The only vape mail I've had in the last few days was 5 boxes of Nautilus 0.7 ohm coils for the GT tank and another Voopoo PNP RTA Pod Tank that I'm going to use on my Drag 3.

I managed to find some TPP coils last night so I ordered 5 boxes of them. They'll be along in the next few days.

I also got about 10 or 12 bottles of pre-mixed juice that I found on sale. So far none of it is as good as the stuff I make myself, but it's probably more than a year's worth of liquid for me, and that's what I wanted it for. I'll vape this first along with my DIY stuff that has some age on it, and save my DIY supplies for when I need to mix again. This juice was so cheap I couldn't have mixed it myself for what I paid for it.

I will say, though, that Met4's Golden Ticket is some damn good juice. They've got chocolate right in that stuff. (This wasn't part of the cheap juice - it was just a flavor I'd wanted to try for a long time.)

101Vape seems to be shutting down. The only thing that I wanted from there were these:
EPxcC5y.jpg

I'm baffled by one them being labeled "Nipper". They're all the same thing which are tweezers.
For tweezers, I also prefer the straight ones. I have a couple pairs of the elbow ones but I never use them. For wicking I obviously like my picky pokey tool which has an elbow shape.

For whatever reason, the elbows on tweezers just don't feel right to me and a single armed tool just works better for wicking. First world considerations I know :)

So my @River Supply Co. order arrived fairly quickly.

Few bottles of Nic and what was supposed to be 8-500ml bottles of VG...

Ended up with a Gallon jug and a 250ml bottle.

Thanks for the extra 35ml, but really wanted the bottles for batch mixes... plus ordering a Gallon is cheaper than ordering 8-500ml bottles.

What say you?

Edit: Just got a text message River refunded me $6 and change

Grumble...bottles... grumble

Thx for the speedy response

Big thank you to @Just Frank for yesterday's vape mail. My first Aromamizer [new!] in nice gunmetal. a plethora of coils, and some handy wick. I like it already and I haven't even built it yet. Awesome .

Yay! I'm glad everything made it safe and sound. For that tank, cut your wick tails so they're just touching the bottom of the deck. You don't have to try stuff the holes or whatever. I think I cut my legs at 4 or 4.5 mm. It's a lovely vape. I don't use the chimney reducer thing myself. Hope you like it!

I built it last night. Coil position and wicking isn't perfect but flavor still great and a nice vape. I also like open af, w/o reducer.

Today's mail. Who doesn't like jfc - Hoping it does well w/ a reg coil.

FINALLY! I've got a Slam thanks to @bx10r. To me is the perfect mech mod. If anyone else is thinking of selling one, (especially a B2,) please let me get in on the deal.

I've always wanted one too (but ss or other) but there are few single coil rtas that large, although I do have the 32.5mm Vapor Giant v4, which I'm pretty sure is too big. So would like to find the mini slam I suppose too at 25mm.

Very nice though!

The mini-Slam is called the Slim, short for Slim Piece. It is 25mm and holds an 18650 battery.

Yep, the slim. I have a couple clones and they are great except they are clones and I want a real one. Clones never have quality paint/coloring but I often get them to see if I want the real one. Did I mention I want a real one? :) Love this one!

You are very welcome, glad I was able to help a lil bit. Gotta all help each other through the upcoming BS that's being slung at us all.

Kind of a sad thing..my regular postman since before I moved in here years ago, he finally retired.

He was this tall thin white-haired dood who was olde-skool. He'd wave at ya from across the street, bring your package up two flights even if it has a digit off because he KNEW it was yours and knew you by name, and walked the beat in any weather. He knew I vaped and joked with me about the stream of packages when I was a FT addict.

He was awesome. The kind you'd give cookies to in the Holidays...in another era anyways. :(

I'll miss him. But, I'm glad he'd retired and not succomed to COVID or other shit.

The 'new' guy I finally ran into at the pedestal, turns out he'd been a regular on this route too in years past. He's less personable and friendly, but an adult, competent and professional. I think we'll be ok.

No shit. I have a package I sent to someone 2 states away. 10 days now in "arriving late" status. Contacted USPS 2 times now. Both times they say that they will deliver it when they get it. Saying that the storm is to blame. Wasn't that fuggin' storm 2 weeks ago now?
IDK where u at, but if it's the South or NE, those states are still broken. Infrastructure is fucked down there right now. I ordered from Cali, it's a near straight shot via major distribution hubs and International airports to my door.

My 'post office' is actually a regional sorting center a mile away.

Oddly enough, that USPS package I said was in "arriving late" mode for 10 days, has just now shown movement with a delivery date of tomorrow. I guess posting to VU helps :D

Even though it's nto my fault, I feel bad when I send someone something and it gets lost or whatever. Now I feel better but I won't rest easy until it's actually deleivered.

My postman is a cool guy. He drives up in our yard when I get anything other than paper mail.

He has a small red truck that he put strait pipes on lol. The exhaust tips have those little flap things on them. I noticed them all of a sudden one day and asked him about them. He said he did it himself over the weekend.

I hate it when another person takes our route. Sometimes they hold on to my stuff overnight. Tracking says "attempted delivery" or some BS.

Ok that's ironic @Just Frank I received my Trantor IPV in the mail too today, bought from the same place. (I should have gotten two...lol)
I like them. I just watched Mike Vapes video and he got mad because the 510 pin got messed up. It had that old styled IPV flat head screw type pin. The ones I got don't have those kind.

I don't care about TC really. The one I'm using hits hard and immediately. That's what I like. It seems to be build nice. Battery compartment is a little tight but it works. I dig the power button on the side. I had a Thinkvape Thor that had one too.

I've read about something called the Yihi parasitic battery drain or whatever. Im not sure of that pertains to these ones but, mine won't be sitting around unused with batteries in it.

I had the GTRS Vboy mod, another Yihi chip mod, a couple of them, and while I really liked the look and the function of it, both of them, the bottom battery door failed to stay shut after a while, no matter how gentle I was with them, plastic snap or whatever just wore down. Really pissed me off because aside from that they good mods. Total buzzkill. I've avoided bottom loaded mods since. Saw this sale for this one and jumped on it. Need to unbox it and try it out tonight.

All electronics with a push to wake function have a parasitic draw of power.

Like your TV for example.

It’s IR is always awake waiting for a single from the remote.

Mods all waiting in sleep mode til you hit the button.

Computers plugged in with USB, can still charge your phone even if it’s off.

Same with your car if it has power windows, door locks etc... it’s waiting for the key fob press.

Now these draws are normally minuscule and don’t cause issue, but there are some mods known to have excessive PDs.

I imagine it's similar to the parasitic draw on the eclipse. And while it's real it also depends on what you do. Leaving batteries in the mod overnight they're not going to drain dead. Even after a week they're not going to tank. I left some batteries in the eclipse for like a month, I think they were already low. In spite of a low voltage cutoff for vaping it will continue to sap the batteries. They came out around 2.5 or 2.6v (checked with a multimeter). But the reality is, typically not a good idea to just store batteries in a mod. How many people are leaving batteries in a mod for 3-4 weeks expecting to pick it up and vape it? It's not like the next day you pick your mod up that had fresh batteries and they're at like 10% going oh shit, I forgot to pull them out. So real world use doubtful it will matter.

My swell with the vandy chip? I left batteries in it, full charge (or nearly) for around 2 weeks, maybe 3 while using the pulse v2. Clicked the fire button to wake it up, not even a sliver off the battery bars. So some mods do have less power draw sitting idle. I just don't think it'll matter that much. Jai went on and on about it like he set his mod down after lunch and at the end of the work day oh fuck my life, the batteries were at 1.9v and totally shot. No, no they aren't. It's such a minute amount that it will go unnoticed unless extreme situations.
