500 mah to (1000 mah 1 amp) wall wart 1 amp will charge it faster, but DO NOT USE anything over 1 amp

Not really you can blow the port or even worst your mother board. Do you have a cell phone charger, and at what amp output?

Look at the output on it, most are 1 amp or less, if so your good to go
