Not all garlic is equal, this stuff is about perfection. And not from China.

P1040868.JPG

Get these from the Grocery Outlet store about a mile away, but worth it.
Yes, those are cloves from ONE head of garlic. Freakin' huge and solid too.

Used some today for my usual breakfast stuff:

P1040870.JPG

One English muffin sliced in half, one egg, two sausage patties, two slices of American cheese. With chopped jalapeno/red onion/garlic/fennel. Cook just once, and I get two breakfasts out of it. :)

Yes I always use Herbs and if you want to make it Spicy go for it~! It isn't a set Recipe it is how I feel at the moment. This was Apple so I made it sort of sweet but did use Fresh Oregano and Parsley.

So I had to work outside in 20°F Weather mounting my plow, and what better to take the Chill out than a Nice Homemade Chicken Soup~! I cheated using Chicken Quarters Cut Up but this is so freaking Tasty~! Have Egg Noodles on the side to put in the bowl before serving.

thats right you have to plow snow {{ poor baby keep er on da road}}
yet we also have COLD weather heading in with more snow,
so that means I STAY HOME

When I am plowing I have the Heat and Defroster on for 8-10 hours to keep the windows clear, people bug out when I get out of truck in a T-Shirt~! It is 90° or so inside the truck and I need to cool down. You can't shut off the heat or defroster because you use the heater for extra cooling for the motor. I learned years ago to clean the grill to allow air flow. This looks to be a rough one but I am ready and nothing I can't handle. The wind might be an issue with White Out Conditions but with a 7 Foot Blade in front of me I am not worried because it is whats in front of me that should~!

Got a few nomz today before it rains and/or snows and the big NFL weekend.
Do not want to carry paper bags in the snow. Had to wait in line for like 20mins to get in at Trader Joes's... masked, socially distanced and all... :)

Nice TJ's 12-pack of 6% Lager will do nicely for making Cheladas and mixing down with Ginger beers.
The 64oz bottle of TJ's branded "V8" was $4. ;)

I figure some of ya will like the DOC Italian Pinot Grigio wine I got for $3 a bottle.
Some will go in a sauce, and in Julia's best tradition, some will sauce ME.

Sharpened to 1200 on diamond plates. It's nearly scary.

Oh, and I finally have an actual slicer that don't suck.
Half a loaf of that rye, some of the crust edges tried to go bad, I cut it off..but never this sharp and clean before.

P1040881.JPG

Hi you mad Rabbit! Kept your stuff in mind. Unfortunately my effort, not your bad but mine, making Jam from our Mulberies was a failure as we dont use Sugar. Which not using it meant it was just slop.
But.
Today I got this....these...and are doing it tomorrow as we have a severe weather warning here and also am going to do my Beef Crazy Hot Chilli Jerky.

:)Ok. So did a jerky today. But did the marinating last night. 12hr marinade.
Used..Worcestereeshire sauce, Soy sauce, Ginger Powder, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Hot Paprika Powder, White Pepper, Hot Chipotle Sauce, Aussie Chilli Sauce, Chopped Parsley, Chopped Basil, Some Gauva/apple/Strawberry drink concentrate and some Carlton Draught Aus beer I got to add.
Took 13 hrs to cure. Had to stop the cure for a few minutes and bring it inside from the garage as the flies went crazy to get to it. So it ended up doing the last 5 hours in our bathroom with the exhaust fan on.
But....... :p was well worth it. The misses said "the best you've ever done!"
Happy wife...happy life. :giggle:
Even if I do say so myself, im loving it.
Next one the same just think ill bump up the Ginger. ?
Marinating...1 kg
