Made an Asian-style hash browns this morning.
A couple of nuked and refrigerated potatoes, two breakfast sausage links with casing removed and cut up, a shaved/chopped carrot (used a veg peeler then chopped), chopped celery and onion, sliced Serrano chile, two chopped garlic cloves and some mushrooms I'd sliced, blanched and frozen previously.
Meat and Veggies stir-fried in the pan with some hot oil.
(meat first with the onions until cooked, then the rest)
Added some powdered ginger, Hosin sauce and Sambal Olek for a good flavor.
While that was going on, cubed up the potatoes and chopped the garlic. Sprinkled with garlic pepper salt and some dill.
Potatoes went in with the veggies and meat and got nicely browned. Added an egg just at the end and spatula scrambled it into the rest for a nice bit of extra goodness. =)
Ended up like this - not too shabby, eh?
Ate some, the rest went into a container for future brekky burrito nomz.
