Every now and again it is hard to tell the difference.

I have an aggravating neighbor that lost his job last year and has no hobbies or anything.
He wants to be my bestest buddy and hang out all the time here....

he is aggravating as a hangnail on every finger....

Now that is crap

Been thinking of building my workshop about 10 miles away on another piece of property....
But can't do that because of having to take care of the wife...

And I can't shoot him he is some kind of cousin of hers....

Maybe if you start handing him a shovel every time he comes by he will get the message - or better yet - tell him you need a hand giving the Mrs. a bath or whatever - might make both of them shape up a little

Naah he would just tell me I needed a backhoe.

Shit like that drives me CRAZEEEEEEE... so I stay indoors 99.9% of the time,. perfecting my hermit-like demeanor -- no friends in the neighborhood and that suits me JUST FINE.

The next-door neighbor lady is pleasant to exchange a wave with, now and then, and that's all that's required. I still wish the antisocial idiots across the street would hurry the fuck up and be evicted for their lack of tax-paying -- seen two signs now, that their property has been seized for taxes, but so far no deputies have shown up to lock them out. Dammit.

Hey Andria Did pretty good my numbers weren't what I would like them to be but when you self treat you expect that they go up then usually go back down, at least the vampire had a few bites under her belt and did a fair job. Thanks for asking my friend

How are you doing tonight Andria

I had apparently already departed the forum and PC... but I had a crappy night. My eczema on my hand was driving me BATSHIT with itching, and my eye, too -- I think I have that "dry eye" problem, and sometimes I get what look like "strands" in my eyes -- they're clear, and sometimes I can get them out with plenty of eyedrops, but the one last night wasn't prepared to leave; in fact it's still bothering me a bit this morning... er, afternoon -- I got up at noon thx to the sleepless night; think maybe I finally dozed off about 6:30.

Good to hear that your bloodwork is looking moderately good! I was EXCEPTIONALLY pleased when I got mine back, to see how solid my A1C is looking -- so despite my heritage (diabetes doesn't run in my family, it fucking GALLOPS), apparently I'm doing something right. :) At my age, considering how the type II diabetes killed my mom and a large number of her siblings, I'm VERY relieved. My lipids are in pretty good shape too; my HDL is a bit low, but so are my triglycerides and LDL, so I'll take it! :)

The itch drives you crazy when I had it on my legs I wanted to dig through to the other side of my leg. I get that dry eye too and use a product called stye, it's like putting vaseline in your eye but really soothes and relaxes them.
I am glad to hear your blood tests came back good my friend, hope it stays that way

Hey Pharts, hope all is well tonight!

Got back from Ottawa on Saturday. Was an interesting drive. The 401 iced up just past Kingston and a truck managed to wedge itself across the road just in front of us. We ended up sitting there for about an hour, but it was clear sailing after that

Picked up our dog on Sunday and she had an ear infection. I think it must have been brewing for a while and it just presented when we brought her home. Got it pretty much cleared up now. Going to have to remember to check her monthly going forward.

Blizzardo over?

Yeah, it quit about 10 AM today. Winds finally died off this afternoon -- well, back to "normal" breezy (10-15 mph). Getting to and from the barns was rather like a roller coaster; some almost bare spots and several 2-3 foot drifts that the wind packed down so hard the shovel barely made a dent. It's supposed to get up to (maybe) 25 tomorrow (it'll be 7F tonight), so cross your fingers that I can get the Bobcat started. Obviously, Teddy missed his vet appointment this morning, so I rescheduled him to get his balls cut off next Monday.

If Teddy only knew he would be happy.
I brought the cat carrier in the house a few days ago (so it wouldn't be freezing when I put him in it) and, even though he did not go in it this morning, he has been looking at it rather suspiciously. Part of me feels sorry for him, but everyone else in this house is fixed, so he'll just be one of the crowd in here. Outside, however, all the ferals will continue to have their full equipment because I can't catch them (nor can I afford to pay to have all of them fixed).
Glad I wasn't plowing show, like one of the pharts (aka Rich) was probably doing today....
Wish I could have been "plowing snow" today, but it wasn't warm enough to get ole Bob started. Hopefully, tomorrow...

Poor Bobcat he needs his own little warm house and then he would start right up for ya.
If I could just afford to keep the garage well above freezing... OR afford to take him in to have his block heater replaced. I can't do it myself because everything is so tight in that tiny engine compartment, I doubt you can even reach the plug without pulling the engine.

I wouldn't doubt that a bit....I know all about tight quarters in the bobcat.

This is a 1984 (model 540) with a two-cylinder Kohler 20HP engine ... funny part is, here's this heavy Bobcat with a 800-pound load capacity in the bucket running hydraulics to move everything. AWD skid-steer, and one of my old riding mowers (2010) has a two-cylinder Kohler that is 24HP. It doesn't do anything but spin three blades (54" deck) and has more HP than that antique Bobcat. Sigh...

Actually, if I had one of those, I'm bettin' I wouldn't need the block heater at all. There are two separate hydraulic fluids tanks; one behind the driver seat and one behind the bucket (occupies most of the under-carriage). If the hydraulic fluid wasn't thick as concrete in the cold, I bet that little engine would crank over a whole lot easier.

Yep if the pump is direct connected to the engine it sure would.
