Just in case anyone didn't know.....Ray has coils for sale which are some of the finest looking I've ever seen....!

At really incredible prices considering the work involved to make them....!
and here they are ;)...I still have tonight and the morning so there may be some changes or adjustments made but so far...

Oh really... I just may hit him up if he offers Aliens... I have never been able to make those....
...It may be a bit, I wont offer things I cant make perfect...Im not happy with some the coils I just made for inspects so I may end up remaking a few of them. I dont like things going out that I personally wouldnt post as coilporn.

Inspects will be the first person to get a pair of Corrugated coils from me...I havent even tried them yet...:vino:

So what's the overall consensus on the whole tilted post thing? I email sts and they said they might have replacement decks by end of next week, am wondering if I should go ahead and use this one in the meantime or just put it aside and use the larger deck? Of the 4 decks between my black and stainless this is the only one that is tilted. Thoughts?IMG_20160410_193736.jpg

A few people have had decks like that.

As long as the insulator looks intact. Go for it until you get the new deck.

If you get janky ohm readings don't vape on it.

Yeah, I would use it. Just curious...loosen the 510 pin and see if you can straighten it and tighten it back down.
Gave it a shot but it didn't change. Built some coils on it and it seems to be holding steady around .19 (fluctuates a bit from .18 to .19 on my 521 tab). By janky ohm readings I'm assuming more movement than that yes? Gonna vape it till sts can send a replacement. Also have both the larger decks if need be.

While here, one other question regarding the inner juice flow ring. If I understand correctly there are two different sized holes, however I can't for the life of me figure out any size difference between the pairs? Is one set wider or longer?

Can't wait to try them, Ray.

I checked the mail this evening, my clapton coils arrived from VapeNW yesterday, I'll try them tomorrow. They certainly don't have any coil porn worthiness though...;)

The juice ring on mine have the same size slots on it. When you're putting the tank together make sure you have the slots lined up as it can move and have a cross section in the path of the juice.

Oh I love to mix and match, now ready to fill and Vape.

Also crossing fingers for a gold Boreas to be released. A black and gold mix would really be sexy!

I changed the o-rings for the decks. I realized why they were broken in the box, and maybe some others have too. They used the wrong size.

It wasn't even close. They used the o-ring for the chimney section, where it meets the top piece above the glass.

It's thicker and much smaller diameter. I have no idea how they even stretched it far enough to get in the grooves.

Anyway, hopefully they have stopped that nonsense. The deck is also a bit tighter to push in and pull out with the thicker one in there. Just slightly.

They tell me it won't be a problem anymore.

I have a tiled post deck as well and it works fine. I think they just goofed on some of them. It's not hurting anything by my nit pickedness. I don't want to go through the whole customer service and all that stuff since it isn't hurting anything as I said. It's not 100% perfect but oh well.

I love the boreas. I'm very close to selling my BFT to a friend who wants it just so I can buy a second Boreas. It's not as wide open as the bft and it doesn't produce as much vapor as the bft but dog gone it is close and the vape is so good. A nice warm saturated vape everytime. I'm so impressed the this RTA.

Roxy, what did you have in mind regarding the Merlin?

What would be different than the Boreas?...is it a smaller RTA with similar features?

I spent the day gutting the DNA200 board, screen, lipo and buttons out of the SDNA200 V2 and transferring them into a 3D printed enclosure I designed on the fly with a Varitube 510. Jesus christ, the board has never failed me but the mods always tank. Hopefully the Efusion Duo 1,300mah 3S / 2S 18650 is a good one. 510 seems sturdy, so there's always that.

I put my first framed staple build ever in the Boreas today and it's rocking out angrily, 200W on a .32 build and I'm loving every second of it. Such thick coils. Had to use a 3mm screwdriver instead of a 3.5mm the wire was so thick, but it vapes amazingly.
never had a problem with varitube 510 my last 3 mods have them .

BY NO MEANS AM I SAYING I BELIEVE THIS MAN'S CLAIMS.

Someone just sent me this on Reddit.

"Hey man, just read your reply, very nice! I'm one of the Beta Testers for the Supreme and the tank you tested is actually the fourth design. When BJ first sought out to design a new creation, one of the engineers quit Steam Crave and went to another company. Right when we were working on the third design, the Boreas was released. A couple of members of Steam Crave, whom we were working with, told us the story, and how it was almost a direct reproduction of the first design. We were all in shock, but not surprised. But that's ok.... like I said in my post, there's a reason why it was scrapped.... and one video reviewer showed the reason, unbeknownst to him.... it leaks. The Supreme is a result of a grand effort.... Steam Crave's customers..... what you hold in your hand is what I affectionately call "the people's atty"..... customers talked, Steam Crave listened, and eight testers with various backgrounds scrutinized it to the final product.... And even now, after the production release, the testers are STILL hard at it.... The Supreme is truly a "labour of love"..... I'm not worried about the Boreas, water (or e-liquid) seeks it's own level..... The Boreas, the Hastur and the Bellus can all sit quietly in a room together..... the Supreme reigns supreme, it has an army backing it.... ;-)

Cheers!"

I've seen the leaked steamcrave design with my own two eyes and I'm not shocked at how 'similar' it ISN'T to the Boreas. My Boreas doesn't even leak, and this guy kinda seems like a butthurt fanboy and he's full of shit. This was a PM to my reddit account in response to a comment I made stating I did not believe Roxy stole her design. Roxy, I have no idea why people are all uppity over this.

They are uppity over this because the Boreas kicks ass, Is taking their share of the market & probably pissed they did not come up with the Boreas themselves!
OH FYI Subtank supply has the black in stock & has lowered the price to be the same as the Stainless

It seems deeper than that. There's a bunch of people saying the Alleria is a stolen Wotofo Serpent with a stolen Griffin deck (even though the Alleria deck is smaller and has glass around it, totally logical.. not really) as well, so maybe it's just people who don't like Augvape. Or maybe this is a conspiracy started by those people at ECF just to try and smear Roxy, which is exactly what I believe it likely is.
