My sweet "little" Kandi cat finally did it. We have an outside stray that we are trying to get our cats to accept but it isn't going well. As you know Kandi, our Maine ****, is 20 lbs and really strong. The new cat, a one year old, is 10 lbs and wants to be boss. So today, Kandi was on the bigger cat tree next to the window. The new cat went to jump on the smaller cat tree next to him even though Kandi was howling, growling and hissing. Kandi hit him twice on the head, I swear, in 1/10 of a second. I didn't even see the one hit. My wife had to tell me about the other paw.
Then, the new cat chased our little Babs around the house. She is small female that looks like a Russian Blue. When the new cat ran to the kitchen there was Kandi with all his fur up and back raised howling. The new cat hid behind a cat tunnel and did not move, as Kandi walked toward him growling.
Needless to say, it has been a circus here.
