Nine days left to work at crappy current job. Appointment with financial guy tomorrow. Funny, all the changes I've been asking for....for years!! They're making some of those changes now that I'm leaving. Bastards.

Drat. Plot hole right away. Difficult having a story where a protagonist is falsely accused of something criminal, when it may not be criminal. The protagonist in this case could have legitimate reason to say to an employee, "I need you to stay and complete the work with me."

Ergo, no false sexual harassment accusation, ergo no prison time for the protagonist. That leaves no story as well because the flux of the story was based upon what the protagonist learns from that experience. Damn. Why do I hit brick walls like this? * looks at day of the week * Oh yes, Monday.

Fine. Vape break.

Anyone know of any larger chain type businesses which accept old mod/s or battery/ies for recycling (and / or proper disposal)? Here local to us there was a Radio Shack in Ravenswood which did, it shut down a few years ago though. Do not yet need a place to accept anything. Would like to have an idea though for when such is the case. Yes, I've used search engines, to no avail. Thought maybe other vaping folks might know.

I generally go to Home Depot to drop off spent or questionable batteries.

That would incur being a special trip to Parkersberg, Charleston. I seemed to need to go to Charleston about every six months, though. Have someone drive us an hour, then we set and wait an hour, to see an endocrinologist for a two minute office visit face to face. I usually set and wait in the office for another fifteen minutes to half hour after being escorted back.

This to me makes no real sense except to have said endocrinologist stamp their D.E.A control number on their approved script pad to renew a prescription I will continually need according to said endocrinologist. All medical records were mandated by the Feds to be electronic last year in an effort to eliminate redundancy, paper work, bureaucracy and provide efficiency. I see a GP in Ripley, which is a lot closer than Charleston. I'm sure video conferencing could be used as the GP I see is an NP and could do anything needed physically for the endocrinologist.

Yet ... got to make that wholly inefficient trip just to renew a script for a non-changing patient condition. Yay.

Ah, and momma, I talked with the Big Boss here, she give me ideas on how to make the plot work despite my issue of the charge being wrong for the protagonist. So, I will be getting to the writing, if not today then tomorrow. Yeah, I know ... Morely, GFY. :)

So very sorry for your loss, Break. You and your family will be in my thoughts. There really are no words to comfort you at this time, but, I hope, in time, you will find comfort in the good memories of your father. My parents passed in 95 and 99. I still miss them tremendously, but time has allowed me to heal somewhat and gain comfort in remembering them and all that did for me and all they meant to me. And I am so sorry about your step mom. May she find peace and comfort. My very best to you.
