I live in the land of 10,000 lakes (Minnesota). I like to take pictures of the lakes I visit. Sometimes they all look the same. The climate is constantly changing here too.

Went for a fish today at a place called Waubra. Nice little res and usually fishes ok but the weather turned bad when I got there, freezing cold and wind so no fish. They have a lot of wind turbines there on the hills. Nice area so was nice just to get out. But was glad to get back in the car too and crank up the heater.
Yes fishing is good around here. It's even better up north. They call it the Boundary Waters. There's a bunch of lakes along the Minnesota or U.S.A. and Canadian border. My uncle goes up there every year and catches big Walleye fish. They're delicious to eat. We usually catch sun fish or crappies off the long dock in the picture I posted above.
Sounds great. I just recently watched a video of where a guy was fishing for live bait to catch a big walleye and instead a big walleye took that line. 6 lb line and the fish was huge. He did well to land it. I wish we had some of your freshwater fish here like those.
There is an amazing intricate beauty to some flowers isn't there!

At first I thought it was the Shelter Island off the Coast of Long Island~!
My first Harvest of this season. Pitiful my garden is not doing well since I started from seed.
Mmmm, that first one and the harbour looks good to fish around throwing soft plastics!Back at the beach again today... all normal and not many people yay

At least you got something. They look ok.
Our bug and caterpillar problems have got so bad here in the past few years we have totally given up growing veges. Last 2 yrs attempts were utter failures whereas in the past we were giving it away in bags.

I've never seen this before. As sorry as I am that it makes you miserable, it's beautiful. Love the color, so vibrant.Ahh, my worst time of year has arrived. Wattle season. Yeah they look like that in real life too, no colour enhancement by the camera.
Mongrel thing is the allergy it gives me is the least reaction anyone would want right now.
It makes me cough like I have something like a cold or flu.
Im expecting some sideways dagger looks over the coming weeks till its gone.

Thank you, she’s a girl and her name is Zuzu. I took the name from Its a wonderful life, George Bailey‘s daughter, Zuzu. She enjoys a good snuggle and she’s six years old. Her birthday is May 10th and she enjoys walks in the park, she dislikes loud noises and fake people.
Here she is reaching for the sky, she sits and I say “stick em up!!” While pointing my finger gun at her. She does this trick for a treat and depending on how much she likes the treat dictates how well she’ll do the trick. This was a good example, she was reaching for the sky for a piece of duck jerky, her favorite.

My granddaughter's favorite guitar in my collection. I'd like to think it's the mods I did which make it a seriously good sounding piece. But we all know it's because it's sparkly.

Me too, I told her DogMan says he loves you and she wagged her tail. Pretty sure she loves you back. She hears the word love a lot and it’s usually followed with some ear scratches or tummy rubs so love is one of her favorite words.
Here she is protecting her very first toy she picked out all by her self on the way home from the rescue. That’s also the back of Brewster’s head, he was my neighbor’s dog I babysat for. He was like her big brother, always taken care and looking out for her. He passed a few years back and has been sorely missed. Big personality and the sweetest boy you’d ever meet. R.I.P. ya big lug.

How long since you've seen one of these? Close to 40 years? Then again, some may not even know what it is, lol. He saw this while he was cutting grass.

They changed to the push in ones, where ring stays attached when I was in primary school.
Lots of us struggled to adapt to having the ring there, and inperfect hole.
So lots of us pulled the ring off, after opening so it didn't press on upper lip. Which was unfamiliar to us, so viewed as wrong. Others went to great lengths to completely push the tab in to perfect the hole. Which is probably just a visual issue. But all change is bad.

Yep! Those and even gum wrapper chains, like Juicy Fruit, Double Mint... My youngest aunt had chains all around her bedroom.

Try some Quercetin, mate. It works great, I’ve been using it since the winter here. It’s an herb. @Jimi and @2WhiteWolves recommended it.

The dreaded ringpull. The bane of the metal detectorist. There are or were, still is enough of, lying around in sand on beaches and in parks that metal detector manufacturers still allocate a section of the machines ID segments to Ring Pulls. There must have been gazillions of them dropped and thrown all over the world. I still find them now and then in the bush detecting for gold. Mostly dropped by woodcutters id say who had a beer during their break.
I still come across them now and then. Heres an id screen, not mine as mine doesn't have visual id and is a straight out gold nugget hunter.

It’s like a teddy bear I think. It has since been destroyed when she realized she had a big bin of toys filled to the brim. She has plenty of toys so a few being destroyed isn’t the end of the world. I will give her a hug for you and here is another pic from today of her doing her trick just for you.lIs that a unicorn toy? She’s very adorable! Give her a hug from me.

Thought I was gonna have to replace the a/c motor blower, but when I got it out this is what I found in the squirrel cage.
How the hell did it get in there
Good thing it was that instead of the motor, 'cause the auto parts store sold me the wrong part
or I was supposed to slice the wires and I'm not an electrician, but I'm sure I would've done alright
