Yup, it's me who does my laundry too. Well, me and a 30 year old Sears Kenmore washing machine...
I'm here by myself...I don't have any other options....although I don't need other options....

My first wife did the laundry for the whole family, but that was her job; she did not work outside the home. After she left, all future girlfriends and wives worked the same number of hours I did outside the home, so it only seemed reasonable to me to share the workload. I have done my own laundry, cleaned my own toilets, etc., etc. ever since.I'm here by myself...I don't have any other options....although I don't need other options....
So have I Rich....and don't mind a bit.
Lannie and I agreed that the outside was my responsibility and the inside was hers, but I still do my own laundry and clean the messes I create inside, and she does the milking, which is outside, so that "rule" is not perfectly followed. I figure the cows are hers and even though the chickens are hers, I take care of the chickens and horses. The dogs are hers and the cats are mine. All the shop shit is my problem, but occasionally she helps me mend a fence. I do believe, if you counted every manhour, she probably does more than me overall, and I think she hurts almost as much as me, even though she is nine years younger. Oh well...

Oh, I would never buy a new one....like Rich mentioned, the old Sears machines seem to last forever. The one I have is a Kenmore, it must be 25 yrs old.
