Hope you're right! It's hard to see, but I assume the juice holes of the coil are below the window? Meaning I can drain it to the bottom of the window?
Yea i usually fill it when it gets below the window but ive gone below when i didnt have juice, i would just turn it on its side to make sure there was still juice.

Exactly correct. The coil is actually pretty low. I've taken mine almost to the bottom and it still never dry hitted. You good man

Both of the Acme tanks from iJoy use a unique airflow path. They are very different from the other sub ohm tanks and seem to provide great flavor at lower wattages than most. They are not a cloud chasers tank but do a pretty good job none the less. The flavor reminds me of the older genesis styled rbas. I kind of like them as they are very different when so many of these tanks are very much the same. I prefer the Acme Vape tank to the Acme-L for what it is worth. Just not the best name choice for the US market. Those with phobias of being blown up, crushed by large falling rocks, impaled on a cactus etc. might want to stay away.

I DIY as well, and have the same tastes with the type of juice as you have described in your post. And totally agree with you about the convenience over an RTA. Also agree that every now and then I come across a foul tasting 0.2 coil, but I much prefer them over the 0.5 which I don't like at all.

What you may not be aware is that there are 2 types of coils for the Artic, I use the dual coils and they don't even fire up until I hit 60w. It's possible you are using the single coil version.
That's funny that we have had opposite experiences w the 0.2 vs 0.5. I'm willing to keep testing them though, in the name of research. :) Mine are BTDC coils for sure. Thanks for checking though.

The super tank is getting all of the use at my house since I got it though. It weighs noticeably less than the Arctic and just feels better when I vape it. More open draw and slightly better flavor. The drip tip is more comfortable as well. I wish I could buy a 12 pack of these drip tips. I would use them on everything.

i'm learning that the Beast 1.2 ohm coils probably top out at 35 watts. Any higher and you get the burnt taste at the end of the hit that Subtank users are familiar with around 25 watts. Anyone else experience this same limit?

The battery drain in the IPV2 Mini seems manageable, though.

Wish i could give you insight but i didnt even use the regular coils, as soon as i got them i chucked it and used the atlantis v2, i figure the stock coils are identical to atlantis v1 coils.

On another note i am really loving the goliath v2 with the stock pre made coils, such flavor

How long have your Herakles coils lasted, and do you notice any difference in juice consumption?

The coils are lasting about a week. There is some increased consumption due to vaping at .2 but nothing mind blowing

The Tobeco was mentioned a few pages back, but I'll definitely be interested in hearing how it performs.
It's great. Love this tank. It doesn't lose flavor after 1-2 hits like my Atlantis and Arctic do. You can chain vape it at 60W and it keeps on chucking the flavor right until you run it out of juice or pass out.

Maybe you can tell me if it's the coils or the tank that makes the Atlantis so flavorless. I'm going to put a Super tank coil in my Atlantis as soon as I can get a pack.to see if that helps.

I have both the Horizontech Arctic Subtank BTDC and the Sense Herakles v1 both running at 0.2 ohms. I will say the the Herakles hits harder than the Arctic, but the Arctic seems to be more consistant when it comes to hitting for extended periods of time

Don't temp me. My only regret about the Super Tank so far is that I'm limited to vaping one juice at a time in it. I quickly came up with a solution for that. Why else would they make different colors? So it's easy to see which tank has which flavor in it. Duh.

Doesn't Fasttech have a bad rep?

Those Subtank top holes are tiny. That looks like a PITA to fill, even with a needle applicator.

Expect it in 2 months, Ordered a Evic Vt full kit from them 3 weeks ago was in stock I wont do any pre-orders from them. anyways they still havent shipped it out. apparently they lied on their actual stock they had cause they told me that they were out and I had to wait for them to get some in. This was 2 weeks after I purchased the damn thing.
Look into the iPV4 updates thread many ordered from gearworst and didn't get theres for many weeks after release. I think it was like almost 2 months or maybe longer by the time other Vu members actually received there iPV4 mods.

I don't have a problem with flavor on my Atlantis 2. I'm running the 0.5 ohm V2 coils at 30 watts with the lower cyclops holes not quite half closed and the tip air intake holes closed.

No matter where you go, take your Vape!

Mine tastes OK for the first hit then it loses half of the flavor it had on the first hit until I let it set for awhile. Noticed that my Arctic does the same just not as bad. Haven't noticed it at all on the Super Tank.

Some (store bought / overflavored) juices are just fine in the Atlantis. I use it as a test for overall strength of the flavor. If I can taste it at all in the Atlantis, then it'll be a nice flavorful (but not overflavored) recipe in other attys.

I DIY my liquids. I keep the same recipe regardless of Atty. So it's the same regardless of running it in a Nautilus Mini, Atlantis 2, Kayfun, dripper, etc.

Never used any subtank except for my new isub. That said it is a completely different style of vaping but I like it. Now that I'm on the path I'm thinking a kanger subtank is in my future as well, since I'm a tightwad I'll go for an ft clone lol.

I have about 5 different types of Atlantis coils and was using the project saicecode tank which was awesome!!!
Perfect airflow for a .2 ohm coil or rba head.
It fell. It fell and bent and cant be used any longer, before I get something else was looking for what other tanks would use he same coils, I know of the silo beast but was looking for other ideas and places that may carry the silo beast cheaper. 40$ in 2015 for a clearo just seams a little much considering I have a mountain of rbas.
