Sad we are going to see tons of this
I'm going to miss regular vape mail. I remembered when I first started ordering things online. I was so happy to have that option. The vape shops I was going to had awfully inflated prices. A lot of shop owners wanted a mail ban so they'd get the business. The vape shops around here have 95% AIO and pod systems now. They can keep it all. I don't need em.

I forgot to check mail yesterday. I went out there and got it today. It's like -20° so friggen cold. I got a couple of things today sent to me for review.

This Manik thing is another one of those Nord-like pod systems but the pods have built in coils.

I've read rumors about Smok buying out Wotofo. Not sure if it's true but it does seem like they've merged on a lot of newer products. The branding looks familiar. Reminded me of:

Also got a black Drag 3 kit.

This is only my second different Voopoo mod. I remember a few years ago a bunch of YouTube personalities were outraged with Voopoo. Shady dealings and ridiculous videos about some kid vaping helium or something stupid with a Drag mod. The YT'ers were all pissed and said they were boycotting Voopoo. That animosity didn't last long and Voopoo is really popular today.

It came with one of those weirdo plastic pod tank things. I've never used one of those but have a GTX 22 that uses the same kind of coils basically. [Edit] I take that back. This one uses larger coils of the same style. It's like they just blew em up by 20% or something..

I don't need any gear , but it's so damn sad for these small businesses. I ordered another liter of nic just now. Finding room in the freezer might be tricky, but I will make room. I can't imagine they will stop flavorings, pg, vg. They are used for so many other things. We might see the price go up. Or I guess worst case scenario, Walmart sells Lorann's ( just watch your labels as some contain oil ) and you can get some Capella's stuff at Amazon.

Just all so stupid.....................:gaah::cuss2:

Got the Requiem that I ordered for my wife (so she will give back mine) and another 10 tubes of mesh for her stockpile. The Requiem came from 3Fvape, and I placed the order on the 29th. Really impressed with their shipping speed on this one. The mesh came from Fasttech, and was ordered about a week before the Requiem was. Still not bad for a Fasttech order though.

I got the mod protection disks in the mail from @Ms. Trixy. These are fantastic! They are quality made. Smooth as butter resin print. Took out the digital calipers and they were precisely what I was asking for, 0.50mm on the dot. Made with extreme precision and attention to detail. Could't ask for more.

I won't be buying them from overseas anymore, that is for sure!

Thank you and your husband for everything, I really appreciate it Trixy!

That TVL mesh is a really good RDA. Works well built as a single coiler, too.

Got a couple 22mm conversion caps for the Recurve. Found them on clearance the other day. I have always liked them more than the original caps. The originals never set flush to the mod, and beauty rings don't look right on them because of the shape. The conversion caps fixes all that.

330 and 32 more incoming, what a rabbit hole... :bunny:
I found BCF's wish list link which will give me more time to research flavors and add ones that I read good reviews about. Now I just need a sale.
I don't have that many, yet. The guys on Developed (YouTube) have hundreds if not over a thousand flavors and one of them won't have a particular flavor in stock for the recipe they are working on.
I thought I have quite a few flavors until I look at recipes. It's like I have none. I have been working on my own recipes since I have all the flavors in stock. A couple just needs a tiny tweak and the rest a redo. Still only had to dump 1 since last August of 2020.

The Developed crew always come up with flavors I don't have, same with the UK mixers. Even worse is some veteran mixers that pull out discontinued or flavors that have been modified since they have had theirs...I am getting better at substitutions lately...

Got some more atty discs! 10 25mm, 10 28mm, and 10 30mm. I love that the paint on my mods won't see a scratch with these installed. The Kidney Puncher discs I recently bought will be given away. Way too thick after trying these beauties. Can't upload photos but trust me these are soooo nice. Thanks again @Ms. Trixy !

lol i wanted them with the way they are heading batteries are next on the chopping block and mods without batteries are just nice paper weights.. they want to eliminate single cells its coming or im just nuts either way i have some spares now and im happy :]
Better safe than sorry. If they do end up taking individual cells off the market, we can expect to see a lot more people salvaging them, and we can expect to hear about accidents from people doing it I am sure.

Those disks really are nice. I got 10 and that clearly was not enough. Gotta get more here soon.

need some thoughts here nominal storage on the lg he4 is 3.6 which is what they recommend do you think 3.75 would be expectable considering that is where the charger stops charging at? im assuming it over charges a littlle to account for battery drain if im wrong please tell me. i cant be the only one trying to stock batteries

I've read that 3.6 to 3.7 or 40% to 50% is ideal for minimal voltage loss in storage. If you go higher, they will lose slightly more voltage over the same period of time.
I remember finding it on Google under Lithium Battery Storage about a year ago.
I don't think you have anything to worry about but do your own research as i'm sure there will be one member here that will say i don't know what the hell i'm talking about.

When I store my heli batteries they are in the 3.6 to 3.8 range. My charger is one of the best you can get for lipos. If this helps. Never thought about using it to charge these but it should.

I'm not so sure about a fridge, I recall a live with Mooch where he mentioned it not being great for cells but that a cellar or cooler room would be ideal.

I remember him saying the same. Cold environments promotes some sort of crystalline structure forming inside the battery or some technical stuff like that. All I remember clearly is that he said it was bad for them to be stored in a freezer or cold environment.

No need to put them in the fridge/freezer, zero benefit.

Anything above 3.2v and not greater than 3.8v for storing is fine.

Just leave them in the boxes they came in and place them in a shoe box and stick that shoe box in your closet

I honestly can't imagine we are going to have to worry about batteries. I mean I have flashlights that use 18650 and also ones that use 21700's But, who the hell knows. Nothing would surprise me at this point I guess. If you feel better having some put away as a backup, then it's all good.

I have to say, I am surprised someone has not come out with a device you can plug right into the wall ( that's safe mind you ) or maybe they have and I haven't seen it.

Haven't heard about using a fridge. I store mine at the end of summer and place in a plastic storage box in the closet till next summer. I have some lipos going on 6 years old which is rare for as hard as these get used. I have some Panasonic CGs that are 4 to 5 years old. I will admit they are not as good as they were new.

Don't ask, lol.

jdTuJW4.jpg
Oh hell yes I am gonna ask LOL...What in the hell is THAT? Love Big Balls? Bwahhh haaaa haaaa. I would of loved to have something like that on a squonk mod or something for when I still went out to bars. Of course I would have the words " GO AWAY" under the picture :)

True story: One of my daughter's friend's drew a picture like that on her arm when she was out one night. Good lord the guys were all like a bunch of bees hovering around a jar of honey. Just SO annoying :) Apparently that worked well and they got the message. She's a little smartass. Hmmm wonder where she gets THAT from ................
