Simple new recipe I just mixed with flavors I can actually get my hands on:

Maple Cake

Custard (Crema Pasticcera) (FA) 1.00
Maple Deluxe (TPA) 3.5%
Powdered Sugar (OOO) 1%
Sugar Cookie (FW) 1%
Super Sweet (CAP) 0.75%
Vanilla Tahity (FA) 1%
Yellow Cake (FJ) 3%

Total flavors: 11.25%

(FJ) is Flavor Jungle, apparently they are selling some flavors labeled as their own. Initially I thought it was an FE flavor. Probably the same thing anyway.

I sampled this on the back of my hand and it was outstanding. Gonna vape a bit of it in a minute, just off the shake.
Ooooo, this looks gooooood! Believe it or not, I do not have FW Sugar Cookie! I’ll do a few subs, but it looks fantastic!

Thanks! I think it's going to be a keeper for me. Might be a bit sweet for you, as written! :) (Hard to tell how it's going to steep out as far as sweetness goes.)

ETA: I think I taste alcohol in this mix. I'm wondering if the TFA Maple Deluxe is the issue. Might have to remove the cap and let it get some air.

JF (or FJ... same thing) is a nice yellow cake... mild but at least it doesn't have nasty stuff like FW. Sugar cookie should go great with that. Nice recipe (I love maple... need to order some for french toast)
Mixed a few recipes today:
Tobacco mix (my everyday morning vape)
Chocolate tangerine mint (with cream)
Lemon meringue cookie
and a simple new one: RF strawberry milkshake + WF banana puree

I haven't been on in a while, but I mixed up some 120mls on 5-30.

HH Strawberry Milkshake
Vape John's Rocket Man (modified)
Bombies' Kiss the Ring clone
HH Creamy Forest Fruit
Leonard's Mother's Milk
XxXLEONIDASXxX's Blueberry Cereal

Hi there, HH! How have you been? We've missed you around here!

So... just wanted to get some more activity on this thread.
What recipes (that you created) are your favorites? Even if you took another recipe and modified it (your own version) feel free to post that too. Most of mine are my own (very proud of that) but it took a lot of trial and error to get those right. I will post them later tonight (but wanted to get this going) You don't have to post the actual recipe... just give us a general idea.

Mixed a couple of 120mls. I said I was going to stop "experimenting," but I guess I should have known better.

Two new recipes, Solo Punch (Solo standing for Strawberry, Mandarin Orange, Lime, and Royal Orange) in a light (FA) custard and ginger ale base, and a redeveloped Tiramisu Cream that uses only flavors I have set aside in a small box that I can get to.

@VapeOn1960 here are my favorites that I created from scratch:

Lemon Sandy (a lemon sandwich/shortbread cookie, came out of the fracas of everyone trying to clone DLLT, but at the time I'd never tried DLLT)
Strawberry Cream (self-explanatory)
Tiramisu Cream (the original was a heavy coffee/cake/custard/dark cocoa mix; this is the one I reworked today)
Quincy (coconut caramel chocolate chip cookie, imo a dead ringer for Freeman Ruth's Loot)
Cinnaflakes (cinnamon breakfast cereal and milk)
Candy Cane Cheesecake
My take on HIC's Pink Bubblegum

@nadalama , thank you. I do a similar lemon cookie (in fact, going to do a SFT of MB lemon tart someone gifted to me... see it will fit in for this) Glad you mentioned coconut... love it but don't have any... going on my BCF wishlist (along with butterscotch ripple)
I forgot to post mine so here goes:
peanut butter banana pudding w/vanilla wafers
lemon licorice butter mint w/marshmallow
chocolate tangerine butter mint w/cream
and of course my tobacco mix (FA Soho, PUR sweet tobacco with caramel and vanilla
Can't wait to try the "Quincy" recipe. I would try "candy cane cheesecake" but just lobe LB white chocolate peppermint so much (and it's a "one-shot)
I have a good peach pie recipe and an ongoing battle to perfect my apple pie (both include "a'la mode")

Nice, what's up with that Pink Bubblegum? I have 2 BG recipes I've messed with, but neither one is all that great.

I believe this is the version I've mixed most often. I reduced the overall percentage to about 12.5% for the last time I mixed it, but I think this is better at 16.25%.

@HeadInClouds used FA Cinnamon (this is wrong, he uses TFA Cinnamon Spice) and FA Orange, iirc, but I like the candy-ness of TFA CRH, and TFA Mandarin Orange was what I had onhand at the time I first mixed this. I liked it that way, so I kept it. Looks like I also added the Marshmallow.

I think his total percent of flavors is somewhere around 6%, but that's just not enough flavoring for me.

There's a whole big thread here on the forum about his mix. I'll see if I can find a link

Unless you've followed this same trail before, you will not believe how these particular flavors come together to make old-fashioned pink bubblegum. I would never have guessed in a million years the flavors that go into it..

Here it is:

If you want a recommendation for a great coconut, try Vape Train's Desiccated Coconut. Thanks to @wildgypsy70 I finally have a coconut I really love. I believe her other favorites are Molinberry Palm Coconut and Flv Sweet Coconut.

My new Tiramisu Cream is awesome! Sweeeeet, though! :) Will see how it steeps out. May not even need that Super Sweet, but we'll see.

Almond Cookie (SC) (WF) 1.3%
Brazilian Coffee (SC) (WF) 0.85%
Cornish Cream (VTA) 1%
Double Chocolate (Dark) (TPA) 0.75%
Ethyl Vanillin 10% (TPA) 1%
Omega Chocolate (Flavor Jungle) 2%
Super Sweet (CAP) 0.4%
Yellow Cake (FE) 2.5%

Total flavors 9.8%

I think my initial mix had about 14 or 15 flavors in it. Great to cut that down to a more-manageable 7 or 8.

ETA: I edited this today, 7/7/22, because the original is far too sweet. Cut the SS down from 1% to 0.4% and total flavors from 10.4% to 9.8%.

@Howard Hughes , can you give us a quick list of your own HH recipes? (if you have time) Just a quick description of them.
French Toast
Angry Donut
Lemon Custard Donuts
Blazzberry
Fuzzy Ta-Tas
Blue on Black
Purplesaurus Rex
Creamy Butter Pecan
Creamy Sugar Orchid
Lemon Meringue Pie
Lemon Lime Fruit Pie
Peanut Butter & Jelly

These are the ones I most often make, but I have others I'm constantly tinkering with.

Thank you HH... copied and pasted into a text file.
May not even need that Super Sweet, but we'll see.
Doesn't need any (just my opinion) It's kind of like salt IRL recipes... you get used to less. Same with sweeteners (although once in a while I have a recipe that could use a bit) Unfortunately, I got LB sweetener (that is just EM) so want to try FLV sweetness (supposed to be like CAP super sweet but better)
I am really happy that I may have created some more activity on this thread. Thank everyone for jumping in.

Just a sidenote (and very subjective): As much as I like cinnamon IRL, I don't like some of the cinnamon vape flavors (CAP cinnamon danish swirl) Same thing with SSA apple strudel (which I otherwise loved) the only cinnamon I like (and specifically for bakery recipes) is FA cinnamon ceylon.

I like the Ceylon too, but the FLV Rich Cinnamon is my favorite. A little goes a long way.

I would like to thank you all... easier to just post recipe descriptions than the actual recipe with % (helps give others ideas)

Phase 1 done (mixing):
SFT of MB lemon tart (sure smells good... might go well in my lemon cookie recipe)
LB white chocolate peppermint (needed something simple for my new RBA build)
Last (but not least) mixed up my Peach Pie (I have this one down... missed it because I was so obsessed with apple pie... that I have still have not perfected)
Now on to Phase 2 (building) I will post that on the building forum (won't get them all done today but the goal is 2 RBAs, 2 RDAs, and re-wick a small RBA for flavor tests)

Finally have time to answer. Lol!

Probably my most popular is Honeycomb Custard and Cookies…a custard with a sugar cookie and cinder toffee(there’s a thread floating around somewhere). My personal favorite is Nanaimo Custard…chocolate and coconut custard with a cookie crust(also somewhere…..). Cool Hand Berries is one of my favorite recipes with coolant(again, somewhere…..).

I probably have a thousand or so recipes, but maybe 10 I remix and are worthy of putting out there.

If you’re looking for inspiration, I did a challenge for myself a few years back…..365 days of recipes. Warning…..I did not mix all of them. Not even close. They were mostly concept recipes…..the beginnings of recipes and/or ideas to potentially expound upon. I think it’s in the DIY recipes section.

Just went over the 365 thread. I was insane. Hahahahaha! But I had a few good ones in there…..Another F*#$ing Custard, Holy Apple Cream Filled Donut, Brown Sugar Rum Custard…..and a lot of ideas. So, so many ideas.

Have you tried Caps Cinnamon Sugar? One of my favorites. Lighter in flavor, but definitely does bakery type cinnamon well.

I haven't done a SFT on the Omega chocolate, and I really should. In combination with the TFA Dark, it worked really well in the Tiramisu recipe (you'll notice there's no Caps CFB in it!) and I don't notice any of the chemical off-notes that are so persistent in chocolate vapes.

Have very, very few of the SSA flavors, but I'm sure I could be talked into ordering Dessert Chocolate. :blowkiss:

Well, if you insist…..

Great chocolate. Has a cakey texture. No band aids or plasticky stuff going on. I think @SessionDrummer did a fantastic review of it a while back, which I wholeheartedly agree with.

It sounds like many of us (including myself) like creamy custard profiles (often with bakery)
I won't be mixing for awhile... diving in deep building (on the other hand, once I build all these RBAs and RDAs, I'll need juice to try them) The first thing I want to do is throw a new wick in my little RDA and try out MB lemon tart.

Definitely my favorite profile…..sometimes with fruit of some sort.

It really depends on the time of year for me (though I usually do have some sort of custard bakery going). I typically only use fruits in my pods for the summer. I just don't get the satisfaction from vaping bakeries in a pod setup. Right now I have the Nilla Custard going in the Reload RTA and it is wonderful.

I like creams and vanillas a lot, but have to be very selective with custards. The only two custard flavorings I like so far are FA Custard and TFA Vanilla Custard II. Absolutely cannot abide Cap VCV1. The butyric acid taste and smell are overwhelming to me.

I HARDLY ever use Cap Vanilla Custard anymore. If I do it is at like 0.5% to add some eggyness into a mix or maybe some texture, but I can't use it at much more than that. It's oily and just kind of gross to me. Are you talking about the regular FA Custard with the slight lemon note or the FA Custard Premium? I like both quite a bit.

The one I like is regular FA Custard, the light and lemony one. I can use FA Custard Premium, but usually only as you use Cap VC. Has to be in very small amounts, and well steeped.

I generally like "lighter" custards. My first custard (pre-made) was Vapetasia Killer custard. Loved it at first (this was a totally new experience for me but... it wasn't long before I really burned out on it (it's mostly CAP custard V1) Before that happened, my first "DIY" experience was adding different fruits to KK (that was fun and simple) In the end, I never even finished that 100 ml bottle. I soon discovered bavarian cream (really just a light custard) I use that a lot. I do like FA custard premium (but it's also almost too much so use it in small %)
I like bakery recipes but almost all will have something creamy also. I have found that too much of something like cookie or graham will ruin my recipes (I suspect too much AP)
I used to mostly like fruits in bakery recipes or at least with something creamy (including cheesecake) but have rediscovered fruit mixes with just fruit (kiwi, peach, watermelon is a good example)
Oh... and I love PUR buttermint (never really moved on because I just love it) Goes great with fruits (especially citrus and melons) Of course, LB white chocolate peppermint is an exception because it's so good solo.
Chocolate and caramel are fun to work with but coffee (even though I love it IRL) is tricky. I'll like it for awhile... then it's like "OK, I'm done for a few months"
I apologize for my long post... it's 100 deg F outside so won't get any more outdoor chores done today (and I'm just excited about the recent activity :) )
Do any of you have any really "out there" recipes? Odd combinations of flavors?

If you like Bavarian cream, you'd probably like TFA's French Vanilla Deluxe, too. In comparing the two, I actually think FVD is a little less "custardy" than BC. You and I agree on graham - I can't deal with that stuff. Even at 1% graham cracker will take completely over a mix and I can't vape it. It does take a week or two for that to happen, but happen, it does. I don't like FA Cookie, but other than that, I'm pretty ok with cookie flavors. WF Almond Cookie is my favorite.

Butter mint is a great vape flavor. I have a Butter Mint Milkshake recipe that's really good for about a week, and after the week is up, the mint fades and it just goes meh. I've tried two different Creme de Menthe flavors in it, and the Flv didn't fade as bad as the FW, but it still faded more than it should have, especially for what that flavor costs.

About the weirdest recipes I have are cocktail mixes (Ginger Rogers, Sloe Gin Fizz, Bubba Lee, Barnabas Collins, Bride of Frankenbru) and Clove Bubblegum. Clove Bubblegum is one of my very favorite mixes ever, and I make it using Molinberry American Bubblegum. I've got a Singapore Sling recipe that I've never mixed, also one called Tourmaline, a Gin Rickey, and a Mint Screwdriver ; I'll get around to them one of these days. They are mostly mixes of different fruits with alcohol flavors and spices like anise or clove. Oh, and Sea Bubbles Ice Cream (bubblegum ice cream). And Frobscottle (from the movie "The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)" - this one is bubblegum, cream soda, tutti frutti, vanilla swirl, and wintergreen. I did mix this one and it got gone quick.

Hi @VapeOn1960

I'd love to see your tobacco mix recipe. Is it posted somewhere?
I really enjoy a Pur sweet tobacco & butterscotch ripple mixture.
And a Soho Meringue mixture.
Combining the two might be terrific.

Just a quick mixing... more strawberry banana milk shake.
And... recently, I really liked french toast s'mores (and have done FT with berries before) so did a batch with berries (WF boysenberry raspberry and bumble berry... that combo works well together) Patiently waiting for the peach pie to steep.

fThat would be similar to mine (but I use caramel... might try butterscotch next time when I order new flavors)
What I was asking was that in your post you seemed to suggest you had a recipe which combined FA Soho and Pur Sweet Tobacco, plus a couple of other flavors.
"and of course my tobacco mix (FA Soho, PUR sweet tobacco with caramel and vanilla".
Did I get that wrong?
If you do, I'd love to see the recipe.

A couple of days ago I worked up a remix of Backyard Vanilla, so named because what I had in my mind at the time was the vanilla of homemade, hand-cranked ice cream (actually, ice MILK) like we used to make in my Uncle John's back yard when I was five or six years old.

I'm being lazy, to tell the truth. Hubbs got my flavors cabinet out from behind the massive recliner last week, but good grief, it's been SO EASY just mixing out of this pared-down set of flavors that I've accumulated in one box. So I did a remix using just a few of those flavors.

It could use a little something else, but it's ok. Main ingredients are FA Custard, TFA Vanillin, and FA Vanilla Tahity. 10% flavors. Have to ponder for a bit - I'm not sure what else would complement a true, basic vanilla. It may come around on its own after it steeps for a week or so. Or maybe I should hit it with 1% of TFA or FW Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

I think I'll give it a few more days.
