Saw this for posted for sale last week and nostalgia took over. I had two Stingray X Ti's back in the day. Got rid of all my high end tubes when the squonk bug bit. I'm going to use this guy in 350 hybrid mode with a black KFL. KFL is on the way as are some 18350 batteries. It's going to be my high nic, MTL, super stealth rig.

Sourcemore now got turbo mail, ordered this 10 days ago, and was in my mailbox today

Nice, both Sourcemore and 3F have really stepped up their shipping times. It's been taking about 10 days for me too. Neeko? hmmm that's one I haven't heard of before. Now I have to go look of course lol

Edit: well that's a super cool looking RTA with all the airflow options. I would put that on my wish list if they had one just a little larger than the 2.5. Bet it gives great flavor too

Single or dual coil? Tight MTL? In looks it reminds me of the Asmodus Zesthia. I wanted one of the Zesthias for the longest time, and was lucky enough to find ONE. Well, one of anything we really like just isn't enough. Kwim?

Today's vape mail: Trash Edition

I paid shipping to get someone else's busted ass mods. There were two REO Grands but I immediately threw one of them in the trash as it was too far gone. The other Grand might be sound enough to modify into a working mod.

I mainly spent the $12 to get the wood mod to use as a project box. I'm not sure what it is but it's old as shit. Reminds me of a lot of the wood squonkers coming from Europe way back in the day. Svapiamo maybe? The wood is in pretty nice shape.

Gonna gut the internals, put in a new 510 and fab up some copper contacts. There is enough room in the thing for a 20700.

Why do this? Beats me. Something to tinker with, I guess.

Doesn't look like the Woodvils I've seen before. Never seen one without a sliding door. The corner squonk hole isn't Woodvil-esque either. /shrug
You could be right now that you mention it. He was the only one that I could remember using a cup but then I've never owned any of the early squonk stuff.

I guess it's vape mail? In the sense that it powers the stuffs to make my coils. Makita's a lot of things, shy about their batt packs isn't one of them. They're proud of that shit. I mean I guess it's not 'that' ridiculous given the authentics use quality batteries.

$50/ea, to buy 10x 18650's to refill it is like $47 (what I just paid for 10x p26a's) not including the time to tediously remove the spot welds, new metal contacts, the time to spot weld it back together (with a spot welder I don't own). Plus new control board and housing. Just stings all at once. One of two, they had twin packs marked 'down' to $100. Hoping they last as many years as the old ones. One already gave up the ghost and won't charge any longer after like 7-8yrs of use. I assume the other 1.5ah pack is on its way out shortly.

Single, can do real tight MTL or a loose MTL draw, widest airflow is a 2.5 mm hole, smallest 0.8 mm's.

Completely agree, got my first in a trade and didn't know anything about it. Best trade I've done since I got my first merlin. Have a bunch of them lol

I've been a huge fan of the JG mini since the original came out almost 4 years ago. Absolutely love that tank, I still have 3. The only con was that it is a pita to fill. I haven't owned the MR but the deck looks identical with the same af but much easier to fill.

Took me a week to get used to the bassakwards lid. Turn to the right to loosen and left to close lol. And it's a single coil to boot. I have the damndest time trying to setup dual coil tanks. Don't even try anymore.

I gave this to someone about 3 years ago, it wasn't their style and @gadget! ended up with it. When I was recently looking for one I reached out to him and asked about it, he ended up giving it to me, such an awesome guy!! Oh, and he threw in an extra B2K
:stars2:
Thanks buddy!

Well yesterday or the day before I got advice about how to build my B2K. Maybe you can tell me how you build the Juggerknot Mini. Every time I use mine, when the tank gets a little below half full, I start getting dry hits. I've researched it, watched videos, tried everything I can think of (I've thinned the wick tails until it's ridiculous), and I still get dry hits. I guess I could always keep the thing topped off, but that's just plain aggravating, and for as much as they cost, I shouldn't have to do that.

Do you have any advice for me? When the thing isn't giving dry hits, it has exceptional flavor, and I'd really love to be able to use it!

There some weird physics going on inside of RTAs sometimes. This is only indirectly related to what you're talking about, but taking my beloved Lotus as an example.

Always great flavor. Always. However, once it gets down to about a third full, the flavor amps up to another level. Fill it up and it goes back to great again.. Gets down to about a third or so full again and the flavor is back up. Pretty abruptly too. Within a few hits.

One of those things I've been meaning to try n figure out for a few years haha. I'm sure it's related to pressure somehow.

In the past 3 years I've given more people than I can count tips on the Juggerknot mini because it's so picky. The good thing is that once you get it it's soooo good. I don't think I've had a dry hit in years.

Thin the cotton and make sure that you can only see the bottom of the wick tails at the top of the juice port.

I'll get a picture later when I get home, but if you have cotton showing in the juice ports you will get dry hits as the cotton expands due to moisture.

Looking at it that way, if gravity has anything to do with it, as far as creating additional downward pressure to feed liquid into the ports and thus onto the wick, then the situation with the Jugg makes sense. The situation with your Lotus is strange. I wouldn't know where to start with that. It's almost like more air is entering the tank somehow, and it is losing a little bit of vacuum as the juice level goes down. You have more "feed" when you have less vacuum, right?

Maybe that's what the Jugg isn't doing - maybe there's so much vacuum, it isn't allowing juice to feed downward past a certain point. I wonder if I just barely loosened the top of the tank to let a bit of air in, if that would make the juice flow onto the wick better. (Or it might just cause all the remaining juice to leak out of the airflow ports.)

(I'm perfectly willing to own up to "skewed reasoning" here - what I DON'T know about physics could fill whatever very large vessel you can think of.)

Well it's something of a relief to know that I'm not just being a dumbass. There are very few atomizers that I haven't been able to figure out, but the Jugg Mini, the B2K, and the iJoy Avenger tanks with RBAs just got the better of me. I was having trouble with a Taifun GT4 having a slow leak, but I have that fixed thanks to some good advice from a member here. In that case, I didn't use enough cotton. Picky, picky, picky! lol

The GT4 cotton tip was this guy, it's the opposite of the Juggerknot mini. Glad I could help!

In the picture on the right you want your wicking tails at the height of the red line, no lower and give it a good thinning
images (1).jpeg
IMO that's too much cotton up above the juice ports on that picture as well. Try again and let me know. If you still have trouble I'll build one of mine with step by step wicking pictures.

By the way, did the 3.0 id coil change your opinion of the B2K?

I haven't tried it yet. Haven't had time to dig it out of storage. Stuff like that, some weeks I have to put it off until the weekend, which will probably be the case with these two devices.

That was you that answered me about the B2K, then? I was thinking that, but I'm old and can't remember shit, so I just never know. Thanks for your patience! :)

New arrival... Molly V3 Bottom Feeders edition with extra door and fire bar. This thing is *small*. It is also very nicely made which I guess should be expected from a Swiss product. I bought this on impulse figuring if it really didn't do it for me, I'd trade it. I haven't even used the stupid thing yet and already kind of want another one.

One thing I noted is the atty gap with everything I've put on it. I'm assuming that is by design but it drives me bonkers. Hopefully the black Venna cap and beauty ring I have inbound hide the gap.

Sssshhh........I think my mod from FT is out for delivery today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. When I ordered it I was about 90% sure that it would get confiscated when it hit the US. It's the stainless Grus with the green resin panel. Holding my breath....
