Finally all caught up bro lol. I'm off work again tomorrow so I'm gonna try to build a coil or two and also load some ammo to go shooting Saturday or Sunday. Depending on the weather of course

Here's the smaller build I decided to do today.

So I wanted to run a 32/42 alien in the Petri for the Noisy Cricket. I failed miserably. So I went with 30/40. I don't know why there's such a difference, but the 30/40 is MUCH easier to work with for some reason. SERIOUS flavor and cloud build! :D

3x30K/40N, 7/8 wraps, 3.0mm ID, 0.42Ω

Ray favors the Diablo. For me, I see no reason to switch from the Cricket.

I like the Lucifer more then the Cricket for Series...but the Diablo is my favorite mod for parallel..

Yes the Diablo is a parallel mod, I think you guys are confusing it with the Lucifer...

Those are 2 different style mods....one is a parallel and one is a series device...it all depends on what you want to build for...
I remembered that after I posted... ugh. Not sure if I want to go series or parallel. Gonna have to doug in on some research.

So I made some claptons tonight wasn't too bad! Then I went to make fused claptons and fucked it up any tips other then just practice that I can do to keep my tiny 36gauge wire to stay nice

Similar to what Ray said, YouTube is your best friend when it comes to learning how to build. Just do a search for "fused clapton" and you'll get tons of tutorials.

I had the NC for a few months before realizing I needed a parallel box as well.. Might knock both out and just get a HOG?

With the high gauge Claptons I've been making for the NC, I'm finding that I really have no need for the super low ohm builds any longer. Hence, no need for a parallel mod. The quality of the vape, in the right RDA, is just fantastic.

I like the Clapton coil a lot it's good on flavor and nice could production but I want to do a fused Clapton again and I've only gotten perfect once and then every time after it came out totally different each time so I'm going to purchase the best swivels out on the market right now and try ! Thank you

So parallel is for low ohm build whereas series require higher ohm builds since they are pushing the power. Battery life better on parallel?

Pratice with, say,34ga or even 32ga until you have them perfect then move on up a gage. Hope that helps. Don't give up buddy!

I have been using 24G for the cores and 36 for the wrap wire
Try with some 34 for your wrap. I started off with 36 and couldn't get in the grove with it. After (several)practices I finally got to where i get "clean" builds with 38

I just don't have the dexterity or patience for high gauge fused clapton like 30/40 or higher. Just end up pissed off. Hmm, maybe I can find some for sale on the internet...

I'm not sure on this, but knowing that the low resistance builds are pulling more amps, I'd imagine it'd be a more case by case thing. If you're pulling 40amps vs pulling 15amps even if you double the mAH you're going to be draining them quite quickly still and probably faster on the 40amp parallel than the 15amp series.

Thanks man! i dont have anything on people like @raymo2u @crazy chef or @scarecrowjenkins but I keep practicing and trying to get a little neater every time I'll try to look back threw and find some of my older pictures so you can see what I mean. Actually hell here's a griffin coil that ive been vaping on for about a week now.

I'm the same way, I get very workable vapes, but I almost always have flaws. I think this new build I just did is the first one I'd actually be proud to show (if I had a macro lense), no gaps and no screw ups, just pretty.

Personally I jumped right to 40g though, rather not have to buy a bunch of rolls of wire that I won't use once I get better, and I'm getting there. I still like to "free hand" the lower gauge cores, but I grabbed some swivels and it's a godsend, doubt I'd pull off the 28g cores without it.

I ran the griffin coils (2x28/38) by hand but the "clean" ones in the cube (2x24/38) went on a cheap swivel until they binded and pissed me off major lol
