I could have changed something to make that washed out look less jarring.
I just don't have time to fuck with it atm. Gotta work at 4 and I need 2 more of those coils.

Thanks for the help man. Remember, I started making clapton 3 months ago and staggering staples a few days ago.
You, Qlippoth, Slippy and Tom Forde are the reason I'm as good as I am.
Wait till I get a better job and can dump money into what I need to do this. My swivels died 2 months ago...still spin so I use em. Lol. Makes a hell of a twist though.

I wish I could sell this shit...these weren't even hard. I'm at a wall without 40g plus.

Thanks again guys.
How close am I to being considered for a sponsor? Not like some high end one...I need a spin lt and a macro lens. Lol.

Will build for wire guys, cmon!

I need some recognition on IG too.

Well send me the pics and ill edit them and send them back and then post them.

Sponsors come in time, they scout just like for football and other genres, you got to put the effort in and have it show and they will come. For a Macro lens I highly suggest getting a Zomei 37mm lens from Ebay...Squirmingcoils, @CrazyChef , @Qlippoth and others have tried it and agree its a great lens and it can be gotten for around $12.

Make sure to use the hashtags, tag people and tag page sthat repost and they will repost your images and thats how you build a reputation. I dont know your IG either.
@the_swvl on instagram should be something everyone should look into if they cant build their own ball bearing setup or cant afford a spinlt from usaohmmeters, the swvl is $15 shipped and does the same thing as the spinlt.

I've posted 2 shots of my coils but I'll send you the others...or post here.
Who do I tag? Just my nuccas here and on ECF?
Sorry for all the questions but until I joined here I didn't know about sponsors or IG.
Today's payday so I might get some stuff. Doubtful but a man can hope. I'll look into what you suggested.

Whenever I try an RDA for the first time, I'll use a simple 24g dual micro coil (triple in this case) for testing on how the RDA would perform, nothing fancy at first. The flavor and vapor was amazing, shocked to say the least, very thick and moist wide open, even with a standard kanthal micro; small reduced chamber, flavor styled atty. So, I made about 4 ft of some sexy shiny alien fused claptons to try on it and upon unscrewing to take this test build off, the top part of the screw twisted off.

Now, I'm stuck with this build until I un-thread this broke ass screw, without f-ing my RDA up -.-

F_ck copper screws man..

There's options. Easy out or drill it and chase the threads.
Copper screws? Why?!

I'm wanting to try a snake spine. Can someone give me a brief walk through of what I'll be doing?
I know you use a bigger core for the initial clapton but how do you make the spaces?

Maybe make a spaced clapton and reverse the drill to loosen the wrap? I could be way off. Lol.

Here ya go bud...
Steps:
  1. Clapton a Piece of 22g with 36g.
  2. Decore and slip a piece of 26g in the 22g Clapton
  3. Fold the length in half and fuse it with 36g.
  4. You can hammer it very carefully, use a roller or other flattening methods now, be careful not to screw it up!!!
  5. Then pull the length of wire through some toothless pliers holding the wire flat between the jaws.
This is how you make that Female Metal Snake Spine, The Male Metal Snake Spine you do one side up and one side down.

Has anyone tried using spool tamers on spools of ribbon wire or will it mess up how it comes off flat? there has to be a better option than tape... also excited i have a SS petri rta clone coming that can hold some of these staple builds ive been doing lately... i have a pair of framed staples too big for any of my decks lol.

I would not, instead put you spool of ribbon into a sandwich bag and pull enough off the spool to stay outside of the ziplock...then zip it up

Finally logged in. A couple of coils I made the past few days. Corrugated tsuka and corrugated staple Staggered fused clapton.

Also been playing more with the light box since the weather hasn't been too friendly for natural light shots.

Well, I tried corrugated again and failed miserably, but I had the frames left so I made a fused Clapton series build - 2x29k/50N just for the fun of it. Got about 3/4 of the way through before the 50 broke, so I came back in from the other direction. Vapes pretty nicely at around 0.65Ω

Nice chef!!!
Try this next time you use anything high gauge. Throw your spool into a sandwich bag and then hold it as you would to clapton with....the bag makes it spin easily as if you fingers were coated with oil....but the oil doesnt rub off and you can choose to apply more or less resistance on the spool...

I thought about selling SSFCs and Fraples on ebay but when I looked on there...wow!
5 ply, 26g frames and staggered with 34g? What the fuck?
The frames would resist less than the ribbon! Idiots.
Still, it wouldn't cost me anything to make a pair of 8 or 10 ply framed with 28g and wrapped in 38g.

I really want to sell coils but idk how to go about it. I don't even know what to ship them in.

Well this young guy in Miami charges $10 for (2) aliens, but he puts them in a plastic envelope, but before he wraps them in a small baggie with a sheet of Japanese kendo places them in a small bag and he ships first class with tracking that cost $2.63 and he pays eBay $1.00 commission plus PayPal...

So he doesn't make a killing !!!! He's building and making a couple of bucks to pay college......

Nice. White Owl Industries, CEO/President: You. "If you can dream it, you can do it" - Walt Disney

Maybe try Ebay or send them to a vape shop in the begeinning, if people like it, they will ask for more, so will the shop.

If you get big and need help with marketing, art, labels, I work at a vape shop (marketing) and I'm pretty art savvy with my graphic design software (artwork).

Oh, get this shit. My local vape shop says they can't sell coils or lengths of wire because of the FDA. Supposedly they can only sell coil heads.
Every other shop sells coils but mine!

They did before August but I didn't build then.

I work at a vape shop, in Austin, Texas. We sell pre made coils, RFVape and other fancy claptons. If you want FDAs guidelines.. visit FDAregs.info. It might be where u live though, it's not the FDA - that's BS bro. Usually, instead of saying No or I don't know, they'll use that excuse. I prefer harsh honesty rather than smoke blown up my ass..

I already know dude. I have the worst shop. Prices 25-50% over msrp, no wire, only sells cheap shit and prebuilts. It's mostly a juice and coil store. No mechs for gods sake! They don't know the difference between unregulated and mech.

Is there a way to like this post more than once? Congrats raymo. You deserve something like this. Now this gives me more reason to bust my ass and do even better coils.

Oh, and I envy the people with the macro lenses... I have been just using the phone trying to hold it steady on full zoom. Yeah, not lying. I really am holding a phone with the pics I post...
Didnt see this post before....I also use a phone to take all my shots, a Galaxy S6 with a $12 clip on Macro...I hold my mod in one hand and phone in the other and wander in my backyard to take shots ;)
