Like @KarmicRage said... I would move the coils higher a tad, and much closer to your air holes, and either close off the air until it is no wider than the coils, or spread the coils out to make them wider. Raising wattage if you spread them out and keep air all open, also.

For Best flavor possible, I would close down air at least half way, and move my coils towards the side the hole will be, know what I mean? Like not perfectly in the middle, more close to the left post, each side...closer to the holes and higher also

Edit: .I dont know that RDA, can the sleeve move around wherever? You may not need to make the coils off-center, if you can move the air holes to the middle and still close it off some

Ima scrap em. building the a-1 5 wrap that works. I've moved them towards the air flow holes, centered em, they are as high as they can go by the way I clipped the ends so when they were tilted towards the vent holes the coils wouldnt ground out to the drip cap.

Btw .... I hate to do this I LOVE coil society but as a builder fuse wire/decore wire is always used up the fastest .....that being said King orchid on eBay has 1K ft of 38G kanthal D for 11$ and it's the highest quality you'll find especially the spooling. 40G I believe is 11$ also

Kanthal A1 can reach a higher max temp then kanthal D .... Only difference. It's max temp is one well never see still , and it colors like SS but with more of a pastel color, it's beautiful.

No I didn't. wife and I went for breakfast then just sat around as we don't EVER get childless time except for work. So we Vaped and watched some Dave Chappelle. Gotta get her car running again so we can put the spare car back up for the winter I hope. Maybe rainy Sunday will be a good day for that. One question though. Say I want a 3x26. Do I fuse a 24 then decore or a 28.

It's a 3:1 ratio (for the most part) 26G decore for 3 x 26G cores

i was thinking the same thing about getting old...i have weekend antics coming up tonight and all i can think about is being out of wire and my broken chuck clamp...at least i got shipping confirmation on my raymo clamps today.

Nice, can't wait for mine to get here as well. Man's an absolute legend. Kept 1 back for me to be able to buy as I was skint. Proper diamond. I'm still out of 35g and 36g so won't be trying any more alien staggs till then or anything in those gauges for that matter.

I was getting ash on my teeth from the aliens, got to figure out how low the Pyro needs coils to go for the top to not get black

Edit: This build got black first day! I think my coils need to be Higher, not lower. Way higher than I'm used to

I’ve actually been getting from King Orchid for a few years now... rayon actually put me on to him way back when.... he actually lives one state over from me so I always get it 2 days from order which is amazing. I actually got some .5 ribbon on its way over to me right now... but yeah he’s a real stand up guy, I only wish he would get some decent nichrome.

Man that 40g is SHINY! SMOOOOOTH wrapping...I'm struggling with even round wire building last couple days with this frustrating Pyro, delicious but frustrating air config...ordering wire TOMORROWWWWW then, I WILL jump in head first and waste it in one week ( I mean make some rad fused staples and stuff)

I really want to do a stagger with 4 or 5 staggered cores, like JRiley posted the other day, that would take a lot more care and prep than I've done before. And gotta try some staples, Never vaped a framed staple before.

In my honest opinion, out of all the builds I've done, nothing vapes like a framed staple. Alien wrap on it is obviously better, but regular fuse is still amazing... even staggered fuse frame Staples and stagertons are amazing. Just any variation of framed Staples really,. Just nothing compares to having all those little grooves for your juice to sit in!!

This is actually why I was so excited when I heard about the Neutron RDA by Jaybo. It gave me the opportunity to throw so fat framed Staples on top of a series mod. 6(.4x1)/2(24g)/40g fuse dual coil 4\5 wrap would normally ohm out around .08-09ish I believe.. sitting on the Neutron (in series deck mode), my duals are sitting around .36ohm.. more then safe for series mode on the Noisy Cricket 2. Love this setup!!!!!

It’s pretty amazing man... I do kinda wish they made it strictly series mode (neutral post permanently installed) so that your build space was a bit larger. Don’t get me wrong, you can still fit some big boys in there, I just would have liked the option to go a little bigger. The build I posted above is pretty much utilizing all of the build space. I do suppose you could make the wire stack a little wider and do less wraps and make the coil diameter larger... you can definitely do 4mm with no issues IMO (didn’t try it but pretty sure it works)..

My BIGGEST gripe with the rda is the damn drip tip setup. He still didn’t transfer over to the 810/Goon style. He’s still using the Indestructible slam caps so it’s not the easiest finding new ones. That being said, the slam cap is all SS so if your chain vaping it can get hot. If you have any idea where I could grab a new cap, PLEASE let me know!!!!!
