified AIP toppings.
Notes
  • Approximately 40 g protein and 12 g fiber per serving.
  • I like to mix several servings into small jars at the beginning of the week so breakfast is ready to go. Just add hot water, stir, and enjoy.
  • For a different flavor profile, swap the quinoa flakes for buckwheat flakes. If you have introduced GF quick oats, you can use those too.
I hope you enjoy the recipe—and one (or more!) of these conversations.
See you next week with a brand-new episode of the Autoimmune Wellness Podcast!

All too often, we hear people leaving raw food or plant-based eating because they weren’t sure how to handle some of the questions or challenges that may come up.

In 2008, researchers at Columbia University published a study done to identify the best predictors of adherence to a raw plant-based diet following a stay at a raw food health center. Education was found to be THE most important factor in people sticking with the program after they went back into the ‘real world’.

Over the years, so many of our students have shared with us that education was indeed the single most important factor in their decision to continue with their raw food or plant-based diets when they came to these crossroads.

We are honored when we hear from them that our classes gave them the information and perspective to be confident in their dietary choices, make sense of contradictory information, and find answers to their questions.

With our collective research, clinical, teaching, and personal experience of nearly 70 years, we want to help you get the education, support, and inspiration you need to reach your health and life goals!

Image

For this reason, we are offering you the opportunity to speak with us about our online Mastering Raw Food Nutrition course. Mastering Raw Food Nutrition is our signature, time-tested, year-long curriculum we have been teaching online and in-person for over 20 years and our next class starts on August 26, 2026.

Are you just getting started with raw food or plant-based eating and want to begin with a strong educational foundation or have you been on this path for years and want to take your knowledge to the next level and beyond for a lifetime of health?

If so, we encourage you to schedule a time now to speak with us to see if our course is a good fit for you:

Synthetic Biology Just Took a Big Step. We’re Watching Where It Goes Next.

Synthetic biologists are one step closer to building life from scratch. They’ve just created a fully synthetic “SpudCell” that can feed, grow, and reproduce. Science like this rarely stays in the lab for long. It tends to end up in food, whether that was the intent at creation. And when it does, federal regulators aren’t doing anything to stop it. The only hope we have is for state lawmakers to draw the line.

Several states have taken action to ban lab-grown (cell-cultured) meat, but most of the synbio industry’s Frankenfoods are slipping past them: molds marketed as imitation meat (Quorn, MyForest); fake egg whites, whey, and blood made from genetically modified microorganisms (The Every Company, Perfect Day, The Impossible Burger); and lab-grown chocolate (Mondelez, Celleste).

These aren’t first-generation GMOs. Today, instead of modifying microorganisms with natural genes extracted from different organisms (like Monsanto’s rBGH), they use synthetic DNA. This technique was invented by Craig Venter in 2010 and appropriated by Monsanto in 2013 when it acquired an equity stake in Venter’s Synthetic Genomics.

Food made with GMO microbes may be toxic or trigger allergies. Back in the 1980s when Showa Denko decided to produce its tryptophan supplement with genetically engineered bacteria, 37 people died and 1500 were permanently disabled.

But they’re completely unregulated. Synbio GMOs enter our food through the FDA’s “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS) loophole.

There’s no safety review. Companies simply declare their own products GRAS, and even that is voluntary. Food-safety lawyers argue this violates the 1958 Food Additives Law, but they haven’t won that fight in court.

Now the technology is leaping forward again. This summer, University of Minnesota researchers unveiled “SpudCell”, the first synthetic cell built entirely from non-living molecules that can feed, grow, and divide. It isn’t alive, and it isn’t anywhere near your grocery store. But it shows how fast this field is moving.

ORGANIC & LOCAL AGRICULTURE

Planting Seeds in Times of Darkness

by Winona LaDuke, Minnesota Women’s Press:
“Our prophecies as Anishinaabeg speak of this time as that of the Seventh and Eighth Fire. We are told that we will have a choice between a scorched path and a green path. We must take the green path if we are to survive and to light the Eighth Fire of peace. Those teachings have implications for all of us. Here are a few of those teachings.
Seeds are our future, yet, in the world of globalized agriculture, things are not looking good. One out of four farmers this year will not be buying fertilizer, and more farms will go under. That’s a price of war. This will be a challenge for food that most of us will eat, and this is also a moment to grow, without the chemicals of war and conflict.
This is the time to nourish and replenish soil, not scorch it with additives that end in -cide, the word of death: pesticide, fungicide, homicide, genocide. Believe in life.
Our awareness of this crisis is opportunity. It enables us to reaffirm relationship with soils through organic and local agriculture and rethink how we treat ‘dirt.’”
We can follow the instructions of our ancestors and guiding forces like Sitting Bull, who told us that if we put our minds together, we can make a good future for our children.

SOIL HEALTH

Fertilizers Carry a Hidden Cost for Soil’s Crucial Microbes – Using Less as Prices Rise Might Pay off for Farms in Unexpected Ways

Esther Ndumi Ngumbi, The Conversation:

Across North America, in places such as Illinois, Iowa and Texas, farmers are busy growing the crops the world depends on for food, fuel and fiber.

But as their tractors roll across fields, a pressing concern weighs heavily on many farmers: the rising cost of synthetic fertilizers, widely considered essential for crop production.

After an expensive spring, with the war in Iran restricting fertilizer and petroleum shipments and raising prices, farmers may be wondering whether they can cut back on fertilizer now and in the future to save money.

The answer has a lot to do with a hidden world beneath our feet, where billions of soil-dwelling, beneficial microbes help sustain productive, resilient and healthy crops and agricultural systems.

As a researcher working to uncover the hidden roles of beneficial soil microbes and understand how they improve crop productivity and strengthen plants’ resilience against drought and insect pests.”

Cutting down on fertilizers is not a bad thing. In fact, studies suggest that using less fertilizer can boost this natural workforce.

BILLIONS AGAINST BAYER

Glyphosate Is Making Wildfire Season Worse

by Danielle Enblom, Organic Consumers Association:
As wildfire smoke blankets North America, most of the conversation focuses on climate and drought. But there’s a factor nobody is talking about: glyphosate.
Every year, thousands of hectares of public forest land are sprayed with glyphosate-based herbicides to clear the way for commercially valuable conifers, eliminating the aspen and birch groves that act as natural firebreaks and keep flames low to the ground. The result is a more uniform, more flammable forest.
Read our new article to find out what’s happening in Canada and the United States, why the fight just got harder, and what you can do about it.

BAN TOXIC PFAS

New York Just Sued 3M and DuPont Over PFAS. Good. It’s About Time.

For fifty years these companies knew forever chemicals were toxic. DuPont tracked pregnant workers back in the 1980s, found babies born with defects, and buried the study. They never told the workers or the regulators. They just kept making and selling the toxic forever chemicals that build up in your body, never break down and have worked their way into rivers, farmland, food packaging and all living things.
Attorney General Letitia James wants them to pay for cleanup and warn people going forward. Meanwhile the same companies, and their competitors, are still getting new PFAS approved for use on our food today.
Read the full story on the lawsuit here.
New York’s lawsuit is about cleaning up damage that’s already done. Meanwhile the same companies, and their competitors, are still getting new PFAS pesticides approved for our food. Tell your state legislators to ban PFAS pesticides before this needs a courtroom too.

SUPPORT OCA & RI

We Warned You About GMOs. We Warned You About Glyphosate. Now We Are Watching This.

Researchers at the University of Minnesota just built “SpudCell,” a synthetic cell made from non-living material that can feed itself, grow, and divide.
It’s not in our food yet. But lab breakthroughs like this, and whatever gets made from this kind of technology down the road, are not regulated, and often show up in the grocery aisle before we know it or anyone is paying attention.
We’ve spent years pushing for organic standards, GMO food labeling, and raising the warning flag about chemicals like glyphosate and atrazine. Most people didn’t realize the impact until it was already in our water and showing up in our bodies. But followers of the OCA have had a heads up for decades, knowing that choosing organic is the safest way to navigate our food system, as well as save the planet.
We believe in the precautionary principle and are committed to watching synthetic biology closely and putting out early warnings as it moves further into our food system.
Please chip in and help us push states to protect us while there’s still time to ask questions, before these new lab creations are something we’re being served without even knowing it.

NEW RESEARCH

The Mere Presence of One’s Own Smartphone Reduces Available Cognitive Capacity

Adrian F. Ward ,Kristen Duke, Ayelet Gneezy and Maarten W. Bos, The University of Chicago Press Journals:

“We all understand the joys of our always-wired world—the connections, the validations, the laughs … the info. … But we are only beginning to get our minds around the costs.

Our smartphones enable—and encourage—constant connection to information, entertainment, and each other. They put the world at our fingertips, and rarely leave our sides. Although these devices have immense potential to improve welfare, their persistent presence may come at a cognitive cost. In this research, we test the ‘brain drain’ hypothesis that the mere presence of one’s own smartphone may occupy limited-capacity cognitive resources, thereby leaving fewer resources available for other tasks and undercutting cognitive performance.

Results from two experiments indicate that even when people are successful at maintaining sustained attention—as when avoiding the temptation to check their phones—the mere presence of these devices reduces available cognitive capacity. Moreover, these cognitive costs are highest for those highest in smartphone dependence.”

The authors conclude by discussing the practical implications of this smartphone-induced brain drain for consumer decision-making and consumer welfare.

Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Foods

Dr. Gary Small, M.D., writes:

Although inflammation is a key function of the immune system, when left unchecked it can cause harm to brain cells. Oxidation results from normal cellular work, but it causes wear and tear on brain cells.

Special: New Aging Research Reveals Key to Long, Healthy Life

Here are eight foods that will help keep brain inflammation and oxidative stress at bay:

  1. Colorful berries. Animal studies have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of blueberries, strawberries, and pomegranates, which contain vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals that help protect brain cells.
  2. Green vegetables. Broccoli, spinach, kale, and collard greens are loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients, making them potent brain foods.
  3. Fish. This anti-inflammatory protein can be rich in omega-3 fatty acids depending on the type of fish. Sardines, salmon, mackerel, tuna, and herring have strong effects against inflammation.
  4. Nuts. One of nature’s most balanced foods, nuts contain omega-3 fats as well as some proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, and phytochemicals. Walnuts in particular have a very high concentration of omega-3s.
  5. Flaxseed. If you’re allergic to nuts and don’t like fish, you can get an anti-inflammatory omega-3 boost by using flaxseed oil or sprinkling flaxseeds on your cereal or other foods.
  6. Olive oil. This flavorful oil is packed with polyphenols and omega-9 fats that protect brain cells from inflammation.
  7. Turmeric. This Asian spice not only has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, but its active ingredient curcumin also fights the abnormal amyloid and tau proteins that accumulate in the brains of Alzheimer’s sufferers.
  8. Green tea. This type of tea is rich in flavonoid phytochemicals and antioxidants that block cell damage. If you are sensitive to caffeine, try decaf options.
Gary Small, M.D., is chair of psychiatry and physician in chief for behavioral health at Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest, most comprehensive and integrated healthcare network. Dr. Small has often appeared on the Today show, Good Morning America, and CNN, and is the co-author (with his wife, Gigi Vorgan) of 10 popular books, including New York Times bestseller The Memory Bible, The Small Guide to Anxiety, and The Small Guide to Alzheimer’s Disease.

Fortunately, I found a more potent source of Lutein and Zeaxanthin, from a more vibrant flower…

The Marigold.

marigold-illustration.png

Marigolds are a common sight in flower gardens, and when planted in vegetable gardens, they protect other plants from toxins to help them grow stronger!
It’s that protective ability that we’re interested in…
Because marigolds are the most potent source of these two vital Vision Detoxifiers.10 11
The top nutrition researchers from India, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Iran, and England all came together to report that…

Marigolds are a shield against ROS Toxins, and help you support your vision.10

And the results of this protection are amazing…
In placebo-controlled research at the University of Georgia, doctors gave 30 men and women marigold extract. The results? The patients were able to see fine details better, and make out details more clearly at night.
In other research, marigold extract helped men and women be less affected by glaring light, and helped their eyes adjust quicker to changes in light.
Then there were the studies that showed marigolds helped people’s eyes filter out blue UV light.
And they helped ease eye strain so people’s eyes felt less tired.

When I discovered this, I was thrilled.

I’d finally found the answer to help my patients reclaim their confidence to drive at night, and enjoy more moments like looking out at a pretty landscape with their family.

Hey Jimi,

Childhood trauma is more common than most people realize.

In fact, studies show that over two-thirds of children worldwide experience at least one traumatic event by the age of 16 or 18.

And it doesn’t always have to be something extreme.

It can be simple things like growing up in a stressful environment, feeling emotionally unsupported, or being exposed to ongoing conflict or pressure.

On the surface, these experiences may not seem that serious.

But when they build up and linger over time, they can begin to affect the body in ways most people don’t realize.

Discover the overlooked link between childhood trauma and chronic disease

You see, unmanaged stress and unresolved experiences don’t just stay in the past.

They can continue to influence your body long after the moment has passed.

In fact, research has shown that long-term stress and trauma are linked to a higher risk of conditions like cancer, heart disease, and autoimmune issues.

What makes this even more challenging is that this internal stress can also affect how well your body responds to the very treatments you rely on.

Which means you could be doing all the right things, and still not seeing the results you expected.

Despite what many people believe, these deeper patterns can have a much greater impact on your health than you may think.

The good news is, there are natural ways to gently start working with your body to address this.

That is exactly why I held my live masterclass yesterday, The Missing Link to Healing.

During the session, I broke down what this key factor is and how it influences whether your body can actually shift into a state where healing becomes possible.

As you watch the replay, you’ll discover:

  • How past stress can continue to affect your body over time

  • Why your system may stay stuck even when you’re doing “everything right”

  • How this impacts inflammation, recovery, and long-term health

  • Simple ways to begin helping your body shift out of this state

Watch the replay and discover the missing link behind what your body may be holding onto
Wishing you health and happiness,

Hey Jimi,
Parkinson's is now the fastest growing neurodegenerative disease.
It's growing faster than Alzheimer's.
A neurologist who's tracked over 20,000 Parkinson's patients at the University of Florida says early detection is critical.
And the earliest warning sign? It's not tremors.
"It is really important not to blow off symptoms like constipation, particularly if you haven't had constipation before."
One in five Parkinson's patients never develop a tremor at all.
But gut symptoms often appear years — even decades — before diagnosis.
When researchers biopsied the guts of Parkinson's patients, they found the disease's signature proteins were already present. Long before the brain showed any signs.
The earlier you catch it, the more you can do about it.
He's one of 45 experts featured in a groundbreaking docuseries about the gut-brain connection:

Hi Jimi, it’s Sarah Otto.

You’re exhausted by 8pm. And yet somehow, the second your head hits the pillow, your brain flips a switch.

You go lie in the other room for a while so you don’t wake anyone, telling yourself you’ll drift off any minute.

It’s 3:30am and you’re still there.

Maybe your fuse has been shorter lately.

You snapped at someone you love over something so small — a dirty spoon on the counter — that you felt ashamed the second the words were out.

Or maybe you finally get a moment to yourself and want to unwind with an episode of your favorite show on Netflix.

But your legs won’t settle… or your eyelid keeps twitching.

Three different moments. But for many women, they share a surprising root cause.

If you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, feel “wired but tired,” feel snappish more often, or carry tension in your jaw, neck, or shoulders…

I just published a report on something called the “Can’t Relax” Loop that you should read.

Most women get stuck in this loop without ever realizing it.

Once you understand why, you can finally break it — and get the deeper rest and relaxation you deserve.

Get the full story here:

Yours for better health naturally,

Brain Defenders: Reversing Alzheimer’s Risk with Dr. David Perlmutter
Jim,

For 30 years, the leading theory of Alzheimer's centered on a single villain, a sticky protein called beta amyloid. Every major drug built to fight the disease was designed to clear it out.

Dr. David Perlmutter told me this week that 75 percent of elderly people who die with no signs of cognitive decline still have high levels of that same protein in their brains.

That stopped me. If most healthy older brains carry the same protein everyone blames for Alzheimer's, it can't be the whole story. David has spent years building a case for a different explanation, the brain's own immune cells, which respond to how you eat, sleep, and move. That doesn't mean Alzheimer's is fully within your control. Genetics and age still carry real weight. But it means more of the story is written earlier than we thought, and some of it is written by us.

My dad passed away two months ago, and hearing David frame it that way landed on me directly. He talked about protecting your metabolism in your 30s and 40s as an act of care for whoever ends up as your caregiver later.

Here's some of what we got into:
  • Why microglia, the brain's own immune cells, may be the true driver of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, not the amyloid plaques everyone's been chasing
  • How every daily serving of ultra processed food raised Alzheimer's risk by 13 percent in a 13 year study, and 10 or more servings a day raised it by 270 percent
  • The four brain regions that run on insulin, and what happens to them when the body becomes insulin resistant
  • Why two thirds of Alzheimer's patients in America are women, and the estradiol connection David sees in his own patients
  • A GLP-1 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine that stopped Parkinson's progression cold, the first time a drug has targeted the brain's immune cells this directly
  • Why David thinks the real early warning signs show up in your 40s and 50s, decades before anyone would call it a diagnosis

If you have a parent, a partner, or a future version of yourself you're thinking about, this is worth your full attention.

P.S. You can pre-order Dr. Perlmutter's new book "Brain Defenders" now.

I hope you'll listen in,
Jeff

I’m going to be blunt: your body is probably starving for iodine. And you don’t even realize it.

This tiny mineral is the spark plug for every cell in your body. Your thyroid? Needs it. Your Brain? Needs it. Hormones? Detox? Immune system? They all need it.

The problem is… modern life stole it from us.

  • Fluoride in your water and toothpaste? Blocks iodine.
  • Chlorine in your tap water, showers, and pools? Steals iodine’s spot.
  • Bromine in bread, soda, mattresses, flame retardants? Literally sits in the receptor your body made for iodine and does nothing.
Result: your body thinks it has iodine… but it doesn’t.

Why this matters...

Without iodine:

  • Thyroid slows down → fatigue, weight gain, cold hands
  • Hormones go haywire → low libido, menstrual issues, mood swings
  • Brain performance tanks → brain fog, memory loss
  • Detox and immunity stall → toxins pile up, inflammation rises
And here’s the kicker: over 50% of people are deficient. Some studies in cancer patients show 97%. That’s insane. Almost everyone is walking around with cells that don’t work properly.

Your body cannot make iodine. You have to get it from food or supplements & it’s nearly impossible to get enough from food alone.

Most iodine out there is junk - synthetic, low absorption, full of fillers.

I use Activation Products’ Perfect Iodine, and honestly? I feel amazing!

>>>Check it out here and start to safely reintroducing iodine today<<<
