That doesn't make you wrong!

Some people might find this to be a necessity....

I don't see a need, but I think it looks to be a large deck, and the top cap seems to have airflow almost comparable to the phenotype L or the velocity...

Idk. I think I'll be holding off all RDA/tank purchases until I can afford a Petri 2.0

Matt

Nah. It looks like a pain in the ass to build on. At least for more than a single coil build. I can already tell the leads will keep moving around as you try to tighten it down.
Just thought about this to. Have yall ever tried building on a 454 big block? I always had a pain with mine and that damn negative plate so i sold it.
That's what the post on that atty remind me of lol.

Staple Build on the Fountain V2...I really like this Squonk RDA....I didnt think I would when I first got it but its growing on me...I threw a crappy 5 wrap 22g build in it at first and wanted to try something slightly better while keeping the resistance high enough to keep it on the Snow Wolf Mini. I like how it has the Snow Wolf laser etched onto it and when its screwed all the way down it positions itself perfectly so your thumb is on the bottle and trigger finger is on the button while holding it, it is VERY comfortable. It looks tall on the pictures but in fact its a very small compact Sqounking Setup...Its Thinner and Shorter then the Cuboid with a Hobo V2.1 on it (For a Size Reference)
2 x .5 Ribbon/36N80 (5 Wraps/3mm ID, .22 Ohms @ 75w)

I've been too lazy to build but my coils but the ones in my TM lost all their hit so I tossed these monsters in. Staged aliens 28/36 26g staging, all n80, 6 wraps 2.4mm.

They just barely fit, there's around 1mm clearance to the top cap.

The posts look identical to that of the aeronaut, other than the the fact the aeronaut's run parallel to eachother. I can tell you now the leads do no move as you're tightening. While any other rda I've used has the bolts coming into direct contact with the leads I made a habit of leaving my screwdriver or drill bit in the coil, just so when the bolts started trying to spin the lead the integrity of the coil wasn't compromised. With this design, again essentially identical to the aeronaut, the bar on top simply increases the downward pressure on the lead as you tighten the bolts, as opposed to the bolts "turning" the leAd. I personally regard it as a superior design, especially when I decide to stuff coils with 3 or more cores, staged claptons and so forth. I think I'm gonna have to pick this up in the distant future. Hopefully they come out with a clone.

No, not the same. It's not just the fact that it uses a bar to tighten down the leads. I actually like the bars on the Aeronaut. That's why I have one. On this new RDA though, they are running lateral to each other, not parallel. HUGE difference in the way the coils may or may not move around when tightening the bar.

I just want a 2 post atty. But I don't want tons of airflow anymore lol I've changed my vaping status lately from my mutation x being fully open to only having the first row of airflow open. I get the dense clouds and it gives me a good platform to pratice cloud chasing on

It's not that there's anything specifically special about it. It's just that they got everything right. Perfect sized air holes. Perfect sized body. Extreme attention to detail and quality. They just got everything right for the perfect vape.

Of course this is subjective (except for the detail/quality), but it works for a lot of people.

I just find that I have become more of an airflow vaper. I still close down airflow on my setups and drop the wattage to keep from getting good too hot, but I find the flavor isn't really there. Most of all my rda's and tanks I run wide open. Only one I don't is the secondary airflow on the velocity. I do run its direct airflow wide open. Not sure why I changed to that but it is just how I have changed to like my vaping.

Best of Both Worlds (Airflow and Flavor) while using a Two Post Design are:
Stro Mini, Baal V3, Hobo V3 for RDA's
Griffin and Diablo for RTA's

This is my opinion, if that holds any weight...

Yes, the Griffin has a cult following... The cult of people who are right. If you are a big build RDA user and don't like the Griffin, you're using it wrong!

I have yet to find a flaw with the Griffin or find anything that could of been done better on it...try saying that about any other Tank/RTA/RDA

I found one thing I could nitpick, the orings around the tank don't stick in their grooves very well, so you have to watch them when you dismantle it... that's the extent of what could be complained about that I could find. Pretty solid to me, hell that may just be me being unlucky with a bum set of o-rings as I haven't tried the others they provide with it (think I might switch to the green tonight to match my new Lime juice... it's so good!).

I run mine wide open. I loved my Griffin with the broken baseand really love it now that everything works as it should. Easy to build on, no leaks, good size tank, and good airflow. Looks dead sexy too.

I wished they used the Innokin style top fill, like on the Zephyrus V2 where you just twist the top cap and expose the fill ports. I hate taking the top cap off to fill and I always get a little ring of juice around the rim when I replace it. That's pretty much my only complaint. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1455826898.140885.jpg

Nope, it's actually scary how little wick you need for it. I have less than 10mm of wick coming out of the coils, just gently tucked into the juice wells and voila perfect.

Fuck that...I would rather have a Smok TFV4 Fill up, I actually dont mind filling the Griffin the way it is now though. Those holes type fills like Innokin's and Uwell's Rifiale Tank look like horrible designs, spilling and leaking and overfilling especially with high VG juice...

Its very easy to wick, you just need to have the tips cupped by the juice ring and deck ledge and clip anything more then that off...
This is my wicking:

Mine had only flooded once. I didn't close off the juice flow control when filling it and it leaked. Nothing other than that. I had problems leaking too and then I watched the video by rip and haven't had a problem since.

I'm the opposite, the screw cap is my favorite, I guess I could say they should have added some fins for grip on the cap, but I don't have any issues. I've had a couple top fills and all the others have the potential to rattle and open in my pocket, not this thing.

I had a delay just due to the amount of people buying right now, just like last year...had to wait almost a week to get it. Usually I can walk in and out carrying something new in less then 15 minutes...

If I had a ltch I could walkin and out in 10-15 but I can't apply for a permit for 5 more years due to a screw up. I ened up getting a misdominer that related to having a loaded pistol in the car with me. So basically carrying witout a license. Gotta wait 6 years from the date of arrest and I can pay to have that expunged

That sucks for you man....I dont have anything much on my record..but I have had a few attempts for Suits for cyber vandalism/Breaking EULA's and more.
Great thing about living in VT...Only Gun law is "You have to be 15 to buy a firearm" and "500ft from Roadways/City Limits for Firing Firearms".
You can OWN a firearm at any age. There are no permits, no licenses, no state backround checks or waiting (Federal BR Check applies still). There is concealed carry and Constitutional Carry (open carry). Can make you own weapons without permits, own NFA items without hassle from the state (still needs stamps and federal approval though).
If I was to move away from VT...The only state I would move to is AZ and thats because the laws for firearms are almost identical.

I'll have to give mine a 2nd chance. I only ran one build in it so far (a dual framed staple build) and it was quite warm. Almost hot. Definitely uncomfortable to vape. I'm gonna try an alien in the Griffin, so maybe I'll make a set for the Indestructible, too.

Funny thing about the Indestructible is that I posted this thread here almost four months ago and had no responses. I also posted it on another well known forum, and nobody liked it. They said it probably wouldn't sell well at all and would most likely be discontinued almost immediately.

If you hold a FFL or paid your stamps and did you Form 1 and 4 for it then yes...Federal Laws still is game man..
I own a few Class III firearms myself, 2 SBRs-AR (11" Barrel) and a GSG-5PK with a Retractable Stock/Suppressor, a few suppressors, and a Trigger group and a Navy Lower for a MP5 which I am slowly piecing together..
Many states you can own a Class III or NFA weapon/Parts, just need he NFA paperwork and stamps for each and then your good.
