Nice work! Love all the Mau influenced 'M' cats and Smokey Talk is a favorite, the triangular shape of the face is fantastic.

Thanks @AndriaD ,@Whiskey, and @VaporCat. I really need to get out my camera again before my cats get old. lol

There are some feral cat pics on that site in one of the folders. I cared for them as best I could at my last residence and it looks like there will be more at my future residence. I plan to move to in before January if all goes well. The new neighbors are feeding and haven't fixed yet and I cant help but try to befriend some cats and kittens.

Kittehs are definitely the best panacea for both a cold rainy day and all the political crap about vaping.

We need to get a pet door, for the door into the garage. Tuxie likes to sit out there on her perch where she can keep an eye on the neighborhood from the garage-door windows, and she's very good at opening the door if we leave it just barely pushed-to... but total crap at closing it again! And it's cold out there! So once she's in, I close the door firmly and try to close my ears to all the meowing... but the damn door is right behind me, here at the computer, so ignoring that is a challenge! :D

See what I mean?

I heard the meow, so turned and snapped a pic -- if I kept ignoring her, in a minute she'd be over here, popping up beside me, patting me with a paw -- "mom, I'm talking to you!" :D

Sounds like here Andria, one of Dupree's many nicknames is "The Wailer"...

me: what do you want?
dupree: Owwwwt!
me: where are you going?
dupree: Prowwwl!
me: you want to prowl?
dupree: Nowwww!
me: ok ok

Then he's gone for an hour and comes swaggering back in, only to do it all over again twenty minutes later.

@AndriaD, That tuxedo is adorable! She looks a bit like the mother of my Gremlin. Blackie

Yes, very similar! Tuxie has white whiskers, but black "eyebrow whiskers"... but she has some of the white "toes", and one white paw, I think the same, rear left paw, looks like a white rabbit's foot! :D

This was when she was still pretty much a kitten, not a year old yet, but had survived her first heat and spaying, hence the 'cone of shame": :giggle:

She was a starving, skeletal, flea infested kitten who turned up on our carport at our last residence, who kept our spirits up as we negotiated the whole new world of trying to qualify for a VA mortgage, find a home, and get "closed" before our last psycho landlady rendered us homeless.... so naturally she was and is our Good Luck Kitteh! :D She's 5 yrs old now, and our baby, always.

She looks rather proud even in that elizabethan collar, a fine cat indeed. Strays that choose your home to be their home are the best cats.

Yes, and considering how absolutely terrified she is of strangers, we feel particularly honored that she chose us, to hear her tiny little starving squeaks. She completely seduced our son at first sight; he gave her ham! I said "Great, now she'll never leave!" I was right, she never has. :giggle: At the time, I still pretty much lived in fear of cats, with my awful allergy to them, and asthma too, which the allergy has often made worse, but my son introduced me to Zyrtec, and it works like a charm. So now I can be a Cat People too. :)

Mine hate strangers, especially the calico. All she needs to hear is a car (like the mailman) and the low slinking and growling begins. The cat is a combination doorbell/alarm and a storm early-warning system.

Simba is my cat's brother and lives next door, he's like an orange lion. The three cats in their litter were orphaned at birth, the mother cat was killed by a wild animal. They were all bottle-fed by my neighbor until they could feed on their own. Not one of my better shots, it was taken from some distance away. He is solitary and rarely seen, although he lives with 5 other cats.
