Anyone who attacks peaceful demonstrators is screwed up and needs to be put down hard.
Tell that to Berkeley Mayor & Police who regularly stand down to allow ANTIFA to attack citizens attempting to exercise free speech at permitted events. Berkeley officials should be investigated and charged. This shit has to stop.

Voting isn't the "fix". It's the catalyst.

Dressing up as Indians and dumping Chinese imports into the sea isn't going to work this time. :)

"If it wasn’t clear before, it’s clear now: We are living through a battle for the soul of this nation." - Joe Biden, This morning.
Voting doesn't solve the problem.... but then niether does the reverse..

But electing the right people and not re electing people just because they have "experience"..... might. ...

Ok, I haven't lived in the US since 98 and have only spent 4 months there since then, so I'm a bit out of touch with the place. This shit baffles me.

Anyway, would you say it's accurate that those on the right side of the political spectrum own most of the guns? Democratic criminals excluded, of course.

I can't say that I like the tactic of bringing M-4's and such to a free speech rally, but I don't think ANYBODY messed with these Virginia Militia dudes. Just sayin'.....

I would think that there are plenty of people on the left that are armed; they just believe that they are better than others and the "others" shouldn't be allowed to have what they have. The people on the left are the type that rails against gun rights and then turn around and use any "connection" they can to obtain their own right to legally arm themselves.

No. The Tea Party tried that. Look at their golden boys and girls. Cruz, Rubio, Ryan and etc. are nothing but old guard Replitards with an extra "Tea Party" badge. That's why I never got on board with the Tea Party, though I agreed with their grassroots population. How'd that whole "Congress is the most important to vote for" thing turn out? How'd repealing Obamacare turn out?

The "new" people you vote in have to be the people you think they are when you vote. Usually they are not. The deep state, or whatever term you want to use, gets them if they didn't already have them to begin with.

There are only a handful that have not turned. One good one and he's old and out. Ron Paul. Do you think you can find 400 or so Ron Pauls to even run, let alone get them elected? I don't.

I vote but have voted a protest vote in recent presidential elections.
Been voting Johnson.
Yep he is a nut but no chance of winning at all so a safe vote to say that I voted but liked neither front runner.

I would love to see a no confidence option on the ballot.
Which says I voted but liked none of the candidates.
If the no confidence ballot gets more votes than any candidate then we do it over again with different candidates.

Yep most people who own multiple guns are right wing.
I do say most as I have around 20 guns and am NOT right wing on most things.

There is a big difference between a gun nut and a gun owner.
Gun nuts also tend to be more fear driven than just gun owners or non gun owners.
Why many are attracted so much to the right wing.

Yep and none that went back on their word should have been or be reelected....
BUT... I have enough intelligence to note it took over 200 years to get where we are........ I'm not surprised it's taking a bit of time to reverse course and drain the swamp.

the Tea Party after the 2010 election stopped being the Tea Party.. IMO they just became another PIG. When they tied themselves to the GOP they were done. But it's also true that going against the parties in the first place was a stretch.

The Tea party was just a diversion that many fell for.
I mean once Palin was out it was all over for the Tea Party :)

Name a single empire that reversed course without first failing.

That first "over 200 years" to get to this point is the natural progression of governments. They don't go back. They split up and change, but they don't go back. The splits and changes are usually bloody.

I'm not surprised it's taking a bit of time to reverse course and drain the swamp, either. Because it's never been done. Not through the ballot box. You can't vote out the deep state. They aren't elected.

Your right... but the this is the First Democratic Republic...... in that sense nothing the US has ever done has been done before. ..

I might take a second revolution.. hopefully we can leave the war part out.

But in every other sense, the US has done everything every failed Empire has done.

It matter not one wit if it's the first Constitutional(not Democratic) Republic if those within are corrupt and infested with Wormtongues. Gandalf doesn't exist but the whisperers do under different names, of course.

And don't look now, but Trump is surrounded by them.

I live in a community where 140 languages are spoken hayseed....whereas you didn't know the differnce between a muslim and a Sihk, ....The Tea Party was far more than a diversion...
Where did it go then?

You live in a very non coherent culture.

some of us are able to comprehend more than others,..just because you find something frightening and incoherent doesn't mean that it is.It's a big world out there... I don't find the cultural diversity incoherent at all. on the contrary I find it interesting.

The Tea Party was one of the major coffin nails of the GOP the reviberations of what it did was the election of Trump, someone who was outside the political establishment, and was a nationalist...the Tea Party inspired the UKIP and the National Front of France, It got a helluva alot of Americans who had never been politicaly active off their couches and involved in the political world, and those people stayed involved in politics and elected Trump...

Too many making too much money off of the way it is to want to change it.
Hence the problem and why it's moronic to expect things to change fast or even in ones lifetime.... much less 8 fucking months.....
Civil Rights act regardless your opinion of it took 100 years AFTER the civil war.

DONALD was surrounded by ESTABLISHMENT TYPE from day one... including BANNON. the is more than one face to ESTABLISHMENT. .. it's not just R vs D.... most of the time they are on the same side.

SO by this standard we are looking at about a 200 year wait AFTER Civ-Rev war 2 to see any real changes.

DONALD is not the solution... just a step toward it.

Your right Rome was a Republic and I miss spoke. WE are not a Democratic Republic. ... We are a Constitutional Republic. No king just a piece of paper.

AND yes being species human of the animal kingdom. ... there is actually very little we do that is not the same as was done sometime in the past..... Circle of life and all that other Darwinian mumbo jumbo and stuff.

And they say we are the intelligent species on this planet....

We too stupid to get away from a hurricane without our overlords telling us too.

A monument to the 1990's North East coast raver movement that I happened to be a part of.

See, I knew taking psychedelics and screwing psychopaths would be considered a very important first step some day.:giggle::zombie::confused:

Rolling, K-holes, Darude, wtf.. these flashbacks I'm having.. lol

Nooo...
That's Pulsevape as Sisyphus trying to push that rock (Crommie) up the hill...
Ohhhh, I see.
The rainbow colors threw me, but now that you point out the absurdity of PV's arguments
in contrast to the consistency of Cromwell's trolling guerilla tactics the attempted parable of your chosen imagery
is still slippery but never-the-less precise...if not for the cute colors.
Recall that Camus' efforts did little to call a halt to the suicide epidemic resulting from Sartre's
exposure of the futility of existence.
I also think that Cromwell would seem better as Kierkegaard in this tale rather than as the rainbow colored rock,
in that in my humble blah blah Sartre got it backwards. Kierkegaard's argument, as I believe Bob implies,
was that essence defines existence but both are mutable and transcendent
and that rebellion against the stereotype was a prerequisite to self understanding.

No... It wasn't sayin quite all that... I'm pretty sure. I actually agree with most of what PV says in here.
Just alluding to the vanity of his burden, in attempting to teach teh Crominator... well... anything.

He's pissin into the wind...
swimmin against the current...
pushin the rainbow moonbat boulder uuup the mountainside..... ;)

That you agree with most of what peewee misspells is actually irrelevant to the point, hellcat the racist motorbike rider.
I understood your attempt at waxing philosophical...it all comes down to you thinking he's wasting his time.
I agree.
Both those guys are too old to teach new tricks to. If only they could communicate...
But if you've ever tried to communicate with a rabid dog intent on biting your ass
then you know just how vain even thinking you're cool enough to try is.

Like I said earlier, French students and "intellectuals" kept right on committing suicide
even after Camus in his 'Myth of Sillypuss' tried to dissuade them from ending their futile existence.
Camus, like peewee was a vain man..but he could spell.

No disrespect intended to anyone, but I wonder if the two of them are an actual couple who despise each other after a very long union. I picture them in different rooms in the same house and this is their way of communicating.

Just a passing thought.
