UPDATE:
just got the MATRIX SUB OHM TANK BY HIGH VOLTAGE...
Here's what I think about this tank, its definitely different from the herkales, the herakles gives you more of a hybrid rda/tank experience, the MATRIX is a 100% RDA tank.... Currently using the .2 ohm coil, I tried using it on a sig 150 its just not there, I slap the tank on my unregulated box WOW, that's where it shines, this tank IMO is a RDA replacement, the airflow on this tank is ridiculous, the flavor is a little bit muted with airflow all the way open... But over all its a beast, its all stainless steel, vapor, flavor WOW....this tank is definitely a mechanical/unregulated tank...

Soon I think I'm just gonna clean/boil this Kangertech Subtank up and all the goodies that came in the box I still have, coil or two and the needed hardware for either coil options and send it off to a new home. Hours of use? Like 3 or 4 hits, 3 or 4 times, like new.

Just noticed the drip tip wasn't snaped in tight all the way down but no issues there. Open for trade ideas or paypal cash offers.

I just put mine back in service only because it's the only one with occ nickel coils. Just picked up my sx m mod today and put on the subtank. This tanks kicks some serious ass now.

Sounds like a nice unit, but when you talk about the difference between a "hybrid rda/tank" and a "100% RDA tank," what exactly do you mean?

Hey! it's just Ray...

I used mine most of the day with one coil and it did pretty good. Looking forward to doubling up the coils when this single one starts nutting up.

The herakles gives me a rda/tank experience that's what I meant by hybrid, half tank Half RDA, the MATRIX IS PURE RDA, the coils on the matrix 4.5 in diameter dual vertical spaced out, nichrome, the herakles has 4.5 in diameter vertical parallel coil, the herakles gives you more flavor and vapor at 50 watts to 75 watts, the matrix on the other hand vapes well with with my mech box,IMO, keep in mind I'm using the .2 ohm coil in the matrix, maybe the .6 will be a lot better...
AND this tank gets really hot with my sig 150....

I think I get it - you're saying the Matrix seems to only want to perform on your mech but the Herakles is at home on the regulated box?

Exactly!!! Like what I said I have a .2ohm coil on the matrix and .6 on the herakles, the .2ohm head are dual vertical coil nichrome... For some reason is more flavorful on a unregulated box with the .2 coil, maybe in the future, high voltage will utilize parallel coil...on the matrix and high voltage tank

But wouldnt it the same on a regulated box if you just turn up the watts? On your mech mod your throwing 84 watts at the matrix with a .2 ohm coil if the batt has r.1 volts. If you set you reg box to 84 watts is it any different?

Cool, glad you've found a use for both. I've got an Arctic clone on the way (read some good reviews about it compared to authentic), hoping it's enough to push me over the edge and get on board with these new-gen clearos...now that I've done the wick trick the Subtank is *almost* doing it for me as an out & about device, but I doubt I'll ever ditch the drippers completely.

Melo = Meh-lo. Don't know why I wasted the money. It's a low grade Atlantis. Arctic is still my favorite of the ones I have tried.

There's no difference in VAPOR, WITH a fresh battery I'm pulling 88.2 watts 4.2 volts on a mech mod, on my sig 150 same ohms, same watts 88.2 its giving me 4.5 volts on a consistent basis, and that's when the flavor changes....and the tank gets really hot!! I found it soothing for me to use this tank with .2 coil on a mech mod,I can suck on it longer, get more vapor and flavor, and not hot, considering the voltage drop, its really compatible with a mech mod IMO... Remember this is the .2 coil...now I understand why rip trippers said that the .2 coil on the arctic taste like shit....
The manufacturers rate this tank from 20 100 watts, yes the vapor is there but the flavor will definitely disappears,IMO I hope I'm not confusing vapers, vaping is very subjective, u may like something that I will not like and vice versa..... So do ur research take ur time, and buy whatever soothes ur needs

Ok another UPDATE....
I replaced the .2 coil with .6 now vaping it on my sig 150 50 watts 5.7 volts,, what a difference, its so similar to the herakles, the vapor is same since i can draw longer, WOW, . , if u want flavor go with the .6 IMO... The tank doesn't get hot anymore, flavor is amazing,I'm finally getting the herakles experience!!! IMO

I think you'll like it. For me, I've found it takes about a tank of juice to get the most flavor out of the coils. Seems like they take a bit to break in. Be prepared to go through juice like crazy. The Arctic and Starre are the reason I have started making my own juice.

Not a problem - been mixing my own for some time, as between the wife and I we can kill 20-25 ml a day...

I took advantage of the Ecigave $22 shipped deal for a Herakles can't wait. I own a Delta 2, Maganus, and a Smok VCT and I use the $20 VCT 95% of the time with the occ coils I have X2 dual horizontal pack coming today to try. Oh and Thevapingdevil is one awesome guy he welcomed me and my wife into his home and fed us and made us juice great dude!

So,in an unexpected turn, my Atlantis has made a resurgence in my daily rotation. The Arctic is still one of my main players, and I've been giving my Starre a break since I ride it pretty hard and don't have coils for it (yet). I recently received my Atlantis back that I had loaned to a buddy who was wanting to try vaping, and I replaced the coil with one of my MELO coils. Now mind you, my MELO has been collecting dust as I haven't been getting the performance I was expecting out of it. Putting those coils in the Atlantis seemed to have brought it back to life! the flavor is on par with even my Arctic or my Starre, if not just a hair under now. Granted, I am not using one of my daily rotated flavors (I have e-liq Cube Southern Comfort in it right now). It's absolutely chucking vapor right now, and I haven't even pushed it past 27 watts on the IPV mini v2. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised by this and think I have enough of a stable filled with sub-ohm tanks that I can keep the other newer ones coming out at bay. I am satisfied so far with what I have, so these next ones coming out the gate had better impress the hell outta me.

That's exactly what I found when I put Melo coils in my Atlantis. I did find that they lasted only half as long as Atlantis coils so I'd be interested in hearing how yours faired out

Should be good to go then. Vaping Looper with these tanks was getting pretty expensive. Found a clone recipe I'm going to try this weekend.

I spent the day researching the Sub Tanks and I ended up going with Kanger, I have bought Kanger stuff from the start the good the bad and the ugly. I also really enjoy my Aspire Tanks but I can hardly wait to check out this sub ohm vaping with the Kanger.

I use 80 VG based mixes at 21 watts. It would do ok if you only hit it every 2 minutes. If you try sooner there is a good chance you will get a dry hit. That's using the .5 OCC coil
I was having alotta trouble with dry hits on my sub nano. Someone suggested to me to take a tooth pick and push the wick in the two juice wells about 1/2 way in. I did, and no more dry hits! I chain vape it at 22 watts with 90/10 vg. Worth a shot?

God damnit, i remember now why i didnt like the subtank. So much juice spraying in my mouth, anybody else get this? I primed it correctly and without doing the needle trick at 25 watts i got so much spitback. Then burnt on the next hit. Let it rest a lil bit n then spitback again. Did the needle trick n now no more burnt hits but the spit back is still there.

Odd...my mini isn't much of a spitter. Needle trick is finally letting me get 25-27 watts, I was stuck at around 18 and taking a 2 minute break between tokes previously.

Mine does that, but only for maybe 5 hits on a newly primed coil. After that it's fine. I use 80/20 VG/PG juice.

Same with mine. The needle trick did work on the original coil. Was able to vape at 27 watts. Then got the SX M with temp so I picked up a nickle coil. Did the needle trick, vaped at 26 Joules and burnt the SOB out in less than one day. :/. Can say that the nickle spit less than the original coil if that helps at all. I also have the ST mini and that one spits like a mother...

I put the subtank in the drawer because a) no matter my tricks, first it leaked and then it spewed, not spit. There is a long thread here on ways to fix that. But looking at where the juice ended up, I'm certain the problem is leaking past the coil. The sub ohm coils all seem to have the same sort of oring on the bottom and maybe that is it. Or maybe it's mismatched threads. In any event it flooded below the coil. I hope someone has ideas on how to solve that problem. Meanwhile I have better alternatives.
But I would recommend changing the coil and making sure it is firmly installed.

Yeeah, that's why it's in the drawer with the other junk. It's just frustrating to buy something and have it be unusable. Sometimes it seems like they are selling great ideas, not great results. It's not like the kanger subtanks are cheap.

Its just so convenient, flavor and clouds isnt as good as my goliath but i filled it once n it lasted me 3 hours. In the same time i would have to have filled my goliath 6 times at least. But also 4 mil tank vs 6 mil.

I've decided to stick with what I have for now. The rate these new tanks are coming out is crazy. I have a few Subtank mini tanks, 2 Arctics, and 2 Starres. All three with at least 35 coils in reserve. Of the three, I've been liking the Arctic best so far.

So, my results with the Herakles are a bit disappointing. Performance is ok but not spectacular. But the inner chimney is attached (welded?) to the top cap crooked. I got it lined up ok to screw on the base, or so I thought. But the coil cross threaded on the top. And screwed together, it was obviously misaligned. This is a manufacturing issue. Contacted the seller, but Sense should be making it right.

I tried the High Voltage was not impressed. The drip tip is real wobbly. Changing the top airflow you have to remove the tip. Just not feeling it
