I'm pleasantly suprised. This past Thursday I ordered a buy one get one deal on a Uwell Rafale X RDA from Vaporider. They arrived in the mail today. Ordered Thursday arrived Saturday. You can't beat that with a stick. Now I need to make a pair of Killer Couples coils to put in one of them to use on one of my series mods.
Got an order from ArmageddonMFG and one from Vpro today. I'm debating repainting the shelf different color... Black maybe?

I don't "think" they were actually used,i'm thinking it was most likely condensation because i bought them in the winter time,so going from warm to cold to warm,but i'm still unsure haha.
Today's vape mail: a 10-pack of caps to keep flies the hell out of my builds. I don't know about y'all, but I don't want to taste burnt flies coming from my vape.

Small order from Eight Vape today as well. Air Factory Berry Rush is birthday present for a friend. (I would never pay what I did for it for myself) The Sapphyre NicSalt mixers are mine. I mix my favorite juices (3mg-6mg) with them for my pods.

And, he gifted me Lucifer! A non-working Lucifer, but nonetheless, it's Lucy! Great display piece for my now empty shelves.

I don't know this for a fact, but part of me wants to believe it's VG, or something, maybe as a protectant? I know back in the day, cartos came with PG or VG in them and they had to be blown out. I've thought about emailing them to be sure, but they SUCK at responding to people. I have 2 gold ones that do have the droplets, these don't have. It's really weird.
I emailed them anyway. If I do hear anything back, I'll let you know.
Thank god,the thought that they were possibly used kinda freaked me out a little haha.

They're like squonk bottles but for a Pumper mod. Made by asmodus. I'd post a pic but I'm at work.
After all the unplanned coin droppage with @pizzadave80 I only had enough budget left to get one Rafale from Vapenw.
That was a fantastic deal from Vaporrider. There's some others over there too as I'm sure you saw. Some nice old classic clones over there dirt cheap.

So I got another Matte Black Valhalla 28 in today, replacement for the one I felt was faulty and causing me issues with the "Heavy Hitter" mech...
This one is faulty imo also.
The screw that goes into the negative post was a tad long and gouged the cap on the mod... so I filed it down to recess it some... still gets flaming hot after a few rips.
So I did a process of elimination...
Stuck it on the Viking Grip... fires fine, gets flaming hot ( I put a really mild build in, like .18Ω)
Stuck it on the OG grip, fires, gets flaming hot
Stuck it on the heavy Hitter... wont fire but 1/4 of the time, gets FLAMING HOT...
Stuck it on my AV ABLE, fires, gets flaming hot...
Stuck it on a regulated, fires fine, exhibits no abnormal behavior.
Use any other RDA, with a .10Ω build, on any of the devices, fires instantly, doesn't get warm in the slightest even after chain vaping.
So I stuck in the drawer, fuck that POS lol

So, there is a ground issue with the RDA... not sure exactly what it might be... but there is one for sure.
So I dug around in my drawer for one of those lil delrin atty savers... put it between the top cap and the RDA...
Works as intended... I knew I wasn't being fucking retarded with it... and its faulty lol

There is a ground issue with the RDA... specifically the black Valhalla.
The RDA exhibits the same issue across multiple devices besides my DNA200
I put a small lil delrin spacer (Atty swirl savers) and said issues vanish.

The black is Automotive spray paint (ceramic high heat) and for the yellow I used Testors Model spray paint.
So it's acting like a short. But the whole base is negative.
Why would the screw peeking out from the base cause a short? It's all negative there.
If it doesn't have a issue with the cap off then maybe the cap is touching the positive post or a coil.

Nothing out of the ordinary there. Did you take the center screw and insulator out and look for metal filings? Lets see a pic of the top deck.

Every RDA I get new, I break down and clean, reassemble.
Tried this now with 2 RDAs of the same, with the same results... only difference this time I put that small spacer pictured above and all symptoms vanish.
