Oh My! And summer isn't even here yet! Wonder how large a burm you will have to build to dampen the noise? At least you could plant it with loverly things to make it beeuutiful!
Luckily, this is a once a year event, so I can't complain too much. It was just a bit shocking this morning. It's really a very quiet area, so no biggie.
Glad you had a good rest, Glow. XOXO

Parked out on his verandah. Occasionally making dashes for water ( the purple tub at the bottom ) he's all tired and sooky

102 F tomorrow, after a week of 80s. It'll hurt
Stay in with the fan on.

(Yeah I'm still a little jealous haha, I know I'm crazy)

Morning fam bam. How goes it for everyone else? Not bad here just ready for spring. The teaser days past few were pleasant but kinda manipulative of mother nature man. Ugh.

Wish I could go into hiding for the next two months

Took a 3 hour drive to the in-laws for lunch today. Lunch was good, and then we got back in the car for 3 more hours. What a day.
But it was worth it to spend some time with them, I guess. I'm just glad to be out of the car.

you are so lucky to have family who cook for you

mine just drink alcohol, lucky to get a stale cheese sandwich, which i make myself

I think I may be ill. My beard is trimmed to a reasonable length; I got a haircut (collar length, but short for me); and I'm buying a S&W SD9VE for which I'm applying for a carry permit (which, here in Indiana, is open or concealed carry). I may have to turn in my hippy liberal card.

assuming that is a firearm?

the beard and hair will grow back, difference between a good hair cut and a bad one is about 2 weeks

I graduated to old codger. I can relate to Maxine's meme's. Congratulations on the newest acquisition and the carry card. It is a handy thing to have that I hope you never have to cause to use :)

Morning y'all.

My son has become weird about the toilet being clean. He is now wearing his Batman cape and scrubbing it daily, he says he's called scrubby man. This is the real hero we need
OMG... I'm jealous. Does he dust and vacuum too? If so, I wan a scrubby man.

Morning everyone. I think I'm just getting over the sugar high I got from yesterday's dessert.

He dusts while scaring the cats with the swiffer duster thing. He is afraid of the vacuum unfortunately. May or may not have been because I threatened to suck him and all his toys up if he didn't clean up.

Parental scarring for the win

Oh boy is this going to be an adventure. I am so so lost when it comes to migrating my files. I can't figure out how to get the Mac into the sharing on the PC to let me move things manually and migration assistant wants to take 16 hours and made another login that wants a new password to get into. I cancelled the migration and am going to spend today just getting used to this and breathing a bit.

Yep. It's a Smith & Wesson 9MM. Holds 16 rounds in the magazine; comes with 2 mags. Has a fairly long trigger pull, but it's not meant as a match pistol, so that's ok.

For me, the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one is about 18-24 months. I don't like going to barbers.

Thanks, peng!

I haven't actually got either of them yet.

Waiting on a shop near my brother's place to get one of the SD9's in. Best price I can get near me is $375 with a 3% discount for military/retired military/police. The shop I'm going to get it at has it for $280 for military...etc. Yeah, it's 120 miles away, but it's not like I don't go to my brother's house on a fairly regular basis, so why not save $100 (that's several boxes of ammo). Just don't know when they're going to get one.

The carry card will take longer. I get fingerprinted on the 7th. That gets sent to the state police. They do the background check and sometime in late March to mid-April I should have the permit.

I hope I never have cause to use it other than practice. It's been a long time since I've fired a weapon (about 35 years), but when my brother, nephew, and I went to the range a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't displeased by my accuracy.
