Ive wanted a Ruby for a long ass time...its a 3 post and its a Tube so build between .15-.3 and use GOOD BATTERIES ONLY!! Its a real hybrid setup.
So I followed your advice DED420 and the moment I added those tags people like Squidoode and a ton of other people have seen them...what a world of difference!

This is what I just did in the Office...I havent coiled it but its a beast. Its a 24N80/22KA1/24N80 Core wrapped in 40KD then Caged with 2 Different Claptons and Twisted Wires and 2 Single 22KA1 Strands..

I wasnt using any...I edit all the posts with a variety of hashtags and in less then a hour I collected over 200 likes over all and 15+ followers..hashtags make the difference.

It's a clone. I had it in series when it shorted. I had little to no interest using it in parallel. The curved piece of sheet metal that connects to the copper 510 fixture with the knurled nut caused the short. The nut came loose and the metal completed the circuit without the help of the trigger.

Twisted clapton braidiator. Twisted 28g N80 wrapped in 36g N80 and braided with 30g K1. 3/32 ID and measures 0.32 ohms. I need to start braiding only when I'm home alone. Stopping and starting again always fucks it up.
Had some left over twisted clapton from that and threw it in the all day STM. 3/32 ID and measures 0.5 ohms. Wrap isn't as clean on this bit, but I'll live.

50 may be pushing it for someone newer to IG, but it definitely helps. @dotbuilds has reposted a few of my posts. One of them has become the third most liked build pic out of 1100 posts on their page. People like posts that are shiny for some reason. At least when it comes to coil builds.

Yea I was pretty surprised...shit I was just happy I had M.Terk and Squidoode liking the pics, didnt expect a repost of anything but it did! You will have to take a pic of the internals...Ill take one also so you and I can compare on whats different. From what I recall you dont use the bar when using it in series........only when in parallel.

Its that clip of the Inception Coils heating up, it blew up immediatly after posting it and has steadily been growing since....I may do more glow video's of crazy builds.
I think today is the day I will be doing that coil collection in the Mason 40mm...to see how many 20 wrap/3mm 24g Coils will fit inside of it.
Yeah, there's a limit of 30, that's why it's hard to pick the ones that you wanna use, gotta make them count lol.
This is something I've noticed more and more recently. I'm OCD, so I always tag what's in the picture first, then decide on the commons I'm gonna use, but I've seen alot of people just tag anything (like tagging #goonRDA #TMrda #Petriv2 #tugboat, when it's a picture of an ejuice bottle and Kanger Subtank) and they get tons of likes still, so it's possible to just use the "top searched" hashtags if you really want likes, not my style but apparently it works

There is actually a lack of good glowshot videos on Insta, and the ones that people do post are usually of shitty quality (video is blurry and out of focus), or it's just simple coils. Your fancy beefy coils and hybrid coils are gonna garner quite a bit of attention. There's a page IIRC (@rampemup) that posts nothing but glow shot vid shoutouts, you can check them out, they're about the best that Instagram has to offer, and I'm sure they'd repost yours if I tagged them in it

Oh its a 26k32k clapton, wrapped on a paper clip, stretched, aliened onto 3 paper clips then messed with until it makes a coil, but I screwed the last bit up because it was hard.
At least you got yours to wrap...Mine went fine for the first millisecond then bent and took off a nice thin layer of skin...reminded me of a cucumber being cut..I bet if you used 38g it would of held it tighter and made it slightly more uniform when wrapping it...but it also has alot to do with how much tension is had as you are pulling it round.
So I will never buy .6 and wider Ribbon wire ever again and stick to .3 from now on...but I did make this really shitty looking Naked Ribbon Build using the .8 today..
