Okay so even though we're not far out from the next gen of sub ohm tanks, like the current aren't good enough, thought I'd put in what I know about what's coming. The aspire triton will be able to use v2 Atlantis coils a shop owner told me, the new smok tank is crazy and has these like, triple and quad coil things. The new Starre is really just an improved design because it already can use the Atlantis, Herakles, smok, sega rba deck maybe, 100%, the Melo deck, and the ni200 versions of said coils. The new one will come with a couple nickel coils and a .25/.5 like regular like before. Top fill, but who cares about that. It's like temp control. It's a fad, I got the snow wolf just for that and I traded it for a dual parallel and dual series plus some little stuff. I got an IPv4 for $60 just so I don't waste the nickel Atlantis coils I bought. There's another version of them and they can hit 80w, with tc function. 5 pack was only $10. It's actually Aspire but under a name they use I guess. Here's the only place I've seen them and I kicked myself for buying the vaporshark ones, but whatever. I will use these because of the price and high wattage, but with the normal coils I use a mech all day. I prefer mech any time unless I have to use vv or tc obviously. I got my Starre when it hit the shops immediately, and I've never broken the tank and I've dropped it a lot haha. Only on my 3rd coil because FreeMax even says they'll last a month. I got 5 weeks out of my first .25 until it tasted bad. Don't use muffin man in it though, it fucks up the coils. Oh well. Personally I say it's the best one available, and the new one has improvements to the tank itself, even more airflow and tc coils. I like a cool vape sometimes so I'll keep the IPv4 but I'm over it as a really big deal. I got the ni200 kanger coils but only because someone sold me a $15 mini. Worth it. I enjoy that for flavor and the cool vape but nothing will beat the Starre for now. The new smok looks nice but if you can't use other coils I won't touch it. At least the kanger subs will take the sigelei elite tank coils. That ni200 can do 70w. I prefer that tank but mine was faulty and I got the mini right after, so essentially the same. Airflow is about equal if using the v2 mini, but the sig drip tip is huge. It won't fit on anything I can find. Anyways, Starre or nada for me considering I've only needed to buy one coil since it first came out, like I got it that first day and didn't touch my Herakles again. The mini is my backup and I traded basically nothing for a spare. I enjoy the flavor.

That is maybe the longest post I've seen on this site.

Seriously considered the Starre but took a flyer on the Beast based on solid reviews (which the Starte also had, for the most part). It came down to build quality and durability for me. We'll see in a week or so if I made a good choice or not.

The SauceCode tank is really nice. Great flavor and easy to fill. It has large fill channels so you can fill it with pretty much any tip you like. I'm still trying to figure out the juice control system since it didn't come with any instructions. The only down side so far is the drip tip is so damn short your lips touch the top cap when you vape. I'm not sure what they were thinking there. I just put an arctic drip tip on it and all is well.
To adjust the saucecode, when you take the top off,it lowers the chimney to seal the juice holes. When you put the top back on,even though it will look flush, keep turning the top and you will see the chimney rise up to fully uncover the coil holes.Had to figure that out and the flavor is amazing.Been using only 30 watts on it,(little over 3 volts),and it is a fantastic vape!
Hope that helps
Also have the new Smok tank pre-ordered as well as the Starre Pro.So many great choices!

Top fill isn't new, things go in waves guys. The new Starre will still be the best. With its ability to use like 5 other brands of coils there is no reason not to have it. And the pro has a better design with more airflow, plus it has its own ni200 since that's the stupid fad now. I got a snow wolf pretty quick but for a good deal so I had the tc option. Totally over it, traded it for dual series and a dual parallel set of boxes, and a couple little things. I got an IPv4 for $60 the day before the trade just for the price so I have the tc option but I want my full mech box all day, no mosfets just thick wire and high amp button. Best boxes I've had, though I love the sig150. It's a solid mod. Sold it so my friend would have a good setup instead of the crap he had. Here's a link for cheap tc coils made for the Atlantis by Atlantis but under another name, 5 for $10. I'm pissed I got the vaporshark ones but I have plenty of coils now

I wouldnt call TC a "stupid" fad. It's changing the industry, and the way certain tanks hit, such as the arctic. With a kenthal wire it gets hot, with the nickel, now your getting huge vape, flavor, and a cooler vape. It's an awesome movement, I personally think.

I agree. I couldn't vape the arctic with kanthal but with nickel I find it pretty damn close to perfection. Same goes for the uWell Crown. Now I waiting for some nickel coils for the saucecode to arrive because it's too warm a vape for me with kanthal.

Ok... TC works ok. Have juice holes wide open. IPV4 reads 0.31 ohms. Jouls set at 40 and temp at 398 degrees Fahrenheit. Atlantis 2 Tank chamber air intake wide open an tip air intake half open. First impression is that it's a little more restrictive on air flow over the Atlantis 2 0.3 ohm coils which is understandable since the coil air intake is half of the Atlantis 2 coil. Flavor is good. So my verdict is I will continue to purchase because price verses performance is great. I hope they come out with a lower resistance and change the coil base to have 4 holes or make the two larger.

No matter where you go, take your Vape!
Thanks for the thoughts my friend. Mine will be here Wednesday so I can try them out in a few of my tanks. I was thinking about the base with 2 air holes that you mentioned. I do have a few bases from when I was using the Starre DVC coils. Those have 4 air flow holes for the base. Wondering if by puling the base off (assuming it is just like the Atlantis bases that pull out of the grommet) and replacing it with a 4 hole base, if that would help it out. I most likely will try the coil in the Silo beast and Starre tanks since they have huge airflow but I can see these coils most likely will need a fair amount of power to get them cooking correctly

Does anyone own Aspire K1 tank? Based on BVC technology its easy to use and convenient to carry. Its ego threaded and having a removable drip tip.

I exchanged the bottom of the coils and does not seem to make a difference. That is understandable since you are restricted the same on both by the vertical inlet tube which is the same size. I believe the difference is in the coil chamber, possibly the inner diameter but I don't have a way to quantitatively verify that suspicion.

If by changing the bottom of the coil contact from 2 to 4 made no difference, then the restriction must be in the coil diameter itself. I believe the Atlantis coils and VS as well are in the 5/16 range. Thats what I found fits inside of the coil nice and snug. I use that size when I rewire my coils. If these new coils are smaller than that, it would make sense on why you are experiencing the restriction. Mine will be delivered today so I will give them a run later tonight. I am completely out of temp coils now and have been vaping back in power mode using original Atlantis coils in my beast. Its certainly different than the temp vape I have been experiencing now for the past 4 months. Looking forward to getting my temperature controlled vape back tonight (also will receive in the VS temp coils too thank god).

Just tried these coils out. Read .3 on my sx m and the vape sucked in the Atlantis and starre. Could would fit in beast. In both tanks they spit gurgle and git mouth full if juice. In my opinion fuck them. Sticking to VS or wind my own in the lemo 2. It was worth a shot for the money but oh well

Ok so they don't compare to normal VS Ni coils. I had nothing to compare to as all my prior experiences were on an RDA. I'm gonna order Sense Ni coils for my herakles and try them.

I read somewhere they're rated for 60 to 80 watts. Now I'm not sure why manufacturers are rating nickel coils with watts and not joules. Did you try cranking up the temp and joules to see if they vape better? Gurgling and juice in the mouth seem to indicate you're not vaping them at the right settings.

That didn't work. Putting these aside for the moment.

Now the VS coils seem different too. These have 4 air flow hokes in the base. Anyone remember if that's the way they always were or is this something new. Seem much airy than the last batch ????? Ugh. I don't do change well lolol

I'm gonna try that later tonight. My sx m only goes to 50 joules so hopefully that's enough. Lolol

All. Just to let you know the VS Atlantis nickle coils now have the 4 air flow base on them. Very airy so you have to crank up the power on these to get the flavor n vapor

Can you imagine how the triple coils will suck down the juice? That st up must seriously reduce juice capacity, too.
Probably the closest thing to a dripper i would think with all the aorflow and the amount of juice its going to eat up haha

Will probably fall a bit short of a dripper given the length of the chimney. I'll be interested in how these multiple coil devices like this one and the new Smok perform. 3 coils means 3 times the chance for one of them to go bad early, and if one goes bad, the entire atty is probably finished.

I agree about the triple and quad coils more things to fail and China's coil building isn't exactly perfect lol
Somebody is going to nail just the right tank design with the right airflow and the right multiple coils or incorporate braided coils within the stock head, or some other innovation I can't imagine, and it will be glorious.

In my quest to try every damn one... I just ordered two more sub ohm tanks. The T-VCT Sub-Ohm Tank by OBS and the Typhoon Tank by The Council of Vapor. I hadn't even heard of the T-VCT before. Anybody seen one in the wild yet. Looks pretty interesting besides the alien head engraving.
Still no buzz on here about the OBS T-VCT tank so though I would give you my impressions after 24 hours of use. If somebody is looking for a sub ohm tank to use on a 30W mod this is the one. Great flavor and good vapor at 30W. The factory coils really couldn't keep up at higher wattages. The stock nickle coils are ok. Using an evic vt at 550 degrees the wattage was consistently kicking down to around 32W and gave a similar vape to the kanthal coils. It just doesn't have the airflow of some of it's competitors.

The optional RBA deck is nice. Easy to build and easy to handle and assemble. The best after thought deck I have used. Still can't bump the wattage up much higher due to the restricted airflow.

If anyone is interested... they are in stock and on sale using coupon code "SMILE" here:
https://www.wetvapes.com/index.php/obs-t-vct-sub-ohm-tank.html
https://www.wetvapes.com/index.php/obs-t-vct-rba.html

I also received the typhoon tank and it isn't worth talking about.

Now the real question is, has anybody gotten a hold of the eleaf ijust 2 ni200 coils? Or any of the 3 different tobeco super tank ni200 coils? I am looking for the largest coil diameter atlantis compatible coil option and these are the only ones I havent seen or tried.

Don't worry about it. This cotton obsession is for those who are new to the tank game. It wasn't long ago ss cable and ekowool were the rage for wicks in a tank using sub ohm builds. The delta II is a decent tank especially at the price vaporbeast is selling them for. I didn't like the fact it was hard to fill and hard to see when it needed to be filled. I thought the coils performed well and would still use it if I could see through those tiny slots.

Unfortunately... yes. Working in a store you hear/see it all. My favorites though have been the rayon from the beauty supply store purchased in boxes that represented 500 year supplies, and the cotton of the month club. Every month they have a new kind of cotton that is even better than the old cotton. I had a guy bring in a ziploc bag full of unprocessed Egyptian cotton. He was so proud of that ugly, dirty, tiny bag of cotton that he paid $20 for seeds and all.
