Do you have "family" in Vegas?
Do I have the right state?
I use to have an uncle that lived there but he passed 15 years ago.
Vegas is in the great state of Nevada.

Oh hell, it’s officially my faultI'm officially or not blaming you for this...
Ride ‘em cowboyI drive both but 90% of my time is spent on a regular forklift.
And yes, dumbasses move the blockers and walk right in.
I’m not on a lift all day because I’ve got other things to do but I probably spend 50% of my time on equipment.
My god you gave me a heart attack!!! Never heard that before.I blame Huddy for all of this.
Ah god, good times.Have I ever mentioned how much my wife and daughter hate heat? They hate it….can’t tolerate it.
Have I mentioned that they arranged a trip next week for the 3 of us?
Where do you think these 2 heat intolerant people decided to go?
Go ahead…..guess.
Las Vegas
Middle of the f@&king desert in the middle of f@&king July.

Been long day and week. Hubby had an ablation for his new Afib, where they thread up from femoral artery. Actually went great and he’s fine.
I was supposed to be getting a knee replacement Monday, but my 8.3 A1c is tooooo high. He said down to 7.5 before surgery.
so that’s been my last few days, but I’ll live.. Back to the bike at the gym like daily!

I thinks she was high toooooooIt’s taken me 20+ years to get my A1C down to 7.3.
Doc said she would like to see it at sub 6.0.
I thinks she was high. That’s all I can figure.
Unfortunately the gym is down a hill…looks huge to me. I’d never get back.AND……
If you would ride a bike TO the gym you would be killing 2 stoned birds.
AND.. if you had a basket and cup holder on that bike you could stop at Dunkin’ and get a sugary coffee drink and a half dozen donuts for the trip home.
So does this mean you are a geek, or just that you knew geeks? Or am I wrong in assuming codex was actually supposed to say comdex?codex
Ummm.. yeah…comdex. But I am a geek but not geeky enough to know what codex is so now I’m going to look it up.So does this mean you are a geek, or just that you knew geeks? Or am I wrong in assuming codex was actually supposed to say comdex?
As for Vegas, you know the old saying that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? My own observations tell me that saying is no longer true. It seems that what happens in Vegas eventually appears on the internet. It also seems that some of those things really should have stayed in Vegas. I've been scarred for life by haphazardly looking at some of the things that appear when you combine the word Vegas with the word strip while searching youtube. I mean, seriously, what kind of monster puts something like this on the internet? Have you ever seen anything less appetizing than this?
Dunkin has better looking donuts.
Bunco doesn't get the love it deserves. I think there needs to be a rule change of some sort. How about this: instead of passing the dice to the left when you fail to roll the required number, the other players have to play dodgeball. Last one standing gets the dice. I bet the Olympics would televise it then.Olympics in 10 days
I was just trying to find the bunco schedule
Cooking a lamb roast
Marinated it yesterday with rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic, paprika, pepper
In the oven at 4am on 100 proper degrees. So dinner time it should be good

smooshed up the herbs and garlicI’ve been looking at molcojetes for a long time….just haven’t pulled the trigger.
I like the stone aspect of them over wood.
Why? What did you do with a mortar and pestle?
