Not only do I run my Griffin tank and love it, just ordered a hohm wrecker g2 red limited edition. Can wait to get my grubby mits on that beast! Holla!

Also, gonna add to the Griffin talk. Love that thing. So much room to build and great flavor and all around fantastic tank. I give my uwell crown courtesy days once a week though.

Thats what I have and its my favorite setup right now....hopefully more people chime in on my post to Hohm Tech so they will make a darker red version with Math Symbols rather then Gender Symbols (Sigma, Pi, Omega Symbols). They also said they will be adding my software tweaks and change how they have the folders setup to make it easier on newer users that arent tech savy (Win 7/8 users have to add there own drivers to folders for the HWG2 to be found and updated)

BTW if anyone here hasnt tried it yet I suggest you grab some. Its $25 for a 120ml bottle and its FUCKING AMAZING! I got some juice in today and more coming tomorrow and Monday...Hope it all tastes good.

Just thought I'd share the top view of that goon RDA... I share because I thought it was a single bar... It is two separate bars.

It's a 24mm. Atty which is why it looks so large of a deck.

Still, with chef. Doesn't seem to be easy to position your coils like that.

i want to stuff as much wire in my Velocity that i can get away with. i'm really grooving on staple builds, and want to push it to the max. i want to do a massive Cat Track. @CrazyChef : i think you did one up just recently, but i can't find the specs.

here is what i have to work with wire wise. i have .5K for the cores; and for wraps i have 36K, 38K, and 36N80. power wise i have my IPV4S (120watts). the built has to be .1 ohms or higher.

For those who were hesitant or interested in the Diablo RTA and wanted to see more of it before going further I finally got some time to do it. In it is 4 x .5KA1R/36N80 Staples (5 Wrap/3mm ID@ .25 Ohms).

Airflow, its not really adjustable-you can raise and lower the base plate to give more airflow but the change is negligible. I find it to be at the perfect amount of "wide open", much like the Twisted Messes RDA Wide open.
20160219_162811.jpg 20160219_162921.jpg

The Deck, it is slightly and I mean SLIGHTLY smaller then the Griffins deck. It isnt as tall as the Griffins so you need to build lower and closer to the Airflow. This is a good thing as building closer to the airflow will help adjust for your perfect draw as it can tighten up the airflow and make the draw warmer the closer you pull the coils down. The postholes are 2.3mm (By my Calipers) and the Screws SUCK (Buy some good ones!), I bought some Flathead Set Screws and trhey work very well. Everything is machine very well and it was clean when it arrived. The juice ports are nice and big, and wicking it is easy. Follow GrimmGreens method on how to wick the Goblin Mini but cut the cotton so it barely goes into the ports for lower resistance builds. It wicks just as well as the Griffin and I find that to be superb, not many other RTA's can say they wick this well.
20160219_163023.jpg20160219_163153(0).jpg 20160219_164539(0).jpg

The RTA is Cheap, $9-$13 for the clone and its a TRUE 1:1! This one pictured is the clone that Arrived yesterday and I will have the 2.5ml Mini tomorrow. The Topfill is easy, better then the Griffin actually as the Fins give you something to grab on while you untwist the cap. The fill holes arent as long but they work nicely. The drip tip has fins at the top and if you do not like it the tip can be pulled apart and the top piece flipped so the fins will be at the base of the tip instead for comfort, this I find to be very thoughtful of the manufacturer. All in all I recommend this tank to someone that enjoys the Griffin and wants more capacity and doesnt mind having a set airflow they can only adjust with build height...for $9 you really cant pass one up!

One thing I really would love to see is to have the build deck sit below the bottom of the tank assembly. Make it like the uwell crown tank. You never have any wasted juice with that style and you can vape till the last drop if you want to.

I find it to be fine, the Deck is only a couple millimeters above the lowest point of the port and your cotton would suck it up....You can see where the juice port is in the tank, the tank gets empty before filling it, nothing is really left in there like the Griffin and Crius..

20160219_232052.jpg
The bottom Plate is way below the bottom of the Tank so dont factor that plate in...Ill take a pic tomorrow with that plate off while on a mod..

Bought a Noisy Cricket Today and Threw a 2 x 26K/38N80 Fused Clapton Double Barrel in it.
Its not as hot as I was expecting for a .47 Ohm but I like it. I havent seen a NC in person and it blew me away, I put off getting it before but I paid the damn 37 bucks at the new brick & mortar store in town to have one immediately.

I've been dropping almost that exact same build in my Snubnose. I do 9 wraps of 38/30 @ 2.5mm. Comes out to .73. The skinny fused claptons really do perform nicely - everything is just so on-point with them. The wire itself is a hell of a lot easier to make, too.
IMG_20160220_210503.jpg

They do jank-up really easily when I'm positioning them, though. So soft and delicate, yet still springy... ...this is probably the cleanest I'll ever get em.

Im happy and sad. On one hand these coils look absolutly amazing, on the ither i dont have a mod thst can fire a .08 build.... i really dont want to run this as a single eaither.... idk.
View attachment 41188 staged fused claptons. 28x4 core 28 wrap staged with 22 5 wraps 2.5mm id.
Take out the staged heating wire and pinch them together.
That should give you like a .16 or close.
Or change the staged and add a lager size to up the resistance

I just bought this tank and love it on my DNA200
The VCMT? I love it for its capacity but I feel its definitely not worth its asking price...They need to redesign the Juice Control, Knurl the Delrin Tip, and Enlarge the Chamber/Barrel and then I feel it would be a much better tank, for me the Griffin is a much better RTA for a hell of a lot less money....I hope they release the 25mm Griffin I keep hearing rumors of, then the VCMT doesnt stand a chance in any direction.

That's why I bout the 30 mm vcmt.
Larger tank but like you say that drainage of juice after fill up is a pain for sure

5-wrap, .15 ohm, triple parallel 27g @ 3mm in my Mutation X v3. Performs phenomenally well at 125w - though wicking drops off past that point. 27g isn't just for hipsters to be cool like that. It really is a very noticeable jump up from 28g... ...in this build anyway.

Though it's about as responsive as a parallel 28g build would be, it has a slightly more gradual heating profile, so the throat hit and warmth that are really prominent with parallel 28g are smoothed over ever so slightly, while vapor production, flavor, and density all improve pretty drastically. It's a smooth, chewy, taffy-like vape. It's doing things with V3's Strawberry Lemonade. Good things. Great things. I'm really enjoying the vape.

Picture was mostly taken as an excuse to diddle around in Photoshop.

@CrazyChef , do you have a specific build/wire specs for a great NC Build? Something Quick Ramping & Hot, but still flavorful (Clapton/Fused Clapton Oriented?)
I was thinking 2 x 28/36g FC's 8 Wrap Dual Coils but wasnt sure about it...

Vaping the Strawberry Lemonade right now too!, can't wait for the Keylime to come out, I think people will love it. Much love for @B-boy™ giving me a nice birthday present and swapping out another flavor for it in my last order. I'm just worried I'm going to kill the 100ml before it's available for regular purchase.

The first thing I put in mine was a 28K/40N dual fused Clapton (I think). Like 12 wraps or something in the Velocity and it worked great!

Well I have been out today and joined the back of the Griffin train and i have to say but im not disapointed based on first impressions and first build, it is running pretty sweet, it got abit hot at 80w -4.4v so ive turned it down to 44w atm to break the coil in.

I don't get my Griffin turned up too high either. Mine has 2x26n80 core wrapped in 40k wrapped at 2.5mm at 5 wraps on each coil. Runs great but keep it at 70-75 watts on my lavabox.

Im at .09 on my Griffin running 125w easy...
My other Griffin is a .13 Ohm and running at 95w
Diablo is a .23 running at 80w
They all roughly feel the same right now, As the resistance raises the wattage gradually decreases...

New NC Build...I like this a lot more then the previous build.
2 x 26K/38N80 Fused Claptons (10 Wraps/3mm ID @ .52 Ohms):
20160221_132414.jpg 20160221_132319.jpg 20160221_132335.jpg 20160221_132445.jpg

I tried getting them as clean looking as possible but with fused claptons with this many wraps it tends to leave some looseness within the coil and I didnt want to mess them up so the leads are kinda weird but the coils all flat and even like I wanted them. Next build May be some Polished 22g or something similar, but these will do for now!
