Never used any subtank except for my new isub. That said it is a completely different style of vaping but I like it. Now that I'm on the path I'm thinking a kanger subtank is in my future as well, since I'm a tightwad I'll go for an ft clone lol.
Ewwww. Do yourself a favor and save up for an authentic. By the time you get the clone you could have got your authentic. Fastech is shitty. Go to vapordna

Speaking as someone who did exactly what you are planning to do, i do not recommended it. I got a clone subtank and it is so shitty. The machining is sub par amd the afc ring fell off within the first 10 min

I have about 5 different types of Atlantis coils and was using the project saicecode tank which was awesome!!!
Perfect airflow for a .2 ohm coil or rba head.
It fell. It fell and bent and cant be used any longer, before I get something else was looking for what other tanks would use he same coils, I know of the silo beast but was looking for other ideas and places that may carry the silo beast cheaper. 40$ in 2015 for a clearo just seams a little much considering I have a mountain of rbas.
Triton maybe? You can still use your old atlantis coils

Mmmm not a huge fan of the aspire tanks, but I really dig the eleaf and Atlantis coils . think I'm gonna try and find a less expensive silo or just wait for the saucecode to be back in stock.

I've heard that the Atlantis coils will also work in a Herakles, gonna give them a try. I like the tank, but having to run 50 watts plus is a pain.

Really? That may just be it !! Thank you!
I called vapordna and they said the saucecode will be back in stock mext week sometime too, thing is awesome, plenty of airflow to rick a 0.2 and can come down to perfect at 25-30w

How you like it?

I like it more than the Atlantis. I just really prefer the tanks that don't look like sub tanks.

Hey All, thinking about adding a top fill subohm tank to my collection. I like my Atlantis (V1 & V2) and the Herakles, mostly 'cause the coils are interchangeable and they don't leak. Looking for a top fill with a larger capacity that uses the same coils and doesn't leak. All suggestions greatly appreciated.

I'm loving the Silo Beast. Flavor and vapor destroys the Subtank.

Is the Silo Beast so much better than the Atlantis 2 that it justifies me paying up to double the price of an Atlantis 2 for it?

the subtanks ive had are shit and the ones my friends have had are shit. spit back, and dry hits galore. on to your question about the silo beast vs atlantis 2 and is it worth the price difference. For me there is no comparison, i have had both, i still have and use my silo beast daily and i have sold my atlantis 2. For me the quality of the Beast is superior, the airflow and flavor is better, and the styling is better. the atlantis has that stupid drip tip. the silo looks great with any drip tip. so from my personal experience. yes the beast is worth the extra $20. its the main one i use other than the goliath v2 wich im using mainly to do a review on. its a great tank as well and for me its hard to choose between the two.11739519_987633257953705_952576351_n.jpg

I think the silo beast is way better than Atlantis 2! I have the Atlantis 2 an tried the silo beast and the vape alone was remarkably better on the silo

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a OBS T-VTC... has 6 ml capacity, top fill, air and juice flow control. Looks like a good tank.
ETA: It also has an optional RTA deck available for it for $13 that I'll order as well.

Well... I was just wondering. Obviously I have an Atlantis 2. I only use it when I'm not using my Silverplay, Cthulhu, or Russian 91%. Sounds like a worthy purchase for the future.

That's where I'm at with the sub-ohm tanks as well, its an easy satisfying vape for lazy days,

I have an Atlantis 2 and I do not know why but it is probably the last of my tanks I reach for, the flavor is just not there compared to the Starre, Herakles, or the Ijust 2 I currently use daily. Maybe it's because I have the 5ml extension on it as I broke the glass on it the first day.

The farther the vapor has to travel the less tasty it becomes! So the extension may have to do with it, I like the flavor the stock Atlantis 2 has....

I still dont see the Smowell HatTrick in the list of Subtanks ;)

I love the Silo Beast. I also just received the vapor DNA sauce code. I think that the sauce code has very good flavor as well. I haven't had it long but so far am very happy with it. I haven't put a ni200 coil in it yet. I just have used the coils that come with it. The rebuildable coil is pretty interesting, it is designed to be rewicked. Both tanks in my opinion beat the Kanger sub tanks by miles.

I was waiting for a review on the SAUCECODE, I probably buy a couple. Have you experienced any leaking?

I have the Saucecode and absolutely hate it with the stock coils. The vapor is way to hot for me.

Do you like it with the RBA section?

It does not leak at all. Mine isn't hot at all either. I run it at about 24 watts.

I didn't buy the RBA section. It comes with a rebuildable head, which I also haven't tried.

Eww, thanks bro. Unfortunately some of us learn lessons for others. Will find something else then, when I get a higher power mod I'll probably look at the Arctic more, 40w I dont think would be quite enough.

I am not a fan of the original ST Mini, but the V2 is damn nice. The vertical coils are better than the horizontal ones. No dry hits. The RBA is much better as well. It's my new daily driver.

I struggled with this myself, especially since the Freemax Starre has been getting such good press. But the build quality of the Beast is noticeably superior to other tanks I've handled, the airflow is tremendous yet still highly adjustable, and the hits are very smooth with no hiccups. Flavor and vapor are awesome, and it just looks flat out badassed. I'm very happy with it

I plan on trying out the new coils, but I'll be honest, I've tried the Subtank since getting my Beast and the airflow now just seems to be completely choked off for me. It's kind of like when I switched to the Subtank to begin with --- my Nautilus just couldn't match it.

Good day All
My take on the Silo Beast is awesome. This tank in my opinion definitely beats out the Atlantis in every fashion. Havent tried the new Aspire Trinton so thats out of the equation for now. I enjoyed the Beast with the Atlantis coils in it very much. I then started putting the VS nickel coils in the Beast and it got even better. Then VS changed the design on the Atlantis Nickle coils for more airflow (4 hole base and much larger ID of the coil). Now in order to get the correct performance out of the Beast I have to turn the air flow wayyyyyyy down to keep the flavor to my liking and the power cranked way up.... That results in that shitty whistle you get when the air flow is closed to far. So the Beast with the new VS Nickle coils sucks so I use it for the cotton coils and its still very good but cannot use it in temp mode. I have been using my Starre tank more recently with the VS Nickle because you can close the air flow way down, get great flavor and avoid that annoying whistle. This tank is back into my all day user and loving it still. Actually I just ordered the Billows V2 RTA as I am becoming more and more unhappy with the quality and variability I keep getting with the stock coils. It seems as they progress through todays age, coils are lasting a shorter period of time and the vape quality is not what they use to be. Thought I would try some coil winding to my preferred specs to get the flavor and vapor I am looking for

So 2 days ago I picked up the RBA for the Beast (the Segatank coil). Its a pain to build on due to its size but the flavor is good! You'll notice a reduction in airflow compared to the Atlantis V2 coils but it's still better than the subtank mini

That whistle is annoying. Irritating that the TC coils don't work like they did before. I was considering a TC mod and now it seems moot for the Beast.

Yea I hear ya. I am pretty bummed about it too. I did try try Atlantis clone nickle coils from sweet vapes and they pretty much sucked but for 10 bucks it was worth a shot. I am trying to take the original VS nickle coil housing and rebuild them with new wire and wick so I can enjoy it again. I am very close but not perfect yet. The wire is def 26 gage, 12 wraps and the cotton is tricky to get enough to keep it from flooding but not too much that you suck on gym socks all day. I am hopeful the Billow V2 will solve some of this while I try to figure out how to use the beast in temp because it is such an awesome tank and the quality is top notch.

I hear you about the rewicking tightrope. Walked the same line when I rewicked stock Subtank coils, and it seemed to be an exceptionally fine line given the coils' tendency to dry hit and the Subtank's proclivity for leaking.

I DIY my liquids. I keep the same recipe regardless of Atty. So it's the same regardless of running it in a Nautilus Mini, Atlantis 2, Kayfun, dripper, etc.

Sent from my AT100 using Tapatalk
That's exactly why I use the Atlantis as a test. Most liquids have enough flavor in my other devices but need a little extra total flavoring for the Atlantis. The little extra flavoring doesn't make it unpleasant in my other attys so that way I have a mix that works in all of my attys, including the atlantis.
