Heh... that's funny, and so very true -- I've sometimes given some thought to the daily existence of a pet, particularly cats. It's really no wonder they sleep so much, it's gotta be hellaciously boring. Sometimes I wish I could sleep as much as my cat does.

Give the cat something else to play with...Cat's need lots of toys or they get bored easily.Our cat seems to love Peacock Feathers.

I'm often tripping over our cat, who seems to wait for just that moment you're going thru a certain space, and must leap across your path right in the middle of it. I think it must be the basis of the superstition about a black cat crossing your path -- ANY cat crossing your path can have an unpleasant outcome! Or maybe it's just black cats who do that? We have a tuxedo kitty.
