Both are great tanks. I own them both. The quality on the Silo is better and both give you nice vapes and can use any of Atlantis type coils that the starre or beast can run. You can't go wrong either way my friend

Can the Silo use the Starre coils?

Yeah the Morph and Silo are cool but for $40 plus ship it's just not in me to spend that much on a tank reguardless of build quality.
Ah, but what if the Silo or Beast are the endgame of tanks? That would justify the cost, especially if you eliminate buying two, three, four other tanks.

You might be right its a good point at this point I'm gonna wait and see what the triton looks like and might pick up an Isub polycarb just so I have something I can put on my Invader Mini its a really rugged mod but still afraid of breaking glass.

It was a month ago I was interested in a Herakles. Then the High Voltage caught my eye, and the Matrix. The Starre seemed to blow everyone away, and the Beast began rocking the crowd. Now the Morph and the Triton are on the horizon. At some point I've got to say "screw it" and leap onto one, and just accept that the next tank out will be the new buzz.

hahahah I hear ya man. So tough to keep up with it all. A month ago top fill was no where on the open market. Today everything is top fill as an example of how fast shit is moving. Regarding your question on Starre coils in the beast. I dont have any Starre coils to test for an absolute answer but I can state the following facts.
Both have the same base threading so the Atlantis coil def fits the starre and gives a great vape.
The Starre will not fit the Atlantis only because the top of the coil has to thread into the lower part of the Atlantis chimney so make it fit. So thats out.
The Atlantis fits the beast and WOW is that amazing especially with Nickle coils.
The Beast does not need threading at the top of the coil.
Having said all that, I am fairly certain that the Starre coils will fit but I am not 100% certain. The above facts seem to indicate they will.
I have some Starre pc parts of coils laying around. I can put one together tonight and see if they do fit.....
I bet the Starre DVC coils in the beast would be KILLER ahahahha

Enjoy

I bet they would. Have you solved the leaking issue for the Beast yet?

How do you like the airflow controller? My understanding is that it does not click into place, which puts me off a bit.

Once I got the new seal the Beast is great. I find that if I fill it too fast with a syringe it will flood slightly (one good hit at high power corrects it) but if I fill it a little slower, no problems at all. The airflow although does not have a click mechanism, the ring does have enough resistance so that it doesnt move unless you turn it. If you put it in your pocket it might turn a little bit but I cant see putting that tank in your pocket at all. With the large airflow I find vaping it at around 38 Joules or watts is nice because then you need most of the airflow it has. Of course that gives you even more vapor and flavor. This is certainly one of my favs at this time. I currently am rotating through the day between the beast with Atlantis nickel coils and the lemo 2 RTA. both give different vapes and I like that........

Why can't you put the tank in your pocket? Is it that much larger than a Subtank Mini?

Not much bigger than ST mini. I'm looking at both now. The beast is about half inch taller but either people think I'm walking around with extreme arousal or I impal myself if I sit before removing it lolol. Either way not a good thing for me lololol.

Just picked up a subox kit last night and loving it! The mod is a solid piece and I haven't experienced any dry hits so far with the v2 Kanger coils.

Thanks man! I am traveling for a wedding and didn't bring any vape gear with me. By the end of the night I was researching local vape shops and came across Venice Vapor Lab. Super cool store with friendly staff and good products if anybody lives in the West LA area.

Regarding the subox kit, I am thoroughly enjoying it so far. This is my first Kanger piece.

The white setup looks sharp, I hope the paint stays looking good! I've heard people have had issues with some painted mods (like the IPV Mini 2) with the paint flaking off, particularly if the tank leaks, which the Kanger is prone to do.

Thanks.

Regarding the paint, time will tell. I will be reporting back for sure if anything weird happens. Looked at the black kit but I already have a black sig 150 and eleaf 50w. Really digging the looks of the white kit.

Yesterday I finally got around to building the RBA head for my Subtank Mini.

No dry hits, no leaks.

Still has great flavor and vapor and it is not the liquid whore that it was with the OCC heads.

I filled the tank and started vaping with it about 7:00 P.M. yesterday.

Still vaping the same tank now and the way it fits, I think I will be able to vape the tank dry.

Has anyone tried the Tobeco Super Tank? (online $20.00)
After 2 weeks I now own 3 of these, they are fantastic.
This tank has taken the #1 spot in my half dozen sub ohm tank collection.

It's very very airy, top fill, has .2 and .5 coils and can use atlantis coils.
No leaking, no flooding, no need for a V2. The flavor is good enough that my wife gave up her dripper for one of these.

How big is that mod?
Is not to big in my hands and it can last for days depending on your builds. That's why I got it. But I was checking the EVIC VT, it looks really nice.
I bought the pro at vaporDna.com

Sad but true, I kinda go on autopilot when I wrap my coils. I just kinda grab what diameter Coilmaster form looks good and a likely piece of wire and go to it. It was around 5 wraps and came out to 0.56 ohms. Just enough wick to come in contact and cover the liquid channels. I primed the wick, attached to the base, filled the tank, waited about 3 minutes and started vaping/

I can't believe it's getting as little play as it is.
Atlantis V1 & V2, Starre, High Voltage and a Herakles.
And I've tried some tanks of a couple of friends, and I like this one the best.

No, but I just received 3 rba's for the "Sauce Code tank" (fits Atlantis) from VaporDNA and haven't tried them yet.
Do you have the Saucecode? If so, do you like it, thx
