Does it take a 2m pin or 2.5?
2.5 mm FDV pin works fine with the goon clones I got.
Just have to grind a bit of the head off for best fit. Otherwise the atty will not sit flush.

Good atty but not a MTL atty if that is what you are looking for.
I bought a clone and liked it so well I got another one.
I got this one from FT.
https://www.fasttech.com/p/5757503
it is the 22 mm version they also have LP and 24's.

Sound great, but please don't go out of your way for it. BTW, I'm loving the Derringer, I'm looking thru my box of rda's to see if I can find any that I can drill out!

i have a couple more authentics...with copper top and a delrin top...sstop...lol...lotsa tops left over and the inner ring of course.have a brass one i got from chowder too.LMK...the brass one is a lil more cuz i have more in it.but shines up nice still.

add:i also got my lp goon from FT and hadda do a lil drilling but wow what a flavor machine.

got mine today and have to go get a few drill bits to drill out the block of brass so the juice can get to the coils and cotton!just have to drill fast and use the drill press and not the handheld...hate when i break bits when using handheld drill...dangit!

No shit on that. I would like to know what kind of metal is used on some of these attys. Extremely hard, some of them, and I have busted many times the value of a couple of them on good bits. Last fiasco was the Rafale X, either too loose a draw with 3 air holes, or too tight with 1. So obviously just punching a second air hole next to the 1 hole will be just right. As it turns out, it is just right, but getting there was costly. Finally handed it off to an expert, and after he busted a couple bits, he bored it out like a rabid beaver with an air drive stone...

Squonkified Tsunami 22 is vaping nicely in SS TC on a Dripbox 160. Dual 4mm 24 ga SS316 coils.
About .28 I think?

Took care of a slight issue with the Narda. It had a really annoying whistle to it when drawn through. A little buffing out with some 3M Scotch pad helped get rid of machining burs left behind. There's still a hint of a whistle at times but I figure a little more use and breaking in will dull that out. Found out the Otis top cap will interchange for the Narda top cap. The Otis cap is taller by a wee bit, ergo larger air chamber. I'm enjoying exploring the Narda, and Otis despite having broken the Otis deck. *chuckles* Also got a Hastur V2 now, with a working deck. It's fair but I'm still not quite sure what the swirly air flow design was about.

@Danimal77 , You might look at Fast Tech for a Velocity V2. They have them at a fairly good price for clones.

They are ok.
Would rather have another Oatty though.

Would rather have another .... *ahem* oh we're talking about rdas, erm, think I'm probably going to get another Narda or three, might get another Otis or two. I like Goons and they do real well for what they are, to a degree I can say they are somewhat the bomb diggity for me. Got two Goons now, not going to need more. Also got the Velocity V2s, an old "terminator" style rda which was with the cheap'o plastic squonker, an rda what come w/ the CopperVape mod kit.

Whew, seems like I wound up with a gaggle of some of the better rdas, or at least acceptable clones of them. I might get authentic Nardas if they're found 'cheap' *rolls eyes* Might even get authentic Goons later on, i saw those reasonably priced too. I'll forgo getting Velocity authentic, just on principle, they're way too over priced for a stamp of authentic, can get less than $10 clones that'll do close enough to suit me.

No, don't you worry none over what I was thinking of having, Bob. It wasn't quite safe for working environments, maybe not retirees either or strange homesteaders that dance in the moonlight skyclad. :)

Can always buy more cheap clones later - for now anyway

Ha! Clowns are a dime a dozen, or is it Cloonies? I can never 'member. All I know is, "Who cares what psychologists write on walls?" I'm liable to be set unto lithum salts soon. Hopefully, it'll not be a chemical lobotomy, rather have the bottle in front of me. ;) :)

I just got the Frankenskull clone from Fasttech today. The box and door is actually decent. Will have to see how the contacts and the 510 perform and hold up. I can't believe how frickin tiny this thing is!

I wasn't going to admit it, but I got one with the FT coupon yesterday :giggle:

Wankos are pretty good with dual 2.5 coils in them.
Not the snap in things.

Like a NarDa on steroids.

Much better to me than the Hadaly.
The little bitty Shift BF has grown on me a bit.
Took it and Chester out on the town today full of Cinnamon Danish Custard.

I'm one of the world's few NarDa haters, lol

Love the flavor, but too, I don't know. Too much DL?

And not into airy vapes, which is why I do not like the Tsunami

I'm in love with the Hadaly though. Got one authentic and three clones. The clones aren't quite up to scratch. They are good. The authentic is GREAT, for my style anyway

What you're saying JL, the Hadaly is worth the $70? I have one coming from FT...sometime this millenium:confused:, but if I like the draw on it (tight MTL), I wouldn't mind getting the authentic.

Still haven't built any of the two I got in the mail unexpectedly

For me it was. There are several subtle differences in the clone and the authentic. Looked close enough I thought they'd vape pretty much the same, but the flavor is just not as good in the clone for my builds and style of vaping.

Others may have a different experience.

I'm glad I splurged and got the authentic first, because based on the clone, I'd of used it and like it, but probably would not have gone for a real one and would be seriously missing out :inlove:

I figured I should, but to me, instant gratification takes too long!!!! I may just order one on ebay, the one from FT takes too damn long to get here.

Mine from FT came fairly quickly - for FastTech anyway, lol

My Pico Squeeze landed from FT after 7 friggin' weeks on god knows how many boats, planes and trucks and I gotta say that it is a great little mod for under $20.

The little white light is annoying as shit but it works well with my Origen 16. Very small mod and pretty damned light. Great intro box for anyone looking to try squonking on the cheap.

I'm going to put my REO Grand away for a while and use the Pico and a Coppervape. Interested to see how long the Pico will survive under heavy use!

I ordered a 10 pack of replacement bottles and a spare bottom plate for just over $5 total from FT, so I should be set for a while.

Thanks but I bought 10 :)
Also there are 2 different kits the one with a smaller diameter shank switch button and one with a larger shank one.
The V1 kit has the smaller shank one.
both my CV's are shiny alum and are V1.

@BreSha6869, let us know what kind of battery life you get one it. I really like the Dripbox 2, in spite of the sloppy fitting and rattling bottle cover but what really sucks is the battery life. I have a 0.45 ohm build in a squonkified Derringer and all I get is a couple hours from fresh charge to 50-60 % charge.

From what I've read and seen in reviews, it's not really the battery life. It's the reading of the charge the DB2 gives. If you pull out the battery and put it in a different mod it will give you a much higher reading than the DB2. It could be a firmware issue, but if that is the case Kanger should've addressed the issue by now. The DB160 doesn't have this problem.
