you can do dual verticals on the Shift. Works pretty well. See Todds vid on it.

Thanks Hank, I didn't know why I had 2 allen keys, I thought the big one gave birth an the trip from VaporBeast! The mead is getting to me
I tried t get a 36ga 3mm twisted SS316 coil in it but the ground screw heads were to small to trap the leads securely. Cap might not have fit anyway but I didn't get that far. Went with a 7 wrap spaced single wire build that went in with no issues. It's such a small area the way the top cap is cut out It might be to hot for anything more tan a single anyway, the single I have in it now is a quick hitting very warm vape.
I might go less wraps next time just to experiment but I'm happy with the way its performing, also noticed I haven't had a hint of leaking, seeping, weeping or condensation even with a very generous squonk. .
I tried the dual verticals that Todd showed.
Like a single 9/8 wrap 26 ga SS316l 2.5 mm the best.

I decided I actually sorta, kinda, positively maybe, like squonking. The Dripbox 2 is a very nice setup but the bottle bottom cover is wobbly and kinda loose. I have a 0.54 ohm dual coil in the Low Pro on it, the battery life leaves a little to be desired. The flavor is fair, but better than the dripper that came with the mod. The Dripbox 160w is better, I have a Derringer on it ( thank you again @1rudedog and btw, what juice was in the derringer? caramel or maple something?) and like it, battery life is better but size.....puts me in mind of the Disguiser with the squonk kit. I see Movkin is coming out with the nano/mini version of the Disguiser.
yeah battery life is not great but a bit more than the Coppervapes.
I just swap bottle and battery at same time. although I usually get 1.5 bottler per battery charge.

got mine today and have to go get a few drill bits to drill out the block of brass so the juice can get to the coils and cotton!just have to drill fast and use the drill press and not the handheld...hate when i break bits when using handheld drill...dangit!

or would you only charge to 3.7v/3.8v and vape through that down to a weak vape...
what do y'all find works for you and your battery longevity...
i'm coming from regulated usage so i probably will have a ton of questions...
ordered a silver tone coppervape, the v2 spares kit, and replacement bottles from FT (a very first for me also)...
if it matters i'm not a high wattage user (24 watts on a lost vape halcyon...use kanthal, stainless steel, on a hadaly, narda (clone), m-atty (clone)...
i can practice on a pico squeeze...

I just got into this Dark side of the Dark side (Squonking on RDAs) from MTL (mostly) so I'll be as useful as a $3 bill with advice around here. I have just regulated mods so for me, I charge my batteries fully and replace them at about the 40% charge left. I am considering buying a XStar charger, my understanding is that it actually "rejuvenates" tired batteries.
Sound great, but please don't go out of your way for it. BTW, I'm loving the Derringer, I'm looking thru my box of rda's to see if I can find any that I can drill out!

The Derringer V3 from FT. No drilling you just have to take some of the head off of a FDV pin.
And it is not technically a clone since there is no genuine one like it.

and if you do your build so you start out a bit hot on a fresh charged battery it stays vapable longer.
To me it seems easier to drill a 1 mm hole thru the 510 pin. Either way, Derringer V3 ordered!
