I'm still here. I figured out how to get Youtube on my tablet, and hey, it's found all the favorites I already had saved. :) With that nap I had today, I may be awake a while longer. :D

Today is actually 16th wedding anniversary for me and wife. We have know one another 19 years. I often get confused relative of time. Often live outside of time at any given, moving it quicker, or slower.

Me and her will celebrate with dinning likely at our local Chinese restaurant. This will likely cost us twenty dollars, or less as we'll both have buffet and drink hot tea. It is unlikely anyone else, except perhaps here in the forum, will notice our anniversary.

No we are not anyone special. We do not desire being anyone special. It is still nice to be noticed at times. Oddly there have been times over our time married that others have thought me and her were brother and sister.

It seems often me and her both get stuck in a pattern of spinning the tires to go nowhere. We seem the kind apt to do nothing, too. We're both aware of being insignificant in the scope of the cosmos. Then, what are any of us to a black hole?

So we'll enjoy our modestly afforded dinner in an out of the way Chinese place. We like the quiet and solitude in our togetherness. Even going nowhere and doing nothing we think has to hold purpose. At the very least we each live, we each love one another.

Even the smaller things hold beauty, even the mundane and mediocre. Apologies, this isn't intent as complaint, or seeking pity. It is only practical musings of someone finding a sense of peace cleft out of the absurdity of life. I'm sure our tea will at least be tea. :)

I took my sleepy pills a few minutes ago, so I'm figuring on bedtime atbout 3am -- pretty normal for me. :D I often do tak naps in the daytime, but today's was a bit longer than usual, since I was trying to out-sleep the cable outage.

This is the first tablet thing I've had; is it normal that when the battery starts getting low, the sound starts cutting out? I finally had to turn it off and plug it in, it was becoming quite annoying.

Good evening from LW & Liz to @Whiskey, @Markw4mms, Boat, @always9988, @boriqua75, @Kevin H., @itsmenotyou, @Jimi, @pete67, and you know the rest.

Liz and I took a brief look at some of the posts, and we believe someone has returned with a new screen name. The writing style is way too obvious. We suppose that it's 'block 'em time' once again.

Yes, we share our issues with one another. We try to be empathetic, and understanding. @Whiskey has a keen eye, so watch out.

I need not write any longer on this subject matter. For the rest, as always - Liz and I send our love, and gratitude.

Earnest money, and a contract has begun on a house in our soon-to-be new digs. Wish us well.

For VU Donators, who want to share ideas, recipes, vaping-related experiences - I've started a thread (with Liz's permission :wait:...) in Donator Chat: http://www.vapingunderground.com/threads/lovewerks-q-a-thread.227189

LW & Liz :shades:

Hey, Everyone!

We're under contract, and the lady accepted our bid. Busy-busy-busy... we love all of you, and next weekend - we begin our Colorado trek ;)...

Here 'tis:

Sounds about apt. Wife's tablet, I note does this at times. She tells me I may use it. I never do. *chuckles*

"Use my old cell phones. Use my tablet."

"Got a desktop."

Don't wear watches either. Had to remove wedding band due to arthritis swelling, or growth from testosterone. Rather dislike not wearing a wedding band, especially ours. It is silver & gold intertwined, custom crafted. Purity and beauty together eternally. :) She insisted I not wear it if it were going to cut my finger off. Told her "bah, just a finger." She won, as seems usual. Think I have won maybe twice, of course, she may be letting me think that. ;)

Much as I would be company to insomnia, took a melatonin shortly. Find they help a bit even if I fight sleep. They take longer to affect me though. When they do, I know it. Everything becomes lead weighted. Think insomnia for me is feeling on edge despite all our dogs that would alert us to anything untoward, or kill it. Papa has to watch out for his kids.

Thank you. I'll ask her this year as I've asked her previous years. "Another twenty five?"

"Ask me then," She'll tell me.

Figure she will eventually exercise the life insurance policy she claims not to have. Know we'll divorce when we head toward ages of sixty some, for purposes of retirement and taxes. We still need to figure out the irrevocable differences. I discovered one after we had been married five years. I put on my Doors cd.

"Turn that shit off," she shouted.

It stunned me. I had been married to her five years and did not know, she does not like the Doors. "I want a divorce," I said flatly as I cut the cd off.

She says the way I fold t-shorts will be cited in her filing as irrevocable difference. "You fold them too neatly," she says.

To which I reply by tossing her a crumpled up unfolded t-shirt. "Be your own little laundry service then." But this never suits though as I remain mysteriously in charge of doing our laundry, no matter how neatly I fold the t-shirts.

She is such a mean wheedle girl. I on the other hand, am nice. :) Don't ever listen to her tell you I'm a mean wheedle boy. It's not true even if I do toss little gravels in her direction but not at her, or my shoes.

Good morning/afternoon Kimber my friend I hope your lucky streak never ends
I don't wanna push my luck there. Hubs said maybe we should go again last night and I said NOOOO!!! This lucky streak is gonna end and I want to save my winnings for our Vegas trip. I have to feel him in sometimes.
Creamed peas?!!!!

I just threw up a little in my mouth......
Amen sister!!!
Morning everyone ! Going MIA to the casino LMAO ! See ya later.

Sending some of my good luck your way Breazy!!!

Morning everyone. It's final now, my last day at current employer is May 12. Funny, the knot I've been carrying around in my neck seems to be gone this morning. I'm sad about the impact this will have on my coworkers. When I started there 15 years ago there was 23 of us. When I leave there will be 8. Try to cover a 24/7 operation with 8 people. It's sad. Administrators don't seem to have any idea of how a hospital lab operates. And try to run a hospital without a lab. Oh well, not my problem anymore.

Got some stuff to do before work today,,, I hope you all have a great day

I usually take 3-4 Dramamine (store brand, not name brand!), and drink a cup of cocoa made with hot milk instead of water -- pretty much works like a charm -- you see I didn't post anymore; that was because I went to bed! :D

So g'mornin' gang. Tea in hand, bacon sizzling. :) YouTube Music back on the tablet, so yeah, I guess it was just that the batt was getting low on it; sounds fine this morning.

She needs to wise up -- whoever folds things most neatly gets to be in charge of the folding laundry. :D That's also my husband, so I handle the stuff that goes on hangers; the rest gets thrown into the basket and delivered to him to deal with. :D Suits me just SWELL. :D But I'd have to agree, dislike of The Doors is definitely grounds for divorce. ;)

So, I'm having a celebrity moment this morning. Sitting across the small dining room from me, is actress Amanda Plummer. Would have MUCH preferred Helen Mirren...but you take what you can get.
