Yes, and there's been alarming amount of volcanic activity in Mexico/Central America in recent months/years. I wonder if that's a sign that other hot spots might be at risk, or if those eruptions might take the pressure off other western hemisphere volcanoes. The active one in Hawaii is also very active right now.
