I believe that is Lannie's favorite tank. She has several other tanks that cost a lot more that she doesn't even use anymore because the OBS doesn't leak and is easy to make coils for and easy to wick.
I have ten of the original OBS's....bought them for $7 bucks apiece....haven't even tried one yet.

I need to find a nontoxic type of rubber cement to plug where it’s leaking..
any suggestions?

Looks like the location is where the squonk tube connecting to the underbelly of the 510..(that small well right behind the short red wire.

Probably try to take it all apart to make sure before I seal it though.. just need to figure how to take it apart...

Please tell Lannie, if she would like a few more OSB attys, I'll happily send um.

Oh, if they were Nanos, I'd snap 'em all up fast enough to make your head spin. I've gotten away from dual coils ever since I got my Nanos, because they're easier (only one coil), they don't take a lot of wattage (.4 ohms at 35 watts), and they don't burn through juice. I used to love my Aromamizer, Limitless, and ... and... OMG I forgot the name! That one Roxy helped design, that got her kicked off ECF. What the hell? That was my most favoritest one, and I haven't used it now for so long I forgot the name. You know the one I mean, right?

However, I'm sure the regular OBS Engine is built the same way as the Nano version, so if anyone wants a good (GREAT!) tank that doesn't leak, that's the one. Seriously, I've put all my other tanks away for now. Now they're backups, in case a disaster strikes and takes out all my Nanos. :p

Thanks very much for the offer though, Dale, you're a sweetie!

The Boreas.
I think you would like the Merlin kind of a single coil version of the Boreas.

I got my iJoy Combo tank from Fastech in the mail today. So far, so good. It draws like my other atties, and without spraying juice into my mouth. Hell of a lot better atty than the one that came with my squonker.
Along with that, I got 15 replacement coils for the big baby beast. It's a good day to vape.

OK, Ooops on my part. I just remembered she vapes OBS tanks and did not realize the large difference between Engine, Nano and... what's the new one? Mini?

I remember all that foo-foo-rah about that tank and it wasn't long before I started calling it Boring-Ass - the commentary was too repetitious.

Its the pulse 80W. my first night of using it juice started coming up from the bottom of the positive plate (it got into the battery wrap too) so i took it apart and juice was over flowing from that little well where the squonk pipe comes up to the 510. funny though it wasnt leaking on the bottle side.
Figured I can somehow plug the void to stop it from leaking... rubber cement? but need to confirm its not toxic..

The 510 is leaking?

If so, I would replace it with a good one.

Is the 510 unit comprised of the tubing that the squonk bottle attached to? Its just the top and spring part right?
So my problem is the the circled blue well.. you can still see the juice.. thats where the leak is coming from.. thinking i can seal it with something to fix it?

Not sure in JB Weld would do what you want, but it's sure to last longer than rubber cement or glue.

'Good call..
i still need to take it apart to apply it.. and make sure the it doesnt get into the tubing.. but before that confirm thats where its coming in from.. could be the top where it connects to the 510..
I nice little project I got

In the meanwhile a new one is coming and i hope that one isnt leaking..

Yeah man...you need a good squonk-510...I have 22 & 24 mm Fat Daddy 510's, but Modmaker 510's are supposed to be better, from what I've heard anyway....haven't tried one - although I've had zero problems with Fat Daddy 510's.

yeah.. not sure the brand on the pulse80W 510 but supposedly its leak proof..
does the 510 also include the tubing or its just the deck where you screw the atty to?

The metal deck and metal tube protrude down - for your silicone tubing connection.

YEAH!!! and raisin-nut bread.
Yep, that too.

I make oatmeal, flaxseed, chia seed, (real) maple syrup, (raw) almond butter, (raw) cashew butter, date, raisin cinnamon, (real) vanilla bean cookies...in the dehydrator...delicious

Yeah, and a raisin is just a dehydrated grape, which is good for you. Let's dry out some plums and call them... health food for old pharts. o_O that contributes to regularity....

How was life treating you and Lannie on the homestead today?
Well, the 93 degrees with no air conditioner didn't make us feel real good, so I went out and mowed the garden and the ditches (in direct sun - no shade - which felt like 150 degrees). And Lannie made a couple loaves of whole wheat bread - nothing like running the stove on a really hot day and no A/C... But by late afternoon, the thunderstorms started making lots of noise and the downdraft winds started to cool off the outside. In the house still feels kinda like sitting in an oven. Oh well...

Hey, Dale, I got a question about those OBS Engines. They are dual coil, but would they still work if you only put one coil in them? Are there holes in the bottom that would need to be plugged? Just wondering if there is a way to make complex tanks be simple...
