It is a genuine Blue Titanium Haku Xeta. The coating is an anodizing. And Don is correct in that they put a nice heavy coating on just about everything except the positive pin at the base which was anodized gold.

Although the unit works fine in wattage mode the electrical resistance was not stable enough for the DNA60 to recognize SS316L as a temp control material and kept turning off temp control mode. Removing the anodizing on the bottom of the clamps and in the threaded areas of the unit has helped but it is still a little flaky for TC.

Seems like it would have been better if they treated just the cap, chimney and outside of the base minus the threads.

@PaulS this is another great little device. It'll take an 18350 or a 20350. The 20350 is rated at 25 amps.

Similar devices. Both constant contact. Both have 22 0r 24 mm beauty rings/top caps. The Notion button actually fits the Dreamer to give it constanct contact too. Personally like the feel of the mini Vert better but both are nice.

I don't think I ever really thought about it before I put the Le Turbo on the black Ram as an experiment. Resistance can be a lot higher because it's only pushing one coil. i mean that makes total sense, but I just never thought of it.

It really is. Only complaint I could see anybody having is 18650 only. Doesn't bother me a bit. I am really liking the Kennedy as well. Perfect AF and draw for me.
