I just purchased a phone from Best Buy about an hour and a half ago :confetti:. It was the one that I had initially purchased from that seller on Ebay, that never shipped me the phone:gaah:. I still wanted that phone that I saw on GearWorst, so I decided to try an experiment. I used one of my PayPal accounts @ 5:30am this morning to REbuy the other phone. I emailed them shortly after to see if my order went through. It did....but was cancelled/refunded immediately :cuss2:. I had this problem a few months ago using PayPal to TRY to purchase things from a couple of vendors in China, and was on the phone for a couple of hours with PayPal to try to get the issue fixed. So, about 20 minutes ago, I tried to RE-buy the phone ONE more time (using the PayPal account that was giving me trouble back in June). I decided to NOT use credit card payment through PayPal, so I tried having the money taken out of my checking account directly (via PayPal). Unbelievable............It now looks like it worked:slowclap:. So now......I may have (2) phones coming . I'm going to contact the China company in a little while.....and see if the payment REALLY went through this time:crazy:. Oh well.......We'll see .
Poking the Bull with a stick ain't always the best idea.

I now know how to start a B-17

Outstanding! If I remember.... Controll locks off Master On, beacon on prop clear. Mixture full rich. Prop fine. Throttle secured. Boost pump on. cowl flaps open. Carb heat off. Main electrical buss off. Avionics off. Controlls free and correct. Fire suppression armed. Throttle 3\4 inch forward 3 strokes on primer. Engage stater for 5 blades, mags on props clear, start. Verify oil press in green within 5 seconds, full press by 15 seconds. Main buss on check generator.

That's the abbreviated checklist

Much easier to start one than to find one. Lol.
Where did you acces one? Never had the privilege of flying a Fort, but I did fly a B-25 converted to a water bomber. Love big round engines! 3 to 5 gallons of oil per hour per engine, don't even ask about the fuel. If you have to ask, you can't afford it..... A friend of mine Marie Wright, logged 600 hours in the Fortress in WW2, including ferrying them from Gander to England over the pond at night. 5.1, and huge balls. She logged over 4500 hours in the war, in EVERYTHING! Unarmed, unescorted. What a woman. In 98, one of the Confederate Air force B-17s came here, and the owner turned over the controlls to her, she having not flown at all in 60 years.

After a few mins, she told the Captain, a AA 747 pilot, to take the controls, because he was about to lose a jug, on #3. He indulged her, but pointed out temps, pressures on 3 were fine. 5 minutes later, had to secure and feather #3, cylinder cracked. Even more impressive was her ability to swear, and curse. She raised it to an art form. Lol.

She had *** May, a bush pilot here as her first instructor. *** was the fellow the Red Baron was chasing in WW1, when Richthofen was shot down. If she had only been 65 years younger..... lol

She died a few years ago, I was out of the country at the time, but am still enraged that not a single plane, much less a WW2 war bird was in the air at her internment.

How soon we forget our heros.

Edit Just noticed Mr. May's first name has been censored. It was Whop without the h. Lololol

I saw this on Yahoo & had too know. It was a video. In real life I have flown Cessna & BeachcraftT44a's. I love flying so much I giggle when I get near a bird. The cost of flying is way beyond my means now. But the memories are still sharp in my mind.

Hey Jimi.
OK so many random fuckyness.
Checker this morning ignored mom and was flat rude to her, talking down to her like she was retarded. So to keep from knocking his fucking teeth down his throat I just explained to the customer service desk is the dude ignored my mom, talked over her literally and like she was retarded. Dude got yanked into the manager's office before I hit the doors.
Walmart was a special kind of football bat.

The only saving grace is I got the grilling done on the last nice day.
another weeks worth of grilling out of the way.,

Oh and fuck ecig.com's shipping. Motherfuckers can climb a wall of cocks. I found what I wanted elsewhere from different vendors and with their shipping was still less than half of what they were trying to tell me it would require. ecig.com tried to jack my ass for 15 bucks 2 day shipping.

A couple years ago I tried to order 2-30 ml bottles of flavoring from ECX they wanted over 10.00 to ship it , their chat line operator assured me that was just what it cost them to ship it. So I went to BCV, which is of equal distance from me and shipping was 3.00 for the same two bottles. I hate being lied to

Recovered from that horrible dental shit.
God between the antibiotics and the actual infection.. life SUCKED for a bit.
Getting plenty of good healthy food and probiotic load going, those pills fouled my already fouled guts into knots.
Glad you are over that dental pain, that kind of pain will drive you crazy. those antibiotics kill the good bacteria (gut flora)

Still cheaper than ecig.com and even had one of those annoying chat windows pop up.

That was me looking at beer this morning.
Since surgery have exactly one beer, a couple years laying off the barley goodness.

Fuck it I was grilling some salmon, steak, eggplants, corn and chicken.... I picked up a couple of cans.

I narrowed it down, to a. favorite brewery. b. favorite local brewery never been lead wrong on barley soda goodness from either.
Went Fearless brewery's peaches and cream offering. Instead of my normal Scottish staple.

Nothing wrong with that, in moderation
We have been having grilled salmon almost twice a week lately.
5 a lbs for whole fish.
10 bucks for pin boned fillets... wild caught.
10 bucks please and thank you all day long.

cedar planked hot enough to catch the plank on fire with some olive oil, rosemary and sea salt. the center was not done all the way so it got hit with lemon and wrapped up with the foil ontop of the steak that was done. Got done by the time we got home.

Webber chimney with a couple pieces of paper with lazerri lump... FMMFL!
