Last time I was in the Market I went to buy Eggs on sale and as I was putting them in the cart I saw another sale of 4 dozen for $5~! Good buy.

For now, I’m not sure if I’ll be ordering eggs this week. But they’re the only animal protein I’ve had in the last few weeks. Four dozen for $5 is so cheap. Mine are $8 for one dozen, of free range blah blah eggs. But they taste great and the yolks are huge.

Humans are designed to be omnivores, not just vegan. Your teeth are designed to eat both plant and animal and your body chemistry is designed for both. I'll have an occasional meal that is just veg, but not my whole diet. No can do!

And I'll leave you with some vitamin B.... Bacon!

Now to take the dog out and vape on the patio. I don't have a porch front or back, porches were never really a Cali thing I guess.

So I worked outside all day with my toe killing me and remembered I stubbed on the ladder in the wood shop in bare feet yesterday~! Was killing me all day and when I was almost finished cutting and trimming the bushes and trees I sliced my palm open on a piece of slate. Not good~! Was almost going to put a couple of stitches in myself but I would have had to make a suture needle to do it. Using a couple of Butter Fly Sutures right now and some surgical tape. Amazing how a piece of slate can slice you open like that just hitting into your palm. Worst part was washing my hands and then cleaning with Alcohol.

Oh yeah I finished cleaning up all the cuttings after I closed he wound and taped it up good. Put on a vinyl glove to keep dirt out but it sure freaking hurt when I showered and then Alcohol again before I used new butter flies and bandage.

The actor is really good! I mean Anthony Hopkins is good but this guy isn’t so OTT. Not yet anyway. I’m only on episode 4, but it’s well done imho.

Mads Mikkelsen played it well and wait until you get to season 2 or 3. It was kind of slow in the beginning which is how series usually work.

We went to Mass this morning outside on the school grounds, I'm an usher so we were seating people 6 ft apart except for family groups. The arthritis in my hip is letting me know I spent too much time on my feet. However, my wife convinced me that we needed to go to a town 30 miles north of us for shopping. The reason she wanted to go there was so we didn't have to wear a mask as that county has gone mask optional. We went to Home Depot and got some plants, jalapeno, basil, cilantro, and a lemon tree. Then we went to Target and got an anniversary card for my daughter and SIL. Finally we went and picked up some groceries at Safeway and headed home.

Tonight we are going to my daughter and SIL's house for ribs. His parents will be there as well. We are good friends with them and I'm sure a few beers or margaritas will be drank.

Sounds like a good time! My hubs was an usher after he was an altar boy. He liked doing it since it made his dad proud of him. And it made a lot of unescorted older ladies happy!

Glad things are getting back to normal in your area.

Not bad, thanks. But I was watching hours on end of Hannibal. I’m hooked so bad now.

How’s things with you? Are you and your P’s starting to heal from Karen’s passing? I’m not being pushy about it, it’s just I was thinking about it over the weekend.

Life must go on and she would have wanted it that way. We are all OK and No Real Emotional Moments as far as I have seen.

I actually slept late again today~! 6AM and I feel like I lost part of the day.

Hannibal is now to blame for me not sleeping at all last night. Lol

I’m glad you’re sleeping well, though. I’m gonna have to get some herbal extract or melatonin to get back into a normal sleep pattern.

Usually lately, I’d be waiting up for food to come today. But I didn’t order anything for this week. I’d forgotten I had an extra dozen eggs in the fridge and I’ve still got Vitacost stuff to eat.

I think delivery places may be opening up here soon. I may call the Chinese place today and see. It’s the cheapest best food around here, so Hot and Sour soup and some Chicken and Garlic Sauce would be great today. (They’re not big on vegetarian in this place. So I’d eat their chicken! )

The episode I’m watching is when Larry Fishburne ends up fighting with Dr. Lecter. I’m like jumping out of my seat watching this.

It has been so many years since I watched it I sort of remember but not really. I do know we enjoyed it.

We haven't had any problems with Deliveries although a couple places did close for a week or two. They never said why but we suspect someone was in them who got sick and they had to sanitize everything. Hate to say it but we aren't buying Chinese Food.

Yikes!! Do you have anything waterproof to bandage it?

Yes, but it doesn't matter because my palm sweats which loosens it up. I change the bandage a few times a day. At least it doesn't hurt as bad as it did yesterday. I forgot all about it when I woke up and when I grabbed the door knob I was reminded of it immediately~!

Well, I can understand that. But I know the people who run the Chinese place here, and they’re nice. The delivery guys are great, too. Plus the food is really good and cheap for a take out/delivery place. The diners charge way more for less food.

If I didn’t know them, I’d prolly avoid it too. They were very thankful when I ordered, actually.

Sure in the beginning of the lock down we also ordered Chinese but it is hard to do now.
