...It may be a bit, I wont offer things I cant make perfect...Im not happy with some the coils I just made for inspects so I may end up remaking a few of them. I dont like things going out that I personally wouldnt post as coilporn.Oh really... I just may hit him up if he offers Aliens... I have never been able to make those....
So what's the overall consensus on the whole tilted post thing? I email sts and they said they might have replacement decks by end of next week, am wondering if I should go ahead and use this one in the meantime or just put it aside and use the larger deck? Of the 4 decks between my black and stainless this is the only one that is tilted. Thoughts?View attachment 46913
Gave it a shot but it didn't change. Built some coils on it and it seems to be holding steady around .19 (fluctuates a bit from .18 to .19 on my 521 tab). By janky ohm readings I'm assuming more movement than that yes? Gonna vape it till sts can send a replacement. Also have both the larger decks if need be.Yeah, I would use it. Just curious...loosen the 510 pin and see if you can straighten it and tighten it back down.
Mine is like that, but it works fine.So what's the overall consensus on the whole tilted post thing? Inspects will be the first person to get a pair of Corrugated coils from me...I havent even tried them yet...![]()
The juice ring on mine have the same size slots on it. When you're putting the tank together make sure you have the slots lined up as it can move and have a cross section in the path of the juice.Gave it a shot but it didn't change. While here, one other question regarding the inner juice flow ring. If I understand correctly there are two different sized holes, however I can't for the life of me figure out any size difference between the pairs? Is one set wider or longer?
That does look very good, I may have to get a black Boreas just for that look.Oh I love to mix and match, now ready to fill and Vape.
Also crossing fingers for a gold Boreas to be released. A black and gold mix would really be sexy!

Yeah, love how easy the AFC ring is to swap, really takes it up a notch. That does look very good, I may have to get a black Boreas just for that look.
I changed the o-rings for the decks. I realized why they were broken in the box, and maybe some others have too. They used the wrong size.
It wasn't even close. They used the o-ring for the chimney section, where it meets the top piece above the glass.
It's thicker and much smaller diameter. I have no idea how they even stretched it far enough to get in the grooves.
Anyway, hopefully they have stopped that nonsense. The deck is also a bit tighter to push in and pull out with the thicker one in there. Just slightly.

Ur design was 2 big holes?I'm convinced the juice slots are the same size, too. I don't actually know why the final one has 4 instead of 2.
Ditto...looks really nice...!Yeah, love how easy the AFC ring is to swap, really takes it up a notch.
On the black top cap I'm actually using the drip tip from my Bellus. I like the Silver top of it.

Right? BORALIS? LOL..Hmm.
I really enjoy the NO DRY HIT aspect of the Boreas......I have a tiled post deck as well and it works fine. I think they just goofed on some of them. It's not hurting anything by my nit pickedness. I don't want to go through the whole customer service and all that stuff since it isn't hurting anything as I said. It's not 100% perfect but oh well.
I love the boreas. I'm very close to selling my BFT to a friend who wants it just so I can buy a second Boreas. It's not as wide open as the bft and it doesn't produce as much vapor as the bft but dog gone it is close and the vape is so good. A nice warm saturated vape everytime. I'm so impressed the this RTA.
Right? BORALIS? LOL..
Right! I just let it rest on the deck like a dripper. I don't put cotton under my coils much if at all. No leaks, no dry hits. Even 90w and it's fine.I really enjoy the NO DRY HIT aspect of the Boreas......![]()
Roxy, what did you have in mind regarding the Merlin?
What would be different than the Boreas?...is it a smaller RTA with similar features?
Same here...the only thing I had to change was my nic content....wow...that RTA will provide a wild nic rush if your not careful....Right! I just let it rest on the deck like a dripper. I don't put cotton under my coils much if at all. No leaks, no dry hits. Even 90w and it's fine.
Single coil, YES....!Yes, it's 22mm, single coil. Very different from Boreas
never had a problem with varitube 510 my last 3 mods have them .I spent the day gutting the DNA200 board, screen, lipo and buttons out of the SDNA200 V2 and transferring them into a 3D printed enclosure I designed on the fly with a Varitube 510. Jesus christ, the board has never failed me but the mods always tank. Hopefully the Efusion Duo 1,300mah 3S / 2S 18650 is a good one. 510 seems sturdy, so there's always that.
I put my first framed staple build ever in the Boreas today and it's rocking out angrily, 200W on a .32 build and I'm loving every second of it. Such thick coils. Had to use a 3mm screwdriver instead of a 3.5mm the wire was so thick, but it vapes amazingly.
well I think they are to busy right now . not even one word about it . or when to expect at least some info.Yes, it's 22mm, single coil. Very different from Boreas
22? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYes, it's 22mm, single coil. Very different from Boreas

ordered another batchelor .
22? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Why not?Single coil tanks don't need huge decks, do they?
Some peeps have single coil on the BOREAS?
