ClaireW the vape shop on Abernathy/Roswell: if it's the one in the Publix mall: was not to my taste, basically pushing their own juice at $1/ml. Maybe I hit them at a bad time, maybe I don't fit their demographic, but I couldn't start a conversation with the guy and didn't get offered a sample or suggestion.

It looks like everybody is in bed tonight. Question for everybody. If I am going to make up a good size batch of one of my favorites (I am just ready to start, so I am being hopeful I will mix something I want this much of) would there be anything wrong with putting it in a pint canning jar and then fill my 30ml bottle when I run out. Seems cheaper then having four or five bottles tied up for one flavor. Anybody else like champagne e liquids, I have had a commercial bottle called Marilyn from a company called Exquisite that I fell in love with. If you do and have a recipe of one that is not citris based I would be interested for my first mixing session.

You definitely don't want to make a big batch of anything until you've got a recipe perfected, but you probably already know this.

And, you should post Recipe requests in the Recipe Requests thread or Clones cause you'll get more traffic there I think.

hmm...ok...random chatting.

Was separating my 120ml of nic into 15ml bottles last night. Decided to do it on the bathroom counter so the sink was close by in case of spills for easier cleanup. One of my cats decided to jump onto the counter and start sniffing around. Quickly picked him up before he had a chance to knock anything over and he dug one of his claws into the back of my neck. This caused me to jump and yank his paw off my neck, causing him to freak and scratch up my arm.

Bummer, I think your cat saw your snake and "freaked".
Now you'll get "Cat Scratch Fever".
Sorry, had too, but them scratches are actually quite painful, Hydrogen Peroxide is your friend.

No, nothing wrong with canning jars. The new lids are cheap and tend to rust though...I guess depending on where you live. Everything rusts here.

Sorry should have went to Request area for recipe. Not much rust where I am at. We have cars in Phoenix that are 30 years old and would be rusted out in the midwest that are perfect. Probably should just pick up some 120ml bottles and skip the canning jar idea. Hope everybody had a good weekend. How was the weather in Georgia and the other parts that you all are from.

I put tobacco extracts in mason jars but that is just the tobacco and pg soaking that I stir. Plus I don't fill it up to top.

My suggestion is if You do use mason jars don't fill to top because of the rubber in the lid - the nic might make it funky.

Regular 120ml or even a few 250ml bottles are great for those flavors you want big batches. I do same and pour into smaller plastic bottle to carry in pocket. With these bottles you can shake juice vs mason jar where I do not suggest shaking.

Once you have a good stock of larger glass you can clean in dishwasher to reuse.

I have a cousin who lives outside of Phoenix - wish I knew him better cause I'd visit in the winter! Lol

I really want to do my own Tobacco extracts what kind of luck have you had. What technique have you found the most successful. This is an area that really interest me. Love Want2Vapes Blonde and Alcazar and would like to try to get something I like as welll from my own NET's.

Tobacco extracts I have gone back to is McClelland From pipes & cigars.
I usually do a cold soak in PG for 6 - 8 weeks..Stirring it about every other to every 3 days.

for 1 oz of that tobacco.
put it in a mason jar.
pour PG over it to fill the mason jar about half. (3 cup mason jar size)
stir occasionally.
After about 2 weeks I add a little more PG - trying to always keep it at about that half way mark.
or if you use 2 oz of tobacco you can fill mason jar with PG.

Filtering: I put a funnel with coffee filter on an empty mason jar. keep pouring extract into funnel. usually take about 2 days as I let it sit out on counter & drip till tobacco seems its drained everything thru.

One time I tried crock pot by standing mason jar in crock pot filled with water. lid off mason jar. Set crock pot to warm - the lowest setting. stir occasionally. about 3 hrs later I shut it off & let it sit there for the night covered it with foil. Next day I did it again with foil off. after that cooled - I put lid back on mason jar. put it up on shelf in office & let it sit for another 2 -3 weeks. Then filtered. tasted the same but made process quicker.

Thanks for all of the great info. When I am ready I think I will try both methods. I think I want to try whith ACID Blonde cigar as my tobacco because I there are a couple of well regarded NET juice companies using it and I love the flavors they are getting out of there process. I will let you know how this worked for me. Again thanks.

I normally fill a 30ml bottle for each of us. Takes the wife longer to go through them, but I'm finally getting some FA Watermelon and Peach so I think she is about to be a very happy camper She's been wanting a Watermelon vape for a long time and she loves Peach Bellini so I'm hoping that I can mix it with something to get close. Realized that I failed to pick up the Tea flavor.

After playing around with creams all day today and really not getting anywhere, I threw some FA Lemon Sicily 4%, FA Bergamot 2%, TFA Sweettart 1%, and TFA Sour 0.5% together for a change and it mostly worked. At least it got creams and nuts off of my mind. I have no idea how it will age, but it wasn't meant to anyway. Try it if you wish.

On another note, I finished reading all the posts here, and I have to say you all are delightfully entertaining people. I'll leave it to you to decide if that is a complement or a slur. Now I need to find another long thread to read on the bus to and from work.

Yes, a couple of times. It wouldn't hurt to read it again. The problem is it is a real pain to copy to my Nexus 7 so I can read it while offline because their pages are so short. But, it can be done. There is no wi-fi on the bus.

I have one that's about 2.5yrs old. The newest updates brought it to a crawling speed. I did a reset and it seemed to help. But I hardly installed any apps. Now its running on lollipop.

Yes, I have both the 2013 and 2014 Both running Lollypop and both working well except the 2013 takes forever to recharge (10+ hours). I think it is just getting old and the battery has gotten heavy use. I think it is still working. My girlfriend absconded with it right after I updated it.

I don't know what to tell you about it running slow. Did you check Google's Nexus 7 Help page?
